The place was so clean, comfortable and cosy. Location was great with many food options close by. Alessandro was very responsive and helpful. It was such a lovely stay and would love to be back if visiting the area again. Thanks Alessandro!

What an absolutely wonderful and cosy cottage!!Stayed here with my partner for a romantic getaway and it's exactly what we needed. It was so so private and secluded, and the hot tub was amazing. Alongside that, Julie and Dave were incredible and helpful hosts. We came here by motorbike on a long road trip and the bike broke down just as we arrived, Julie and Dave were very helpful and recommended us a mechanic - went there and got it all sorted the next day. We loved it here so much we had to ask to stay another night! The area around is beautiful too. The place has everything you need and we couldn't be happier. It's cosy, romantic, private, and got all the bits you need! Hoping to have a chance to come back in the near future, we loved it!!! Thank you for having us, C & K

My family of 5 and I stayed 2 nights at Dean's lodge. It is cozy and comfortable, staged beautifully. We had plenty of space and loved being close to all the sites around Banchory. Dean is extremely quick to respond to questions and was a breeze to work with. Highly recommend!!

What a fabulous place with the best hosts. Couldn't fault a thing. Everything was spotless and anything you could need was provided. Lovely comfortable stay. Lots of additional communal space which we didn't use but would have been great if travelling with friends of children. The hosts couldn't have done anymore for us. Definitely hope to visit again.

All good, the whirlpool was certainly a huge plus and used almost every evening. Her clear and comprehensive communication really made arriving and leaving pure bliss. Just a remark - the beds were a tad too soft for our liking, but that's strictly our own preference and doesn't take anything away from the overall experience at all. 10 out of 10, cleary would book again.

Lovely peaceful surroundings. Beautiful views. Hot tub was great on an evening after a long walk. 10 minute drive from Banchory.

Excellent accommodation and excellent location. There’s a path next to the site which takes you up a hill where there are deer, nice for a short walk in the morning with the dog. I had a dog with me and missed the small extra payment on the info but the host was very patient (I even forgot to pay it the evening I said I would a couple days ago!). Would definitely go back. Close enough to the Banchory grocery stores and many restaurants, but out in a nice quiet country setting with a beautiful view out the living room floor-to-ceiling windows. We loved the hot tub on the back deck with its crystal clear water. The cabin warms up fast when it’s cool outside. This was a lovely place to stay a few days while exploring Aberdeenshire.

Absolutely lovely place that we didn't want to leave! Very quaint location away from everything. We were surrounded by farm animals, was lovely seeing chickens, rooster and even a peacock running around! The cabin turned out to be more spacious than the photos made it look. It was clean and well stocked with necessities. The highlight was definitely seeing the Aurora on our first night there! Would recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful getaway, 6/5 stars!

I stayed in Tara's place with my husband, daughter and my 10 month old Gordon Setter. Check in was very easy and when I was held up at work with a CP concern there was no issue. I contacted Tara about having a later check in and she responded within a few minutes. The accommodation is just perfect and has everything that you would need for your stay. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one with a shower. Lovely decking area right next to the woods. The site it is on is amazing, so clean and well kept. Scotch Corner is an absolute gem as a base from which to explore the beautiful Moray coast. Thanks Tara!

Absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful cabin,everything we imagined a log cabin would be,big thank you to Ally & Jason for welcoming our 2 ragdoll cats who loved their daily walks in the woods on their harnesses,so tranquil & peaceful & plenty places to visit in surrounding area,we visited,Aberchirder,Banff,Huntly & went on the Heritage train from Keith to Dufftown & return,we will defo be back

Amazing cottage in a serene location with loads of options for walking trails & relaxing in the cottage and outdoors. Friendly host Simon was great and gave many good pointers on things to do. Great deal for price!

A stay at the Queen’s Hut is a magical experience. Having your own secluded lochside setting, amongst a beautiful pine forest is very special. The interior of the hut has been thoughtfully decorated. The hut is a short walk into Aboyne that had a nice pub and good amenities. We loved every minute of our stay.

Only criticism was the lack of a tin opener!

Beautiful wee cottage on a private country estate surrounded by woods. Feels remote but only 15mins from Forres. We took the dog and the beach was literally 1 minute from the front door! He loved it! Andy the estate manager was on hand to answer any questions and even gave us some freshly laid eggs. Top bloke! Also met lindsay and see was very friendly. Plenty to see and do in the area and would recommend Logie Estate along the road. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Lovely accommodation, suitable for weekend or longer stays. The kitchen is very well-equipped with everything you need if you are fully self-catering. Very quiet situation with lovely walks nearby. We have already rebooked! Highly recommended.

Had a fantastic stay at Paul’s cabin, high up on a hill overlooking the Glen, we could see dear grazing down below. Extremely peaceful the outside bath and fire set the scene. We had a whisky tour at Cardhu which wasn’t far away also highly recommended. 10/10 recommend this stay.

Our family had a lovely stay at Colin's property. Lovely modern and comfortable interior. The decking at the back overlooks the lighthouse and benefits from the afternoon and evening sun. It has a bath in the ensuite and a walk in shower in the main bathroom. A whirligig outside to dry off your wet beach clothes. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed two nights in the cabin. A wonderfully designed space with the ultimate comforts of home. Love the full-length windows which allow us to admire the scenery. There is also a scenic walk right at our door step. Special shoutout to Kate for the special touches. Her brownies and jams were absolutely delightful. We were very sad to leave one of the best Airbnbs in our trip. If you are looking for a special place to retreat to, this is the place for you!

Great place to stay. The beach walks and area are loverly. Everything was spotless.

Check in very easy, there is very little to no phone signal at the cabin so I was glad I screenshotted the code to get the front door key. The only issue we had was that the bunk room was a little chilly for my 1 year old despite there being panel heaters in the cabin, i was worried I wouldnt be able to contact Vanessa due to no signal but I managed to text her and she got right back to me and all sorted with an extra radiator quickly. Lovely quiet area, fab for the dogs and my daughter to run around safely. 15 mins to ellon for shops, cafes etc

Alison's cabin was ideal for our stay. It had plenty of space for us and good facilities for self catering. The cabin is in the grounds of her large B&B house and Alison was on hand to welcome us and if we had any queries. There's a good bedroom and a comfortable sofa bed. It's very walkable to the pubs, restaurants, cafes etc in Ballater and Alison provided lots of tips and recommendations for eating out. Parking on site. Good communication with Alison. Would stay again.
