Holiday rentals with a patio in Banilad

There's really only one thing you need to know about Johnrey's unit - it's at 38 Park Ave. Every other condo development in Cebu (and I've stayed at many of them), no matter how cute the decorations may look in the pix here, is a 3rd world wreck. Before this, I lived next door at Avida Riala, and one of the two elevators was broken for months. This property has 8 elevators. Most places have noisy window aircons, not the modern, silent split units like here. To say nothing of the location - it's steps from Ayala Central Bloc and IT Park. And they actually spray for bugs here. The unit itself is spacious and will meet all your needs - most of the units in 38 are studios, but here you get 2 rooms. And the bathroom is western sized. Unfortunately I had a once-in-a-lifetime crisis and had to leave the unit in a bit of a state, but the owner worked with me on that.

This place to stay really felt very safe and comfortable, but only one key was provided which would have been a bit more troublesome for multiple people to act separately, but later the front desk was also very thoughtful, and the host couple made it feel like a home away from home.

My family and I loved the place — simple yet classy (at least for us 😉). All the appliances were working well, except for the digital door lock when entering the room. However, it worked fine from the inside, and a key was provided just in case, so it wasn’t a problem. If I may suggest, perhaps consider a slightly later checkout time — 10 AM feels a bit early. Extending it to at least 12 noon would be more convenient for guests. Overall, we had a great stay and would highly recommend the place!

Elmer’s place was great. He really knows how to make the most of the space and had an impressive range of amenities. It’s also in a lovely area with a nice community of people. He clearly understands what Airbnb guests need and delivers it really well. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, spacious, and exactly as described. We especially appreciated the large space—it was perfect for relaxing and feeling at home. The kitchen was fully functional, which made it easy to prepare our own meals. A special shoutout to Kuya Buddy, who was very polite, helpful, and quick to respond whenever we had questions. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

The house or should I say mansion was amazing so spacious & even though the house is high up in the hills so it was cooler, every room had its own AC unit. The whole family loved it! The caretaker was great as well, able to sort anything that I needed including booking a taxi. This place was great & very peaceful & secure, I highly recommend this place.

I was with 3 seniors during our stay and they really liked the place. It was senior-friendly and senior-approved! They are impressed with the house and how clean it is. Rob and Angeli are also very responsive to us, and their place really felt like home. Everyone in our group felt comfortable, the house is very cozy but also very functional for group travellers like us! Their instructions are also very clear and they really thought about their guest, we can see it in their design. The welcome snacks and card is also very thoughtful!

Feels like your in the province with a big front yard where you can play or run around and with friendly dogs guarding. Overall it was a nice stay.

The place was perfect for our family. Had lots of activities to do. The caretaker was also very hands on with what we needed. Highly recommended

We were in Cebu / Lapu2x for the week, Dana's place was comfortably located near my son's football training camp in the vicinity. Instantly the house felt like home. The 2nd bedroom with an office table setup was perfect - had a full day virtual meet & productive focused work. Dana was very friendly and responsive. I highly recommend the place for families.

Just exactly what we need. Clean, quiet, has strong internet connection, with basic cooking amenities. You don't have to wait long for the elevator.

It's hard to imagine a more responsive, helpful, and friendly host than Viera. She was always available to respond to questions, offer suggestions, including places to visit during my stay, and was open to receiving my own suggestions. She's simply a great host. Her place was very comfortable, exactly as described, and in a very upscale building. I felt very much at home there and it offered all the amenities I needed and wanted. And the kitchen is very well equipped, which made my stay easier as well. The neighborhood is one of the more upscale ones in Cebu and has lots of restaurants and cafes, convenience stores, and a supermarket in a big shopping mall. It's only five minutes walk, if you go in the right direction, which I didn't the first time I looked for it. Be sure to get good directions if you're in doubt! There also are street food offerings nearby. And, I discovered, a direct bus from and to the airport for PHP 50. I highly recommend Viera's place for anyone going to Cebu!

Amazing place, great location , close to beach and restaurants. There was a lot of building work going on next to the building which made sleeping at night not so good but it could not be helped I suppose, Karl was a lovely host and made us feel very welcomed. Our family enjoyed our stay at this amazing home and will definitely stay there again when we visit again x

very accommodating host, the unit was true to the photos and wifi was more than just strong which helped me and my partner to get our work done.

Really really enjoyed our stay here. I love the balcony setup, everything is clean, the pool is quiet small but we had it all for ourselves, which rarely happens when I book BnBs. So smooth check-in, non hassle, bang for the buck, and I could totally see myself booking here again.
