I spent two months in the apartment – it became my Portuguese home. The apartment is well equipped, you will find everything in it. It was new, tidy, but it's better to have a car for accessibility to the city. If I come back to Portugal, I will definitely come back to the same apartment as well. Communication with the hosts went smoothly. I didn't mind the ground floor location either, the balcony is facing to enter the building, I never had a problem. Across the road is a market, Lidl is 6 minutes by car. I recommend the apartment by all ten.

We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment was cute, and Maria was very friendly and helpful. The apartment is in a rural enclave between Braga and Barcelos, providing easy access by car to surrounding towns. There are three large comfortable bedrooms, a dining room and a large terrace with a great view. The bathroom was newly renovated. A few things to consider: the gas stove was fine, but the oven appeared to be wood-heated, so not practical. One of the 2 bathrooms was outside the apartment, in a shared space downstairs. The pool, instead of a standard above-ground swimming pool, was more like a raised pond. It was good for a dip, but it wouldn’t have been good for small kids (no steps or shallow end) or for swimming (too small). The animals were super cute though city folks like us might be awoken by the roosters ;) There was also noise from the nearby highway. On the whole, we were happy with our stay and would stay again! A cute, convenient apartment with a lovely host :)

A wonderful accommodation, with a beautiful and relaxing garden, with fruit trees that you can try and the truth is that it is great, ideal for the whole family, if you are looking for a place to disconnect from the city and its hustle and bustle this is the perfect place, its hosts Olivia and Salvador are charming, super attentive, kind people. Undoubtedly a recommendable place to repeat, it gives you peace, we will definitely repeat.

Site very quiet. House divided into 3, with independent access, no one ties anyone. Perto de Esposende. And 15min from Barcelos.

The house was great, clean and comfy. The host was very welcoming and showed us around the property. very friendly atmosphere. I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone who likes to be off the beaten path but still near local attractions.

Such a wonderful place to stay! Great artistic details made by Sandra. She was also great at communicating. A very cute spot in the middle of town and seemed to be a 5-10 minute walk to anything in town we wanted to see. I wish we could have stayed more days but had to get back to the caminho!

again, an amazing stay in Marta‘s flat. we have been hosted by Marta the second consecutive year. marvellous treatment and magnificant flat. great size for three guys, interessted in golf and good food.

My family and I stayed for nearly two weeks in Portugal, at 5 different AirBnBs. This was definitely the best. The property and views are beautiful, and the flat was very clean and well provisioned. But more than that, Daniel and the other co-hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I wholeheartedly recommend their place, especially for families looking to unwind a bit and who are interested in seeing aspects of Portugal outside of the more touristy, typical locations.

The apartment was fantastic, with a welcoming host and a convenient location—especially for those exploring Braga by car. However, we found it a bit uncomfortable that it was a private residence with all the host's belongings still there. Additionally, the requirement to pay 30 Euros for using the air conditioning or washing machine felt a bit high.

Casa do Engenho is amazing. So far, the best place my family and I have rented for a 10-day stay. Near Braga, easy to find, beautiful surroundings, quiet and comfortable. We definitely recommend staying. Monica is a great hostess, friendly and always there for you!

We were welcomed by António, Heidi and their masters kittens. The area was quiet and private, from start to finish we felt comfortable whether to take advantage of the facilities or even to talk. There is no lack of restaurants or tapas in the area, in general everything was impeccable and we liked it very much. To visit there are a lot of things around and the national roads are beautiful to stroll around. Fábio/Joana

Diana's house is as shown in the photos, in fact the pool is better than it appears in the photos, bigger and very comfortable. The house is modern, cozy, and well-stocked. There is convenient parking and the area is reserved but right in front of the ocean. We had a great time and all our requests were immediately met by Mrs. Ester Very satisfied the only downside is the lack of wifi
