Mt Somers was a quick little stopover so we could visit Mount Sunday. Hilary was a fantastic host and recommended a nice local restaurant for dinner. She even remembered the reason I was staying (to visit Edoras from LotR) and left a nice note. The home was super clean and tidy and felt very cozy. Would definitely recommend if looking to stay in Mt Somers!

We had a wonderful stay in a very comfortable home. The home is spacious and very well equipped. With the unseasonable weather during most of our stay we were very grateful for the efficient heating and, on 2 occasions, the wood burner. Sam communicated very well and on occasions we required assistance, she was very responsive. We would be very happy to stay in this home again and will certainly recommend it to others.

This is my second stay at Roseberries. It’s pretty and peaceful, with a relaxed charm. Sheryl is lovely, going over and beyond to make sure the studio has everything you need to be comfortable. Highly recommend, if you’re looking for a place to stay in Ashburton.
