Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Basque Country

Upon arrival, Marisa was waiting for us on time to explain how the house worked, to give us local recommendations and with local delights. 🫶🏽 The house is super comfortable, we would return without hesitation. Very quiet at night, which ensures a good rest after having toured the best places in Bilbao, which can be accessed on foot. Supermarket, cafes, and stores a few meters away. We spent a few beautiful days in Bilbao and that was also thanks to Marisa.

Stunning apartment, great views, really well located. Comfortable beds, and thoughtful touches. Would gladly recommend to anyone, and it's even better than the pictures.

I know with today’s tech, you can communicate with host and never meet in person. Ana met us at the door, walked us through the apartment, showed us where everything was. She told us all her favorite restaurants, shopping haunts. Those personal touches make a difference. We loved the place. Of note there is only one bathroom which is clearly stated.

We had the most fantastic stay in Monse’s beautiful apartment and are very sad to be leaving. The apartment is modern comfort while steeped in history and the beams and exposed brick show history and rustic charm while all the beautiful furniture and fittings show excellent style and taste. It has everything you could need and the bottle of wine was a welcome and lovely touch. The apartment is in the heart of the old town with all the best bars literally a stones throw away and it was perfect for trying out the best of San Sebastian’s food, drink and culture. We couldn’t have loved it more and are already planning a return visit. Thanks to Monse for sharing her beautiful apartment and for the great advice and recommendations.

Paul was a very helpful & communicative host, he was proactive & gave us many tips of what to do & eat in the town. If you are looking for somewhere to stay that is largely off the tourist trail you could do worst than to stay at Paul's accommodation. This is a town where you can see real Basque people living authentic lives & not just another tourist trap.

The stay in Bilbao was very pleasant and Ascen's apartment is a great starting point for exploring both the old city and Bilbao in general. The many restaurants and bars generally close at 11pm, so in the evening there are no particular noise problems (typical of such central/tourist areas).

What a brilliant trip, one of our best ever! From the moment we arrived, our hosts Miguel and his wife made us feel incredibly welcome. The apartment, located in the heart of the Gros area, was perfect... It was clean, safe, and ideally situated for exploring San Sebastián. We couldn't have asked for a better spot. Miguel and his wife went above and beyond, providing us with helpful information and even a lot of food, which was so appreciated. Although we don’t speak Spanish and they don’t speak English, we easily communicated through a phone app and it worked just fine! A special mention to the lovely lady in the nearby coffee shop who had my coffee ready each morning before I even asked such a nice touch. The food in the local restaurants was outstanding, especially the pizza place below the apartment honestly one of the best we’ve had and great value too. Would we return to this apartment and location? Absolutely, 100% yes. Thank you, Miguel and your wonderful wife, for everything.

We were very comfortable. Ideal for families. We were with our dog and phenomenal too. All impeccable and thoughtful down to the last detail.

The accommodation was great, very well equipped, pleasant and the location convenient for access to the beach or the city center.

An absolutely stunning property, with everything you could possibly need for a home away from home stay. Fantastic pool and pool house as well. Large kitchen/ dining/ living area meant that even with 8 adults staying it never felt crowded. Fresh baked goods left for our arrival as well as complementary toiletries. Tania and her husband were so helpful even arranging an early check in at the last minute. Genuinely is only 15 minutes drive from Bilbao and the beach, although bus stop is only a short walk away. Couple of restaurants in the local town are a short walk away. Comment from a past visitor about security cameras was over exaggerated, there is one camera pointing at the back of the garden and not into or around the house. Also felt very safe as there is the regional police headquarters behind the property 😂(but doesn’t overlook it at all). We will definitely be returning to this property and to beautiful Bilbao.

Very nice and clean accommodation

Leigham was an excellent host. Very responsive to any and all questions and was able to provide numerous recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. “Number 8” is located in a small, walled, hilltop village with some buildings dating back to the 1100s. It is on a very quiet “street” steps away from the main square, cafes, restaurants and tapas bars. The apartment is on four floors allowing everybody to have their own space as needed. Three bedrooms with two washrooms … makes life easy, as we were a family of four. You drop your luggage 20 meters from your front door with free parking about 200 mètres away. Located in the heart of the Rioja a wine region, you are never far from some of the best wine in the world . In fact, you can walk to the nearest Bodega right in the village!!! If visiting the Rioja region, I recommend Leigham’s Number 8 as your home base.

Super spot, close to the beach and not far from the center of Sopela! When we were there there was quite a bit of parking, so that was cool. I would recommend.

It’s a good sleep there, apartments decorated very new.have all the appliances for cooking.

Expectations more than exceeded. Pilar was very attentive and took care of every detail. The place is great, well connected to the city center, safe and also with incredible lighting, warmth and cleanliness. I was there for a week and I wanted to extend my stay. I recommend it 100% I would definitely go back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Josu’s apartment. It’s beautifully decorated, spacious, and equipped with everything you might need — we especially appreciated the dryer, vacuum cleaner, dishwasher, and iron. It truly felt like home. The location is also fantastic: it took us about 20 minutes to walk to both the city center and the old town. There's a large park just a few minutes away, which was perfect for our dog. A great supermarket is right around the corner, and there’s an entrance to an underground train line in the next building - super convenient for getting into the city. Parking was a bit tricky to find at first, but we managed just fine. There is also an option of paid parking nearby, which is helpful if you prefer something a bit easier :) Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for more. We also accidentally left a jacket behind while checking out and Josu was incredibly kind and responsive in helping us get it back.❤️

Thank you for sharing your cosy chalet. We loved our stay and hope to return one day. The pool was great and we loved our local walks. Our bikes were securely parked which was reassuring. And we really appreciated the use of laundry facilities. We even loved the company of our new dog friend.

The contact with Denise was very pleasant and friendly. The information was always clear and understandable. The apartment was clean, very well maintained and cozy. The old town was easily accessible on foot, but there was also a bus right in front of the house. There were also plenty of parking spaces (P & R, but also the "blue" parking spaces could be used for free from 8 pm to 9 am. On weekends and public holidays, even all day for free.

Fabulous location and beautiful home. Only 5 minute walk from the amazingly beautiful beach with great surfing opportunities, 2 minutes to a supermarket, less than 10 min to a train station for day trips to San Sebastian. My parents, 2 kids, brother, husband and I each had sufficient space in this roomy, lovely apartment. We cooked a lot in the kitchen. We felt like we were staying in a loved family home with great character. Maria is such a responsive and helpful host.

Very nice apartment! Very quiet place. Host responds very quickly, very friendly. We moved to the center of Bilbao by subway, I think it's the best, punctual, you get to the historic center in 30 minutes. We left the car parked on the street near the apartment. Very comfortable bed. Kitchen with dishes for cooking and so on. Highly recommended!!
