Cozy bright downstairs studio apartment. A wonderful getaway from it all retreat.. It is ideal space to quarantine in, and if needed, and i can also do the grocery shop for you. Self catering. On 1.4 acres of mature gardens with tables, chairs, BBQ and Fire Pit dotted amongst the trees. 5min walk to Mount Temple village Bar & Restaurant. 4km from the the Old Rail Trail Cycle Way, Moate & the M7, 11km from Athlone. Positioned just a stone throw from Roscommon Castle and just a 5 minute walk into vibrant town centre. It is also less than a 5 minute drive to the train station. Our quaint retreat is also right beside the Omniplex cinema. Please notice, it's a tiny house! It has everything you need for a comfortable stay for 2 adults. The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.

This place was very neat, it was a pleasure to stay at Paul's place. All of us enjoyed the stay and it was a wonderful experience. There is a great walk near the lake and if you get lucky as we were you'll be able to enjoy a great sunset.

This is a gem of an apartment up a few stairs inside. It was extremely clean, well laid out and everything looked brand new. Very comfortable bed and loads of hanging space. Gerry met us and showed us around the apartment and how things worked and he was extremely considerate. There is a large balcony with outdoor chairs and a table which we appreciated. We really recommend a stay here especially as it is a few minutes walk to the river with lovely walks alongside..

Caroline was a great host. She was very accommodating when we asked for an earlier checkin due to an event we were attending. Caroline also, very kindly, supplied and set up a travel cot for our young child. The place was so clean and had everything you needed. Fantastic stay!

Lovely place on a quiet rural road with plenty of privacy. Blackout blinds paired with an incandescent bulb made the place even more cosy—great for enjoying the HD TV, which the hosts kindly had logged into some streaming services. The kitchen included the basics: pots, cutlery, plates, and a stove to cook or warm food if needed. A cozy fireplace added to the relaxing atmosphere. Harry was a really nice host and also included a list of recommended restaurants and activities, which was much appreciated. The place is very warm, with good insulation and programmable electric radiators. The only thing to be mindful of is that it is rural and the closest bus stop is a 15-minute walk along a scenic route with lovely countryside views. It’s a local national road with informal stops, so it could be a little tricky to stop the bus (it didn’t for us), but there are plenty of taxis available. If you’re driving, then you’re all set. Overall 10/10 – would definitely recommend and come again.

Olivia is a great host. We were attending a wedding in Glasson House. Perfect distance for us. Clear instructions for entering the house. Beautiful clean place. Nice and private also. The bed is very comfortable. Also some refreshments ready for us. Was absolutely brilliant and delighted we got to experience the stay.
