By renting the little cabin, Marianne and George open the door to their little paradise. In their place you will feel love, real nature and one of the most beautiful landscape ever, even the drive to and from Tromso is breathtaking. For people seeking a true experience in nature this is the perfect place. The cabin is remote, a step back in time, no mod cons and this is it’s beauty. A cosy, warm little haven in the beautiful wild. It is well thought out - all the instructions given by Marianne and George, and noted around the cabin ensure your stay is seamless and answers all the questions you might have - it is important to listen to them, especially as you are in the middle of the wild, responsible for your own warmth and staying in someone’s home. You are stepping back in time, at one with nature. This is a magical place. Marianne and George are kind and welcoming people. In the middle of an area flooded with guides and tourists and impersonal experiences they are a true find. Passionate about nature and the aurora, experts in the region (Marianne is a local). If you’re looking for other experiences whilst staying in the area - they are the perfect people to ask (especially aurora hunting). Going to the cabin is a truly unique experience. We are leaving with stars in our eyes and will definitely return.

The apartment is wonderful and for those who do not need luxury and enjoy nature great. We looked at the fjord from the living room windows and watched sea eagles, were collecting mussels and meeting wild reindeer. The apartment is very cozy, we felt right at home. We were particularly pleased with the wood stove. Heidi also welcomed us warmly and gave some tips on what to do and look at. That was great :)

Very nice and spacious apartment, lots of space and everything you need for a great stay. Very quiet location and many opportunities to do something to go to Tromsö or Senja. Unfortunately, we did not see the aurora lights, as the weather did not play along, but the hosts can't do anything for that of course. Thanks very much again! We highly recommend this place!

Marianne's apartment is picturesquely located directly on the water and offers a breathtaking view. We didn't miss anything. We will gladly come back.

Thank you very much, we had a great time and had everything we needed in this apartment! We also greatly appreciated the thoughtful and welcoming host. The host had bought emergency food when we arrived late at night and provided a 6-wheeled vehicle for the children. It was popular😊 We would gladly came back!

We wanted somewhere comfortable, warm with amazing views across a fjord. This house was perfect. We enjoyed watching the landscape change with the weather. We saw fantastic Northern Lights on the two clear nights from inside the house, but had to go outside as they were all over the sky. A good place for photography. The house is extremely well equipped and has everything you need, including snow shoes which enabled us to go on two walks in the deep snow. The log burner was fantastic with plenty of logs and the WiFi was great. Anne was an amazing host keeping in touch and updating us on a road closure due to an avalanche risk. We would definitely stay here again.

Second time in Asbjørns house and it was as great as it was last time. Asbjørn is the nicest host and everything went well. House itself is at great location and it is well equipped. I definitely recommend

Erick has a tremendous family that is very supportive. We were at his place for 16 nights, and we always felt like we could ask for anything. We were a group of 5 ski tourers and we all agreed that this was a great location as we had very easy access to Troms, Lyngen and Indre Troms. This was especially important as avalanche conditions can vary between the different areas. We always felt like we had great options within easy reach, as the road network from the house is great. The view from the flat is wonderful and the living room is a great place to relax after enjoying a meal from a kitchen which has every amenity you would need. Finally, you can walk along the shore as there's 2 minute walk to the Fjord, when the tide is out or in. All in all, you won't regret a stay here, and we plan to come back! :)

Elise's house is perfectly and very tastefully furnished. It is very cozy , clean and it has a huge window in the living room from which you have a great view of the fjord. The kitchen has everything you need and the location is perfect for watching northern lights and we had the pleasure of 3 nights in a row. All in all......a 100 percent recommendation......Thanks to Elise for this beautiful place to stay

It was just beautiful and warm at Østein. Great panoramic windows with amazing views. Østein is a perfect host, has supported and was always available for questions. We will be happy to come back!

This was a lovely house with a special spirit (living;-) )in it. An old farm house which feels like visiting your grandma, very cozy, kind and welcoming feeling immediately Beautiful views from the windows,lots of space for our group of a Grandma, a teen, and two kiddos &2 adults. We visited Tromså twice and the 1hr drive is really manageable. Tove was really helpful and responded quickly when we had some issues with the fire alarms. Its also nice to get a break from some of the modern additions to our life: a few days without wifi, dishwasher and whatever else is highly recommended.

We spent a week in this absolutely beautiful and cozy house. The living room is very stylish and cozily furnished, so we could spend many beautiful evenings in front of the fireplace and relax optimally. The kitchen is super equipped with everything you need. The bathroom also very nice with underfloor heating and dimmable light. The quiet and peaceful location on the fjord is unique and looks like a picture book. In addition, we were lucky enough to see the northern lights directly from the house on most evenings. 😍 The hosts Kari & Øystein were extremely helpful, friendly and the communication was impeccable. We would come back any time ☺️🙏🏻✨
