Bernardo was an amazing host! We truly had a wonderful time at Bernardo’s place – we loved everything about it. The lighting, especially the brick-style lamps, was really unique and added a special touch. His place is also equipped with everything you need for a relaxed and hassle-free holiday. Aljezur was the perfect base for exploring the area between Aljezur, Lagos, and Sagres. The town itself also offers plenty of shopping options as well as some excellent restaurants, bakeries, and cafés. Communication with Bernardo was super easy, and he was proactive in making sure we had a pleasant stay. We can truly recommend him and his place!

Would happily recommend the hobbit house, what a beautiful place to stay. Very peaceful surroundings with cows for company. Like other reviews, would recommend 4x4 or off-road car as the road leading up to the property is uneven but we had no issues in a crossover. Ana and Michael are very responsive hosts and have local recommendations that they're happy to share. There is lots of space to go on walks, beautiful beaches within 30/40 minutes drive and plenty of space on the property to relax.

This is a great little cottage not far from the hustle and bustle of Lagos. Bernard and Carol were so friendly and made us feel right at home. They’ve really created an oasis outside. It was great to use the BBQ and relax after a busy day exploring. We just loved our stay and 100% recommended it to anyone that wants a little peace and quiet and serenity.

Lieber Nuno, wir haben uns in deinem Häuschen so wohl gefühlt . Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll und schön . Wir haben so gut geschlafen, gekocht und die ruhige Umgebung genossen . Arrifana ist der nächste Beach , der wunderschön ist . In Lagos war ein toller Bio Markt mit unglaublich tollen Erzeugnissen der Region . Das Haus ist BLITZSAUBER ! Ein inspirierender Ideenreichtum bei der Ausstattung 🙏❤️Nuno hat an alles gedacht , damit sich Gäste rundum wohl fühlen können . Wir würden so gern zurückkehren und empfehlen diese Unterkunft ohne Wenn und Aber .

Logement idéalement situé proche du village, mais à l'écart du bruit d'un centre ville. A 5mn de Benagil, à 5 mn du départ de la randonnée des 7 vallées suspendues. Des plages paradisiaques à moins de 5mn en voiture. Bien équipé, literie très confortable, cuisine très bien équipé. logement TOP. Piscine pour se rafraîchir. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

Beautiful setting and so peaceful. We stayed for 2 weeks in June 2025, the location is high up the mountain so can be cool in the mornings and evenings. However we loved having an open fire in the evenings and James provided all the wood we needed. James was quick to respond when called upon. We loved the space this property gave us and grew to love its quirky design layout. We would certainly recommend James and “villa de Cima” one thing we would advise is having the pool heated. Ein wunderschönes Areal mit verteilten Ferienwohnungen. Sehr ruhig, mitten in der Natur. Sympathische und immer freundliche Mitarbeiter. So kleine Details wie Wein und Marmelade zur Begrüßung, hochwertiges Duschgel, Bluetooth Lautsprecher und top ausgestattete Küche haben den Aufenthalt abgerundet. Offener Kamin für die kühlen Abende, genügend Brennholz ist vorhanden.

This beautiful house was a wonderful little gem overlooking the picturesque Silves. Getting there- Research your route and you will find the house just fine but if you’re hiring a car we would recommend something that can happily drive you “off road” The House- Beautifully presented just as seen in the photos. The view was breathtaking from the moment you walk through the doors. It had everything you needed, including space between rooms for privacy, individual bathrooms for each room, plenty of cooking/eating spaces and a nice size pool with a fantastic view. It is very private so you can really relax in to your holiday. Our host- Andreia and her team were great! She provided instructions and knowledge as we travelled to the house and was readily available at all times. We had a lovely friendly welcome from the whole team! We’d highly recommend ditching the package holiday, booking this air bnb and supporting the locals and the wonderful things they have to offer!

It's Paradise! Leider kann man nur 5 Sterne vergeben. Dies ist wirklich ein magischer Ort und war genau das richtige für unseren Babymoon. Eigentlich wollten wir hier nie wieder weg und haben auch verlängert. Wer die Natur liebt ist hier genau richtig! Haben das Gelände kaum verlassen, weil es einfach Entschleunigung und Erholung pur ist. Chris und David sind wundervolle Menschen und haben sich einen wirklich einen Traum dort erschaffen. Ihre Tiere sind allesamt Zucker und waren stetige Begleiter alle Tage🥰🥰 Ein wunderbarer Ort um in sich sich zu gehen und Achtsamkeit zu üben. Wir kommen defintiv zurück! Amazing to stay here! Surrounded by beautiful nature and horses. Horse back riding was very fun! There is a very pretty lake on 10 minutes driving where you can swim, host was very friendly and drove us there. Very happy we stayed here!

