Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Barren County

We loved our stay. Front porch, cows, pugs, and chickens. Really close to Mammoth Cave National Park.

We were not there long, as we arrived late and left early. The place was clean and easy to get into. We enjoyed the stay. There were 5 females, so the one bathroom was a little crowded, but fir the tume we spent it worked.

Jennifer’s place was easy to find and her communication was great. The home allows great access to caves and local attractions, but is also very peaceful. It was so clean, uncluttered and welcoming. All of the instructions for arriving and check out were clear. The place is decorated beautifully while preserving the rustic look. Beds were so comfortable and the house was very roomy. We enjoyed grilling on the back patio and watching the lightning bugs. Would highly recommend Jennifer’s place!

Loved our stay here! Lots of space for a big family gathering! Close enough to all the local attractions and big cities while remaining private and quiet! Highly recommend!

Place was a close and convenient drive to mammoth cave national park and other attractions. House was very clean and attractive. Decor was comfortable and cozy. Kitchen was well stocked. Everything was easy to find and use. Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Loved that I could bring my dogs. They were very at ease staying with us. Large unfenced back yard to walk the dogs. Only drawback was that the house is very close to a road that’s a bit noisy.

We absolutely loved Kelly’s place. The location is perfect if you are visiting Mammoth cave. We loved the property, much room for our Grandson to play and fish in the pond. The House had everything we needed from kitchen to bathroom! Absolutely fabulous! If we visit area again we’ll definitely look to stay here.

This was an amazing stay! You could feel the cleanliness as soon as you walked in the door and it smelled amazing! Easy to find and get inside! Anala was very responsive and so kind! We stayed here to go to Mammoth Cave National Park and it was only a 25 minute drive, super close and convenient, would definitely stay again!!

Great place to stay! even though it rained most of the time we stayed, with all of the outdoor shelters and seating, we were able to stay outside during most of it. The trampoline is a nice touch, which the kids really loved. We would definitely stay here again!

It was such an easy check in, Sam was very responsive whenever we needed something or had questions. Everything was accessible and clean. Overall very good!

The place was so nice I love how spacious it was I love the decor I love that it made me feel it home had no problems getting in the door accessible to other places of surrounding the facility I didn't have to worry about no one bothering me or interrupting me or disturbing me My overall review best 10 out of 10 I would definitely book with him again if I'm ever in bowling Green Kentucky I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to stay I didn't have no problem with payment I didn't have no problem with it being nasty or dirty check out with easy just as well as check in thank you for allowing me to book that place for my stay there

Check in was easy, place was in great shape, host communication was quick and clear.

Kyla is an absolute joy to work with. our stay was amazing! she was very responsive and always answered any questions I had right away. the few downsides I had were considered and being taken into consideration. if your looking for an extremely clean place to stay very close to Mammoth caves with Kentucky down under right across the road this is your rental!!! Many amenities super close by. So happy with our stay!

Stop looking and book it. Secluded cluster of cabins just off the highway. Feels very new. Super clean. Bed was comfortable and had a ton of pillows. Linens were clean and fresh. Kitchen was well stocked. Refrigerator was full-sized and very cold. Shower water pressure was great and shower drained well. Plenty of towels supplied. Fun little covered porch on the back that looks into the woods. Firepit on the front was supplied with a fire starter kit and a starter stack of wood. Firewood for sale is close by. Host was nearby, friendly and helpful. Good experience. 5-stars.

The Fox Den was so lovely and we can not wait to stay again! So so clean and comfortable stocked with everything we needed or a week’s stay. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful with lots of wildlife. This is a must-stay property!

This is a beautiful, clean, and well appointed cabin. Lora was so kind to check in and make sure we had all we needed after our arrival, but the place was already perfect and we felt right at home. We stayed during the summer which was great for easy access to Barren River Lake, but this would also be an amazing winter rental with the cozy look of the cabin and the two fireplaces. Thank you Lora for hosting us!

We had a wonderful stay at Peggy’s cabin! From the moment we arrived, Peggy made us feel right at home with her warm welcome , she even brought us farm fresh eggs and homemade bread, which was such a lovely touch. The cabin itself was clean, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The camp-style community added to the charm and made the experience feel unique and peaceful. Peggy and her husband were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, always available if we needed anything. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts ,highly recommend staying here!

Amazing lakeside retreat! Randy and Yvonne were awesome and responded promptly with any questions or concerns. Myself and my friends are already discussing booking this property again for another lake getaway.

Joel’s place was the perfect spot for a guys golf trip to park mammoth! It was less than 5 minutes away from the course. Joel was a great host and has a nice place in an area where there aren’t a lot of lodging options!

We very much enjoyed staying at Christina's place on our family vacation. The cabin is beautiful, even more so than the pictures. The S'mores theme is used well throughout the space in the cutest ways. The Game room was a HUGE hit with my kiddos. We cooked several meals in the kitchen with no issue. It was quite rainy the time we went, so we couldn't get a fire going, but the fire pit was very welcoming and would be a great place to relax on dryer days. The house can get a little warm in the summer, but the bedrooms can be kept pretty cool, and fans are provided to help with the other spaces. Overall, we had a very pleasant trip, and would gladly stay here again.

This was the perfect place to stay for our quick weekend trip! Super close to Mammoth Cave which was the reason for our visit and it was close to the restaurants we were able to find while we were there. It was so peaceful and quiet! The cabin was the perfect size for the two of us. We’ll definitely be staying here next time we visit
