Absolutely amazing stay and the house was great!! Thank you so much!

We had a gorgeous stay here with our toddler. The house had everything we needed for traveling with a child and was complete with toys, beach going needs like towels, umbrellas, and beach toys, as well as a crib and high chair. We borrowed their bikes and explored town and loved visiting the gelato place that’s around the corner. At night, we listened to the frogs in the rice paddies behind the house and loved watching the bird life during the day. Getting to the beach was quick and easy and we spent two days there. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Amazing place, the view is so incredible, we spent a really great time at the villa, it is peaceful, beautiful and private! If I come back to Portugal I would definitely want to come back! Thank you again for everything!

The property might lack kerb appeal from the front but the private outdoor space at the rear, with lovely views and with the bonus of a lovely small pool to cool off in on hot days is fabulous The accommodation itself was well equipped and a good size and also remained lovely and cool, no matter how hot it was outside. The location is good and you can walk down to the beach and many restaurants in about 10/15 minutes, although be prepared for a lot of stairs on the walk back up. Would definitely recommend.

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

This is the second time we have visited this lovely property and location. It is highly recommended - Carlos and team are amazing hosts - property is exactly as in pictures and the hosts are always on hand to help and reply to queries. Most importantly the property is private with a lovely little pool and outside area which we enjoyed. Finally the Beach is only 5 minutes away by car. What more could one want! 😁

This was by far the best Airbnb we stayed in during our two weeks in Portugal. The space is so incredibly clean and beautiful. Like a little slice of paradise, with a sea view!! The hosts even provided snacks and beverages upon arrival. We felt very comfortable the entire time. Although the family lives on the property, they were quiet and friendly and made us feel very welcome. My only complaint is you have to communicate through a third party and they require an exact arrival time and they aren’t quick with replying to questions. I prefer to book self check-ins on Airbnb so we can take our time to travel around the country at leisure and not feel stressed about arriving at an exact time, but the third party company required an exact arrival time. So I found that a bit annoying. But the hosts themselves, who live on the property were lovely to communicate with. Highly recommend this space! 10/10

We spent a week at Daniel's house with 2 families and had a great time. The house and property are not only large, but also already furnished or laid out. The kitchen is well equipped and with heated pool, new foosball, yoga mats, the ping pong table and the barbecue there is plenty to do even without excursions. But given the beautiful, quiet nature (occasionally the dog barking a little annoying) in the immediate vicinity and the versatile beaches (in the west with waves, at Sesimbra quiet Caribbean, but cold:-)) it would be a pity to forego excursions. However, you need a rental car and shopping facilities are a little further away (until the small shop in the village that offers Essentials). We would definitely book the house again.

The place was modern and comfortable. I had 2 good nights of sleep in there. Shower was good, everything worked well. The location will depend on what you want. Everything was clean apart from the calcium in the bathroom glass. Honestly it doesn’t bother me at all, it is just a tip for the owners. Everything else was perfect, I would definitely stay there again depending on my needs due to its location. You can see that the owners really care about how you feel when staying at their place.

My husband and I stayed here, it was a really lovely space, beautiful design. Easy check in and checkout. Would come back here again!

I remember reading a review of one guest saying how this was the nicest ABNB they ever stayed at, and i have to say that this was spot on. the location and view are spectacular. the house excellent. Highly recommend staying here. Host was also very responsive and a pleasure to deal with.

We had a wonderful stay! Just a short summary of pros and cons: + Antonio and Maria were great hosts - communication and help was excellent when needed. They brought fresh bread every morning which means less driving to the next town as a guest - fantastic! The house has an amazing view. which is almost unbeatable. The neighborhood is calm with no hotels/noise. - Compared to the fotos it was a bit smaller and older/with signs of normal use than we expected, but of course its sometimes difficult to tell by pictures. Since its southern Europe, be prepared for some insects (has nothing to do with the accommodation but might be helpful to know) - but Antonio and Maria had us prepared with some mosquito repellents and insecticide sprays. The lower bathroom has a strange smell when the drain hasn't been used regulary - but Antonio offered help immediately after we wold him and eventually it improved . All in all a great stay just with some small hints you should know - thank you again!

