Family-friendly holiday rentals in Banff

Really lovely place to spend some time with the family - ground floor access was perfect for the less mobile members of our party and the underfloor heating was great! So quiet and away from it all and great for the dogs as well - plenty of enclosed space for them to run about and not far from some lovely country walks. A few minor niggles with the property but nothing to detract from the scale of the place. We were a party of 7 and it could easily sleep 10.

Very seemless experience. Exactly as described, easy to get in and out. Just remember to follow the what3words location rather than postcode (as Alec mentions in his messages), otherwise as the site is off the beaten track it will be hard to find. Could not recommend highly enough.

Vivienne was an incredible host who was always so proactive in making sure we had everything we needed. The house is incredible and in an amazing location, could not recommend highly enough!!!

The cabin is lovely and we especially enjoyed the log burning fire and seating area with comfy swing chair and hammock. Steve was very friendly and helpful. Perfect place to go to relax and Forres is beautiful too.

The wee love nest was so cosy and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is like nothing I've seen before! Just such a beautiful place to be and nice little walks in the surrounding area. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and easy to chat to! 100% will be back in the future!

I had an amazing stay!The place was stunning,extremely beautiful, quiet, and peaceful with breathtaking views. All the amenities were exactly as described, and everything was clean and comfortable. The small town nearby (just a 10-minute drive) was charming and convenient for anything I needed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Lovely cottage. We come to Cullen 2 or 3 times a year and this cottage is up there with the best. A real bonus was having a tumble dryer! Coming home no dirty washing was brilliant. Thank you.

Alistair’s accommodation exceeded our expectations. Spacious , comfortable, well equipped and the 3 separate spacious bedrooms with separate external entrances were ideal for our needs . Little extras like the provision of essential items were a nice and much appreciated touch . The location is quiet and perfect for visiting the Balmoral estate which is within walking distance , close to local facilities and as a base for exploring the area . Would definitely recommend and hope to return.

Lovely peaceful place to stay. We loved the resident deer, the sound of the birds, the rabbits and the area was really beautiful with a few nature reserves just down the road. The cottage itself is very tiny, but has a lovely history. The WiFi works but is a little patchy but that's to be expected in rural Scotland. Cat (the owner) is very responsive and helpful.

Michael's flat has the best location in Aberdeen: it is literally next to the giant Aberdeen sign and the Union Terrace Gardens. You can't imagine how convenient that makes for tourists. As soon as you step outside, you're faced with surprises after surprises. The interior of the flat is extremely spacious. The smartest design is that apart from the main bedroom, the two small single rooms are on the opposite side of the dining hall, and are mutually connected through a sliding door that you can either open or close depending on whether the two persons sleeping in the two single beds wish to see each other or not. We were totally amazed and highly satisfied.

Beautiful cottage with everything you need, quiet and very peaceful. Will definitely book again.

This was a lovely stay, one that will be remembered for a lifetime thanks to Gillian's local recommendations (supplied in a clipboard). In addition, she was kind enough to allow us leave our luggages until our ferry's departure. The cottage looked the same as in photos but so far as its cleanness is concerned everything is even better. This indeed is a safe haven located in the pulping heart of the city. Thanks again!

This is a truly beautiful place with responsive and helpful hosts. Nothing negative to say about the stay. As a warning to other travellers, try to avoid driving in the city centre. We had a rented car with GPS which kept taking us into bus only streets. We are waiting to know if we have been fined.

What a great place to stay! The millhouse is full of character but was cosy and clean and had everything we wanted. Not only is the location lovely, next to the burbling stream, but it is only five minutes& walk up to the clifftop or down to the beautiful cove. Gorgeous wild flowers everywhere and seeing the peacocks was a treat. Yet the millhouse is only 10 minutes' drive from Asda for supplies.

A perfect house to stay in, also for a longer stay. Sheila provides lots of tips about local activities, restaurants and for sightseeing. Sheila came round to check if everything was to our liking. Compliments allround. Thank you Sheila

I went with 12 family members and pictures don’t do justice to this fantastic spot! Absolutely would recommend to everyone. Very peaceful surroundings so many things to do inside and outside the lodge. Alan was really really helpful answered pretty much straightaway to every message I sent. Not a single cobweb in sight around the whole lodge and this place is huge! All the facilities and amenities you need are located within the house.

Kate's place was perfect - great location right in town, and immaculately clean. It was well equipped and really comfortable, and Kate was great to communicate with - highly recommend!

This Airbnb was one of the best we have stayed in. Very nice, helpful hosts. It was super clean. Modern. Fresh. No bad smells. Comfortable beds. Having a Washer, Dryer, and Dishwasher was great! Water was hot and had good pressure. We didn’t want to leave. Felt like home. Loved it and would highly recommend! We would absolutely stay again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We spent two nights here and really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable living and dining room, ideal if you are wanting to cook at the property. The fire was set up for us on our arrival which was a really special touch. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a peaceful property in the Speyside region, ideally situated along the River Spey - perfect for cycling or walking. Short drive into Aberlour.

Super spot, spotlessly clean and a very cute building. We enjoyed our short stay in the Lodge. Ideal for any group except perhaps small children. Appreciated the log fire on a very driech weekend.

We had a great stay at this nice apartment. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood close to the city centre and the winter gardens at Duthie Park. The only thing that was a challenge for my partner is that he is rather tall and the shower head is placed at a height of around 1.90 metres which was a bit unpractical whilst using the shower since he didn't fit under it with his head. Besides that we've really enjoyed our stay and all the things that the apartment offered.

We come up to Lossie every year to visit family and try to get Stuarts place as all of us enjoy it there. Great location for some lovely walks, great places to eat and drink without needing to drive. Stuart is great at communicating and is very flexible. The apartment suits us perfectly and is always very clean! Hopefully will be staying there next year again!
