Cottage holiday rentals in Barry County

Very nice house on a beautiful lake Odessa. Look exactly like the pictures. Very peaceful place. Kids love it by the water and was able to fish all day. Would definitely consider going back.

Pictures are accurate and the lake is huge! The only minor inconvenience was that there was only 2 life vests and 4 kayaks so perhaps bring your own! Other than that, everything in the house was perfect and spacious. You get a lot of privacy. Definitely recommend.

Only stayed 2 nights but this cottage was the perfect spot to relax after exploring Saugatuck and Holland. One morning, we kayaked around Mill Lake before heading to Saugatuck (about a 45-minute drive with no traffic) to hike the Dunes North Outer Loop Beach Trail. Afterward, we drove just five minutes to downtown for dinner and drinks, then made our way to Oval Beach to catch the sunset. On another day, we visited Windmill Island for the Tulip Festival, spent some time downtown for dinner, and ended the evening back at the cottage soaking in the hot tub. Thanks for the short notice booking, LOVED the cottage! :)

Overall it was a pleasant stay. BUT… the initial address given was not the address of the house so we have to drive another 30 minutes to get to the house. The house was clean, rustic and ideal for us 3 people and a dog. We enjoyed the amenities especially the billiards and kayaks. Also our dog enjoyed running around the property.

I booked Bill's home for some of my co-workers. They enjoyed their stay, and their comments that stood out to me was they loved the setting on the lake, and they enjoyed the hot tub. Thanks Bill, I will recommend your home if my friends or co-workers are in the area again.

This was the families favorite home rental yet! The view and amenities were amazing!! Great hot tub and sound systems everywhere. You can tell Lago is a HOME as it has everything supplied to where there was nothing we needed to bring in (besides a small touch of knowing to grab firewood if we wanted to do bonfire). We really enjoyed the beach, kayaks, and paddle boat as well as the open kitchen-living room with nice windows to see the lake.

need a small get away? its the spot for sure. the grounds keeper is super helpful as well. quiet and peaceful

We loved our girls weekend in Paw Paw. Plenty of space for 6 of us and all the necessities you can think of were provided. Can't wait to come back!

Great place. Beautiful views and friendly neighbors. Just enough space for everyone at night and more than enough to spread out and to do around the cabin inside and out.

We had a wonderful, relaxing time. It was private and peaceful, and the firepit space was bordered by a nice little woodsy area. The firepit was stocked with kindling and wood, so was easy to use. The adjacent circle-drive was a perfect dog-walk with minimal traffic. Kent's place looks nicer in person than what we expected from the photos. We'd be glad to stay there again. Charlie & Nancy

Beautiful lakefront property, plenty of room for a family, nice accommodations and amenities, plus a very friendly, proactive Host. We would love to take advantage of all the opportunities the Gun Lake community provides during the summer months and would definitely return here to stay.

Stayed at this place for a wedding with my husband and another couple. We had a very pleasant stay! House was clean, view was great, and within walking distance from Bay Pointe Inn. Exactly what we needed for the weekend.

My sisters and I absolutely loved staying in this beautifully restored home! It had plenty of space to spread out and move around, was clean and neat as a pin, and had such charm and character! It was very well appointed and had everything we needed to be comfortable and well cared for! It was so peaceful and in a beautiful setting!

Communication was seamless from start to finish, and Jacob went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The neighborhood was conveniently located for our job site and when we had to extend he did everything to accommodated to our needs! Loved our stay here. Quiet, beautiful views, but only 15 minutes away from restaurants and other things to do. Comfortable for our family and small dog. The back sun room was our favorite place and the upstairs nook was our hangout spot every evening. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway that's not too far from everything.

The lake house was the perfect location for our relaxing weekend getaway. Leslie was so kind, responsive, and flexible with check in & out times. House was exactly what it looked like in pictures & having fire wood supplied was so helpful. The outdoor area (little beach, awesome fire pit setup, and paddleboards/ kayaks/ pedal boat) were the perfect hangout amenities! The hot tub was clean and just what I needed since Spring hasn’t sprung yet.

We loved this property! It was perfect for us. I’ve stayed in a lot of rentals and this was the cleanest property I have ever stayed in. Immaculate!! Kyle’s attention to detail was outstanding- From the welcome info, to checking in, and making sure we had the best stay. I am already planning another trip back! The grounds and view are awesome and we caught 34 fish! 5 Stars all the way around!! Thank you for an unforgettable stay, Kyle. We can’t wait to come back!!
