Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Balmain

Peter, Cheryl’s husband, personally welcomed us at check-in and gave a quick, informative tour; such a gentleman! The apartment and the neighborhood exceeded our expectations. Everything inside - from the furniture and appliances to the bedding, pillows, and towels - was of good quality. We truly felt at home. The building and location are ideal for families. One pleasant surprise was the indoor pool and gym, which weren’t shown in the listing photos. Our kids loved swimming on a chilly, foggy day - the water was clean and warm! Despite being so close to the CBD, the neighborhood was incredibly peaceful with very little noise. A perfect stay all around!

Perfect location. Walking distance to cbd, restaurants and bars nearby, lots of public transport options. Comfortable apartment with beautiful views of Hyde park.

It was an awesome stay. The location was perfect as it is in the middle of the cbd, which makes everything walking distance. The unit is on a high floor, so very quiet and enjoyable. The host has been very helpful and accommodating, and would definitely stay here again next time we visit Sydney.

Superb apartment in impressive Wharf building, with harbour views across to the Art Gallery of NSW. Excellent location with only a short walk to Potts Point in one direction and the Art Gallery in the other. Friendly Bars just across the road and others in the Wharf building itself.

Great space and location. Nice view and morning light into the apartment. Gym is a nice addition. A short 5 minute walk to the station and shops/restaurants. The mattress is a bit too firm for me though that’s just a personal preference. Slight light came through the sides of the blind but nothing a sleep mask couldn’t fix. Overall happy with the stay- thanks Jenny!

Robyn’s apartment was immaculate. Fantastic use of storage throughout including providing plenty of hangers in wardrobe. We loved opening up the balcony windows, watching the surfers and using the binoculars provided to watch the whales. The resident cockatoos were fun too. We would highly recommend Robyn’s place.

This place is excellent for excursions into the CBD. Public transportation is close and will get you everywhere else. For the price and amenities it’s hard to beat. We’ll definitely stay here again when we come through!

Good location for our stay in Sydney. Easy access to building & included parking was a bonus!

Duncan’s apartment is situated right by the big Coca Cola sign in Sydney‘s Kings Cross. We found it a perfect location in that all amenities were only a few metres away, and there were a multitude of restaurants and cafes right on Victoria Street to choose from. The apartment itself is exactly as the photos show. It used to be a hotel and rooms have been renovated into apartments, so its design is long and thin. Lovely furniture, and well appointed. Duncan checked in a couple of times to see if we needed anything, and we appreciated his responsiveness and proactivity. Would definitely recommend this host and their apartment for a great location when visiting the harbour city! Thanks Duncan.

Hannah's apartment is beautiful and conveniently located next to Central Station. If you're a light sleeper, I would recommend ear plugs as it is next to the tracks and a busy area.

Sophie’s place is exactly as described in the listing. We spent 5 nights with kids and our elderly parents and it served right for everyone. Location is great with restaurants, coffee shops, aldi closeby. Could see harbour bridge from the living room, what a view in the night while vivid festival lightened the bridge.

We booked Daisy’s place during our visit to Sydney with our 2 young kids. It was very homey and we get to prepare meals during the days that we were not going out which made our stay more comfortable. I would recommend her place to anyone who wants to visit Sydney but didn’t want to be in the busy streets of the CBD. It’s very close to the Metro line - Macquarie University station - and is just minutes away to the city. It’s also close to the Lane Cove Park if you’re up for some bush hike or up for a run. The place has direct access to Macquarie Shopping Centre which has supermarkets, restaurants, cinema, department stores, and brands to shop. There is also a good Korean barbecue just beside it and a nice neighbourhood play ground nearby if you have kids. Overall, we were happy we found this place after doing a lot of searching in Airbnb. We’ll surely be back here the next time we visit Sydney, again. Thank you, Daisy!

Great location for exhibiting or visiting a trade show at Olympic park. Comfy beds, easy access, good instructions and more than one towel. Shower could do with a door as water gets all over the floor, but otherwise great. Thank you!

One of the best apartments I have stayed in. Easy to follow instructions and the cleaners were very friendly and accomodating when we arrived early and asked if we could leave our suitcases in the apartment. Very well stocked - all the basic kitchen neccessities were supplied that are such a pain to have to buy every time you stay somewhere. Cecilia was very friendly and responded to my messages very quickly. Apartment was spotless (including bathrooms). 50m walk to supermarket and within walking distance to all Olympic Park venues. Highly recommend.

From beginning to end, this was genuinely the best Air BnB experience I have ever had! The host was so helpful every step of the way, all the instructions were clear and made the experience so much easier. Whilst staying here I felt like a guest at a friend’s home, not a stranger staying in a strange place. Everything was neat, clean, and tidy. Really comfortable and very accomodating. Walking through the neighbourhood made me want to move there, and I look forward to an excuse to book in again in the near future. The parks, restaurants, and overall vibe of the area makes for a wonderful place to be, and I genuinely envy the people that live there. This place is the place to stay if you need an air BnB in Zetland, take my word for it and thank yourself later. Huge thanks to the host. Just wow.

The accommodation is very good. The room space is quite large with many amenities. The location is excellent, very convenient. Just 2-3 min away from train and metro. The host is nice. Always responsive for messages.

Our family of three—including a 4 year old had a great stay at this townhouse in Ashfield. The accommodation was well-maintained, clean and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The townhouse offered a perfect balance of spacious living areas including two cozy bedrooms The location was ideal with parking and easy access to local shops, cafes, and public transport, making it simple to explore Sydney while enjoying the quiet charm of Ashfield. The hosts were very responsive ensuring our stay was seamless from check-in to departure. Overall, this townhouse provided a wonderful home-away-from-home experience and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended for families looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Sydney!

I stayed for 6 weeks in Gayatri's home and had a pleasant stay. The suite is the second floor of a lovely house, in a lovely neighborhood. The place was modern and Gayatri gave great tips for visiting Sydney. I would note a small downside that the kitchenette did not have an oven, pots, pans, as listed. I nonetheless had a pleasant stay and would recommend staying here!

As we drove away, my husband and I both agreed it was 'just right' for us. Warm, very well equipped including condiments, herbs, salt and pepper, coffee machine, clean and comfy lounge and bed, spotless bathroom, a washing machine. There was nothing to criticise. Also, we phoned Arif shortly after our arrival for help with something and he came immediately with his little girl, and cheerfully helped us. Nice friendly feel.

The place is in a great location in Balmain and walkable to pubs and public transport. It also has a great view of the city skyline. Host was fantastic to deal with

Location was beautiful the view from the backyard was stunning. Early morning coffee out on the balcony was a great way to start the day. The salt water pool was amazing, it kept the kids entertained all day. Jacqueline was friendly and easy to communicate with. Thank you for a perfect stay!

Loved our week in Newport. The pool is the hero and in fact the photos don't show the full size of it, so that was a lovely surprise. Kieren was really great and responsive. Newport is really well located. Took in palm beach, mackerel beach and cycled to west head when we could drag ourselves from the spa and pool.

We had the best stay in Pyrmont at Suzanna’s place. It was exactly the accommodation we hoped to have for this much needed getaway! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+⭐️
