The Shanty at Blue Mountain

The Shanty is a one room 200 sq.ft. cottage for a weekend get-away, a short to long-term work assignment or the perfect spot for creative work like composing or writing. It is three miles from access to the Appalachian Trail and is an ideal respite for thru hikers. It is a quiet, sunny room just a few steps from a private bathroom in the main house. Coppersmith Cottage houses this tidy non-smoking, no pets, living space. Sorry WIFI is slow to non-existent for this space. There are no choices for WIFI in this rural location. There is basic TV (non-cable). There is no kitchen but there is a cozy bathroom and lounge space with queen sized bed. Guests have access to the grounds and the spacious deck behind the Cottage. +++You may see or hear wildlife at all hours right outside the Cottage door++