Het huis is prachtig, ligt erg mooi, superschoon en comfortabel en heerlijk rustig. In love with Guna. De ontvangst door Bernardo en Ricardo was heel fijn. Ook hun tips waren erg leuk en in venal van nood helpen ze perfect

My Portuguese home! I stayed for two months - could have stayed longer. The vibe of this place is wonderful, it instantly feels warm and cosy. A place to relax and recalibrate. The gardens are beautiful with lemon trees welcoming you from the entrance, almond trees blossoming and roses surrounding you whilst you dine alfresco. Kathleen was a super host, responsive and attentive. Lilian looked after me on site impeccably, even saving me after I’d locked myself out! Adriano was super friendly when he came weekly to clean the pool and look after the garden. The kitchen is great for home cooking with everything you need. The main shower was delicious and the main bed was like a dream. Everything has been thought about and is setup as a home and not as a airbnb (or hotel). Thanks Kathleen, see you again soon!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön, alles war sauber und es ist so schön ruhig! Francisco hat uns sehr freundlich willkommen geheißen und hat uns viele Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

We recently returned from the most fantastic stay at Casa Rural. From the moment you walk into the property it certainly has that ‘wow’ factor! It’s a dreamy escape that’s remote but also not too far to get to local amenities etc. The hosts were extremely accommodating as we had to arrive a day later and we were also offered an extra night for free at the end of our holiday. We were provided with lots of great information that we made use of from restaurants, to beaches, to walks, supermarkets, other things to do etc - this was extremely helpful. So all in all we loved the villa and would happily return again and recommend to others!

As two combined families, the villa's next door to each other worked perfectly! The setting is beautiful and the views from the terrace, stunning for a sun set. We had everything we needed and had a wonderful week. Easy enough to find. Nick was prompt meeting us and was helpful with lots of information. Villa's both well equipped and comfortable. Comfy beds, soft towels, plenty of space. Pool was great and cleaned regularly. All in all a fabulous stay. Thanks all.

Das Ferienhaus liegt in ruheoase mitten eines Mandelwaldes ( hoffe ich hab es erkannt) . Das Haus ist mit allem, was man so brauchen konnte, ausgestattet. Es sind auch Sachen da wie kaffee- Kapseln, Waschmittel, Salz &Öl sodass man die erste Tage alles hat, was man braucht. Die Kommunikation war problemlos, freundlich und schnell. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und ich würde immer wieder gerne kommen.

This home is a beautiful farm house in the area - you feel right at home when you arrive and it makes you want to move in. The property is so peaceful, calming and great for kids and outdoor meals. The location is wonderful and right in the middle of all of the beaches in the area. The hosts are incredibly helpful and communicative (the best communication I've encountered with an airbnb) - always there to respond to you if you have questions and help with anything that comes up. The house is also incredibly well equipped for multiple guests and a longer stay - the photos don't reveal just how many dishes, pots and pans, and other supplies the home has. As well, the windows have screens which is a HUGE plus that many airbnbs in the area do not have. If you are there in cooler or wetter weather, the house does get a little bit damp if you are sensitive to that but that is pretty common for most places in the area and the hosts have put things in place to help with it.

Villa is absolutely beautiful exactly like it is in the photos highly recommended, Would definitely stay here again villa is only a few minutes from the town by car. Everything you could possibly wish for in the kitchen, right down to a third fridge in the outside barbecue area. We stayed with friends, as 2 families so eight in the villa and had plenty of room. also separate areas for all of us so it never felt like we was all on top of each other I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of staying here Till the next time 😎

Wir haben uns bei Frank und Femke jederzeit sehr wohl gefühlt. Beide sind tolle Gastgeber und sehr sympathisch. Frank und Femke haben uns viele brauchbare Tipps für Unternehmungen und Restaurantempfehlungen in der Umgebung gegeben. :-) Das Appartement selbst ist sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier. Auf dem Anwesen der Gastgeber leben viele unterschiedliche Tiere, die alle liebevoll umsorgt werden. Es war toll diese Tierliebe zu sehen. Nochmals besten Dank!

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour, les logements sont très confortables, l'environnement est très bien entretenu et verdoyant. Sublime terrasse !

We really enjoyed our stay at Monte da Choça. Rudolfo was always ready with help, a good story or good suggestions on where to go. We had some issues in the beginning but it was quickly solved and Rudolfo was very responsive. We enjoyed the very clean pool a lot, feeding the animals every morning, petting the super cute dogs and cats, and our son really liked the games and the bicycle available, and we spend a lot of time just roaming the grounds. The hotel is placed in a very pretty nature setting and only 10 mins drive away from some of the most breathtaking beaches we have ever visited. We would love to come again one day.

We had a fantastic stay with Carlos. Carlos gave us clear directions and was helpful with suggested places to visit including Praia do Grande which was a beautiful sandy beach, like being in the Caribbean! The accommodation was very clean and well equipped. We loved squeezing the oranges and lemons from the garden and the peaceful surroundings. Lots of places to sit in the garden, always an opportunity for a sunny spot. There were restaurants nearby and a supermarket in Monchique. We only had a short 3 day break but can’t wait to go back. Wir waren als Familie mit sechs Erwachsenen und einem Kleinkind vor Ort und haben uns ab der ersten Minute wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist wunderbar eingerichtet und bietet eine sehr ruhige und angenehme Atmosphäre. Die Lage ist perfekt um Ausflüge mit dem Auto zu den zahlreichen spektakulären Stränden und Felsenküsten zu unternehmen. Fernando und seine Familie sind wunderbare Gastgeber, waren jederzeit gut erreichbar und haben uns sehr geholfen! Wir würden immer wieder kommen!
