Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Bathgate

We had another highly enjoyable weekend at Swallows Nest, our 2nd short stay at this very peaceful and comfortable property. A home from home, in very beautiful and special surroundings. Already arranging our 3rd visit … :) Highly recommend for a family or couple. Thank you both!

Fantastic spot! Incredibly convenient location very close to the subway. It was really easy to navigate around the city. Comfortable beds. Great, clean bathrooms with a lovely rainfall shower. Big windows with lots of light. Could not recommend more highly!

L appartamento è ampio e spazioso, molto pulito, ha tutto il necessario , la cucina è ben allestita, il secondo bagno un po’ piccolo ma complessivamente una casa molto accogliente in una zona residenziale estremamente tranquilla e ben servita dai mezzi di trasporto per raggiungere velocemente ogni parte della città.la mia valutazione e assolutamente positiva!

This is a small flat that is completely updated. The host is PHENOMENAL! Genuinely concerned about your stay and tries to make everything convenient and pleasant. We stayed here with our daughter and her boyfriend. Apartment is extremely well appointed! Only downsides are the space is small / a bit tight for 4 adults. 3 minute walk from rail station is a plus, but front door and entrance are kind of grim. Apartment is one flight up and SO much nicer than the entrance - do not be discouraged!!!

Fantastic accommodation in a little seaside town. The apartment is a really good size for two people, it was really clean and comfortable with everything we needed for a long weekend. The location was nice and quiet and although on the high street, it was away from any of the usual centre of town noise, there were loads of car parking available and we managed to park right outside every time. The apartment is on the first floor and you can overlook the Main Street and car parks, so your car is always in sight but the surrounding area did feel safe. One of the positives of the area is the proximity to the train station which takes you directly into Edinburgh, the town has a few good eating options and I found some great little walks. Jo our host was fantastic in communication, had great local tips posted throughout the apartment and is really friendly and easy to communicate with. Overall no complaints and we would definitively stay again.

Victor and Aaron's apartment was exactly as listed. It's located in a lovely estate, in the bowl of a quiet court and very private. The apartment was immaculate and provided everything we needed, plus more. Aaron's responses to my messages were timely and at times almost immediate. The location was perfect for our needs. It is a five minute casual walk to a large supermarket and bus stop, with the bus trip into Edinburgh CBD around 20 minutes and occasionally only up to 30 minutes at peak times. The apartment was extremely comfortable and welcoming and the little extras were much appreciated. I highly recommend Victor and Aaron as hosts and their apartment as top rate.

Martin is a wonderful host! So kind and knowledgeable. He provided so many great recommendations and took the time to explain how everything worked in the apartment. The apartment was clean and well-appointed. It had everything I needed to feel right at home including breakfast foods which was such a nice touch. And the shower is amazing, best I’ve had in an Airbnb. The apartment is in the perfect location for exploring both Old & New Town as well as close to public transportation. It was a great stay!

Ali’s and Katy’s flat is great, it has everything you need for a short break. The area was very quiet, and it was really quick and easy to access the city centre via public transport. We used the underground parking, which was perfect, it can be difficult to find places with parking. Ali was communicative throughout our stay. We’d happily stay in the flat again :)

Super rapport qualité/prix de la maison. Celle-ci est très fonctionnelle, et parfaite pour 3 couples. L'espace est suffisamment grand, on y trouve tout ce qui est utile. Logement que je recommande sans aucune hésitation.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Karen. La maison est spacieuse, nous étions six et nous ne nous sommes pas du tout senti à l'étroit. Un bel endroit pour visiter la région. Merci ! Tout était parfait !

Duncan was a most friendly and communicative host. The photos do not adequately represent the beauty and serenity of the area. The home is beautifully decorated. Every need one might have was met. The kitchen was perfect for cooking up a feast. And, the offer for a scotch tasting was an added perk. So sorry we didn’t get the opportunity to meet Duncan.

Second time at Shiel and thoroughly enjoyed the stay once again. Beautiful setting and area, a short drive from neighboring towns if you need to buy supplies. The house has seen fantastic renovations since our last visit. The house is perfect for any large group that are looking for catch ups or family reunions. Highly recommended!

What an incredible place! Very spacious and immaculate inside. It has everything you need. The bed is so comfortable and the outside space is brilliant Just loved everything about and will be booking again very soon and can’t recommend it enough! Thank you Laura

Georgina’s place was really beautiful- it’s like an interior decorator had been at work! Just lovely. Every part of the cottage was stunning. Massive, well appointed kitchen, sitting room like something from a magazine and two beautiful bedrooms with very large en suite bathrooms. Again, beautifully decorated- really felt like a very up market boutique hotel. My sister said it was the best Airbnb she’d ever stayed in. Really lovely countryside all around and a great place to use as a base for our long walks. The fact you can bring your dog is so great. Close enough to Aldi to stock up but secluded enough to feel rural. Georgina was very helpful - had left milk, bread, eggs, jam etc for us. Such a lovely touch. I’d love to stay here again.

Izzy's home is a lovely retreat. It is in a very quiet location, convenient for everything and within walking distance of a Morrisons Superstore. A few minutes drive from the railway station with free parking and with frequent services into the centre of Edinburgh. It has everything you need, including a washing machine and tumble dryer. The internet is reliable and very fast. We had a very comfortable stay and would certainly stay there again.

Cannot recommend this place enough - spacious, homely, beautifully decorated, clean, lovely rooms. As for Marie, she was lovely - an absolutely fantastic host, super friendly, went out of her way to help, was very flexible, and communicated superbly. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Apartment was a perfect stopover. Really clean and well equipped. Much better value than local hotels. Handy having the enclosed garden.

Christine was very accommodating and an excellent host. The location was phenomenal and we had milk for tea! Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our two night stay here. The unit is so clean and well put together, the beds were the most comfortable we have slept in for our whole trip. Lovely touches with some supplies left for us and having the use of a washing machine was also another big tick. The location is amazing, right in the middle of it all, walking distance to everything. We wished that we could have stayed longer to take in all the sites properly. We hope to return one day.

Stayed for week on a business trip to Edinburgh. The apartment was great for this but equally would've been happy to have stayed here on leisure trip to Edinburgh. Would definitely book again .

If you are looking for somewhere to stay between Glasgow and Edinburgh and with plenty to do nearby look no further. The flat is beautifully appointed and with a fine kitchen and an excellent over bath shower. An example of Air BnB at its best. John spent some time introducing us to his property and he provided plenty of information on things to do.

We were very pleased. The apartment was very nice and super clean. It was also within walking distance of many things we wanted to see in Edinburgh. Gintare was very responsive to any questions I had!

We spent two nights at The Butler's Basement for my husband's birthday and it was an ideal base. We did have an issue getting in as the lockbox didn't work, but her son came down and resolved the issue. The apartment was very clean and in a great area - some lovely bars and restaurants that we preferred to spend time in, more than the busier side of Edinburgh. Gemma was very responsive to my messages and we also had a bottle of fizz in the fridge as well as some short bread and chocolate. It might be an idea to put a small bottle of milk in the fridge, as we did have tea and coffee provided but didn't want to buy a whole pint of milk to make a couple of drinks. However it certainly wasn't an issue that would stop us staying again!

The apartment/townhouse is beautifully decorated in period style. It is walkable from the train station and is well located close to restaurants and tourist attractions. Located on the third floor, there are multiple stairs which would not suit if you have heavy bags or physical injuries. The bed is comfortable and everything required is available. The apartment is clean and cosy. The host, Andrew is easy to communicate with and answers queries quickly. Nothing is too much trouble. We would certainly stay here again.
