Live the “simple” life on the Baltic: in a solar-powered workman’s hut. The idyllic hamlet of Klützer Winkel is 20 km east of Lübeck, Germany, 6 km west of Boltenhagen, and only ten minutes’ walk from the unspoiled Baltic coastline. Our natural refuge (3500 sq.m./over 37,000 sq.ft.) is nestled among hilly meadows, woodlands, beaches, and some nearby seaside cliffs. Our owner-run plot of land has many fruit trees and other trees, blackberry bushes and shrubs. Pristine meadows directly around the property are crisscrossed by narrow pathways. You can set up your own place to sit, and there is a central terrace with barbecue. Facing the south, the vintage workman’s hut (20 square meter/215 square feet) was converted into a cocoon of living space with virtually no environmental footprint. Its separate bedroom, kitchen and roomy living area are supplemented by a 14 square meter (150 square foot) veranda facing west. All the flooring is larch. All electricity is solar generated with water supply from on board tanks or at the nearby “bathhouse” on the same plot with its solar-powered shower. A wood-burning stove can be used in colder weather. Details: 12VDC power supply, intermittent 220V/80W power with converter, DVB-T TV, radio and DVD player, refrigerator, two-plate gas cooker, and sink. Since 2016 we got a supplementary nonsolar power supply i.e. to have a shower without sun. Plus we offer: Bicycle and bed linen rental (please confirm in advance), drawing and painting kits, arts and crafts equipment, beach utensils. Plus the chance to pick and process cherries, blackberries, pears, and apples (all according to the season and availability, for a small fee) Klützer Winkel also offers many leisure, cultural, and recreational opportunities.

Just 25 minutes from the Old Town, a quiet rest outside the city limits is available. In the house surrounded by the forest, you will be able to hide from the daily rush, listening to the sounds of the forest and birds, relaxing in the bath overlooking nature, watching the stars from the hot tub, enjoying a leisurely breakfast on the spacious terrace or reading a book in the hammock. Relax in this unique and tranquil accommodation with views that extend across the entire Askimsfjorden all the way out to Tistlarna. Here you can sit and study nature, the archipelago, hear the seagulls' cries with your morning coffee and go down and take a morning swim as the first thing you do. Children can move freely in the area as there is no direct traffic, instead there are nice natural areas around the area. We offer our newly built Danish weekend cottage. (Completed in 2020). It's really small, but has everything you need for a vacation; in terms of amenities & well-being. The cottage is located in a quiet private street. The neighborhood is quiet and very friendly. The beach, bakery, pastry shop, restaurants, an organic shop, beach shopping & Rewe are within walking distance. The sun shines in the heart 365 days a year, starry sky more beautiful than in any big city. Simply beautiful.

Our modern summerhouse is situated at Oroe in Isefjorden. The house lies on a 'hilly' plot owerlooking Isefjorden almost at the end of a gravel road. From the beach you can fish and swim.