It was our best experience with Airbnb by far. Everything was just perfect: amazing views, well equipped kitchen, clean bathroom, powerful shower, comfortable bed. Falling asleep to the sound and smell of the sea felt like the best feeling in the world! The host was super responsive, helpful and provided great recommendations of things to do in the area. Sintra is a magical destination. So many people make it a day trip from Lisbon and, in so doing, miss out on the heart of this community. We were thrilled that Hugo and Laura provided this opportunity for us to more fully explore this amazing place. Their Casa das Rosas is exactly as described, very compact and usable. It takes a little getting used to the arrangement of floors with bedroom and shower on the top floor and bathroom and kitchen two floors below, but it works. Laura and Hugo are most gracious hosts and we received very clear instruction regarding parking, entry, use of space and departure. The welcome gifts were much appreciated as well. Great shower! Well equipped kitchen. We would recommend this place to anyone who is OK with climbing stairs.

My stay at Mariana’s place was absolutely wonderful. The house is beautifully designed, tastefully decorated, and spotlessly clean. It also has a lovely backyard — perfect for relaxing during the day or evening. I travelled with my 4-month-old baby, and Mariana thoughtfully arranged a baby bathtub for us, which really shows how attentive and caring she is as a host. I couldn’t recommend this place more, especially if you’re renting a car to explore Lisbon and nearby areas like Sintra, Costa da Caparica, Sesimbra, and Serra da Arrábida.

Beautiful large apartment! Ideal as a base for Lisbon by ferry. Glad there was also a terrace to sit outside! Nearby you have a bakery, a nice place to go for coffee or have breakfast.

We were completely delighted with the stay! The house is in a super quiet place, surrounded by nature, you can only hear birds and chickens, which makes everything even more relaxing. Everything was impeccably clean and the house smelled great upon arrival. The pool is a true paradise, with warm water thanks to the sun that shines all day! Patrícia was amazing, super helpful and attentive. He left us a wine and some welcome tapas that tasted really good. They were perfect days, with nothing to point out. We recommend it 100% and we hope to come back soon!

We loved our stay at Figueiredo’s place. Perfect for us as a couple, with a private pool and deck to relax on in the evening. Quiet location within easy reach of Cascais, via Uber or a short walk, with its great food options. Communication was easy and everything was as described. Would highly recommend this place is you are looking for somewhere quiet near Cascais.

Probably one of the best airbnbs I have ever stayed at. Patricia was extremely helpful for whatever is needed and very flexible with check in times. Lovely pool and jacuzzi. Overall a fantastic experience

I really enjoyed Mariana's lovely quiet house. Fully equipped and clean. Absolutely right! Especially the hammocks are wonderful to doze and read in for a whole afternoon. In one word fantastic!

Our host reached out from the start with enthusiasm for our stay. We were welcomed with special treats on arrival. There was a private porch for hanging out. The very wide, fine sand beach was just out the door and perfect for walking and building sand castles. The community was small and quiet not so busy in June. Still there were many great places to eat with friendly people working at them. A short drive to Sintra and other areas with great scenery. Great place to stay!

The house was like heaven on earth! From the serene surroundings, to the accessible peaceful beach and beautiful interior. Wish I could have stayed longer to be honest! Isabel was a great and responsive host! Will be recommending this stay to all our friends.

Joao and Sandra's accommodation is a gem. You will be immediately immersed in a unique atmosphere, in a house with great charm. The accommodation is tastefully furnished and has everything you need to cook at home, if you want to. The main meals should be eaten out in our opinion, wide choice everywhere. Very comfortable bed. We were warmly welcomed and received quick and precise answers to all our questions. The station is just a few minutes away! We highly recommend this accommodation and thank Joao and Sandra very much.
