Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bath County

Awesome spot for a stay at RRG! This charming spot was ideal for a couple, walking distance to good coffee and a bar, and no more than a 15 minute drive to any trail we wanted to hit! I’d book again!

THIS spot is a GEM! It's peaceful & beautiful & quaint,... There simply isn't enough space to type all of the applicable adjectives I would like to use. Above all else, I was appreciative of the sense of seclusion. Sherri & Caleb (the hosts) are excellent at making sure their guests know they are accessible & available while affording their guests privacy. Also, the Guest House is something right out of a Better Homes & Garden Magazine! I SWEAR! The working garden; and the PLANTS! The hardwood floors & countertops! The decor! EVERYTHING! ALL OF IT!!! Nice getaway for a couple. I would recommend it to anyone. This place was nice and clean with a 20 minute drive to town for food. Perfect 👌.

The place was perfect! We were there for my birthday and she even left a little birthday card! Great beds, very relaxing porch… amazing hot tub and wonderful kitchen. Margo and Jim have thought of everything. We picked up a nail on the way and woke up to a flat tire. Margo communicated well and Jim came and helped us get the tire repaired!! They were so kind. Loved hiking to Sky Bridge, kayaking the red river and relaxing at this house!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The home was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained, with everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The setting was peaceful and scenic—perfect for a getaway. One thing to note: the roads leading to the house are a bit winding, so just be prepared for that if you're arriving at night or in less-than-ideal weather. That said, it was absolutely worth it once I arrived. The real highlight of the stay was the hosts. They were incredibly welcoming, responsive, and thoughtful throughout—from helpful local tips to making sure I had everything I needed. Their hospitality really made the experience special. Despite the curvy drive, I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and charming escape. Thank you for being such fantastic hosts!

I cannot say enough good things about Misfit Farm! The location was so serene, the movie room was awesome for our family movie night, and the garden tub was so relaxing. But our favorite part was getting to meet all the animals on the farm! Tim let my seven-year-old son feed the goats and let me bottle-feed Buttercup, the baby cow. Our favorite farm friends were Rusty, the bull and Shadow, the cat - so friendly! We sipped tea on the front porch at night while we watched fireflies, and then we got a heavenly night's sleep on the comfy beds. This place is amazing - we will definitely be back.

We came to The Red just to enjoy the outdoors and the sport of climbing. The weather almost made us miss out on the whole week but Jim helped us make the decision of coming anyways. Since he lives close by to give us a better weather and area report. The house provided activities too for the kids. They loved the pool table and hot tub.

You can tell that Allen is dedicated to the house and he is very helpful in communicating and helping to solve problems.The house is in a beautiful environment and not too far from the surrounding attractions.

We had such a good time at this apartment. Lots to do within 15 minutes drive. Found everything we could've need in the apartment while we stay here. She takes care of every details and was very responsive.

This is a great spot right through Nada tunnel with a sweet family of hosts. We love supporting family businesses and air BNBs which have live in hosts and it’s clear they’re running this place themselves! Glad to find this cozy space convenient to everything we need to access in the Red.

Wonderful stay in this comfortable studio. I was only there for the night. I would definitely stay here again when in the area.

There are three things I am looking for when I choose a place to stay on vacation and this place checked every box! 1. LOCATION! This place is in a perfect location. It is close to a highway, but I never heard any traffic noise. What I absolutely loved about the location is that we were not more than 20-30 minutes from any hikes wanted to do or restaurants we wanted to visit, but it still feels quiet and set apart. Also loved the coffee/ice cream shop 1 minute down the road. Visited it every day! 2. Easy parking - Several years back I rented a place that was nearly impossible to get to so this was important to me. There are no steep hills or narrow roads in or out of the apartment. Parking is right by the front door. Super easy in and super easy out. Perfect. 3. As described - I have also been burned in the past by finding a place much different than pictured. Not here. This was exactly as expected if not better. I would 100% rent again. Hoping to return someday with my sister!

Scott's place is very clean and very comfortable. A short distance from beautiful downtown Mt. Sterling and close to great restaurants, grocery stores, and the freeway, if you are looking for a place while visiting the area, check out Scott's place. It is very conveniently located and Scott is a very responsive host. The apartment has all the amenities you need for a short or long stay. Highly recommended!

Cozy place to stay! Coffee house is amazing downstairs if you are staying during week days, they are closed on weekends.

We had one issue with a bed and she immediately responded and brought another option I didn't comb through the listing but having cooking oil and a mixing bowl would have been nice kitchen has pots and pans silverware salt pepper and cups, plates and cereal bowls. Over all the location is beautiful the host told us it use to be a golf course. Would 100% stay again

Visited our son at Morehead State University. Spent a day hiking around Cave Run Lake and one just hanging out and playing games at the cabin and grilling. Perfect location and room to sleep the entire family. We had a wonderful stay.

We stayed for Memorial Day weekend and had an absolute blast! Terry's place is not only beautiful inside, it is so nice and peaceful for a little getaway. We were able to grill out and sit around the fire pit while enjoying the outdoors. He was so responsive to any question or request, which was so helpful. If we're ever back in the area we will definitely stay here again!

Place was exactly as described. Would stay again. Host was super responsive to any questions. Not far from the lake. Shower and bath house were perfectly clean and hot water. One of the best bath houses we used. Perfect little weekend stay for a couple or fishing buddies. We were at the lake within 3 minutes. Will stay again. Had enough room for our 18 foot boat and hook up to charge.

Great little stay put in morehead kentucky with lots of nice local hiking trails and parks to visit. The Cabin was a perfect cozy get away for the week with everything completely accommodated for. Will definitely be looking to stay again if we get the chance.

Stayed in Cabin 3 for a week in October 24. The cabins and property are extremely clean and in excellent condition. Lawn is maintained nicely. There is a fire ring with chairs waiting for you! Paved road and designated parking space / area. Cabin looks exactly like it does in all of the pictures. There are no stairs / steps to Cabin 3 which makes it really nice if you have mobility issues. Squirrells and birds abound in the peaceful quiet area. It is at the beginning of a dead end street so there isn't much traffic or noise. There isn't a dresser or closet here nor any storage / counter space in the bathroom - so just be aware of that. Futon was comfortable to sleep on and so was the bed. Elliotts Pizza (turn right onto 801 and then right on 60 at the roundabout and it's on your left} is close, priced right and delicious! Kitchen was well equipped with the basics. Cabin is competitively priced for the area. Owners are helpful and easy to communicate with.

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for and we enjoyed our stay. It was close to both the lake and Morehead State, which is why we were in town (graduation). Everything in the cabin was orderly, clean, and what we expected based on the listing. Communication was great, check-in was easy, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. We liked the knotty pine wood walls and enjoyed the cabin feel. All in all, it was a great experience, and if we're ever in the area again, we will definitely check to see if this property is available! Thank you for a smooth stay!

Perfect for everyone. Only a few short miles from town if you forgot something. Very close to tons of outdoor activities. Exceptional host. Definitely would recommend to anyone
