Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Beacon

Overall a perfect place to crash for a night or two when in the area. It was quiet and clean. Our only issue was the bed- it’s very soft so of that’s not for you, you may not get a good night’s rest. But mainly the sides are somewhat sloped so I would start to fall toward the floor unless I pushed myself way back into the center. This may not be an issue for a single person, but for two it was. Otherwise a great spot!

We loved our stay at this charming Beacon home! The space was spotless and perfectly quaint, with plenty of room for our group of five so we never felt cramped. Its location was ideal—just a pleasant walk to Beacon’s restaurants, shops, and entertainment. The host was wonderfully responsive and helpful from booking through checkout. We couldn’t have asked for more and would happily stay here again—highly recommend!

Sahir’s place is exactly as described and matches the photos perfectly. Even though it rained during our stay, we still had a fun and relaxing weekend — including our 5-month-old baby and our dog! Everything was super clean, and I loved that it wasn’t too far from NYC or North Jersey.

Even better than the pictures! This was one of our favorite Airbnb experiences, super cute and eclectic house. We loved the style, the bathrooms made me want to renovate my own, and the beds were too comfortable if that’s possible lol. Perfect for vacation. The house was centrally located to the airport and the Bible museums and printery we booked to tour. Overall, we had just a lovely stay and cannot wait to go back!

Spent a great few days away with my boyfriend to visit the town we met in. We had a lovely time reconnecting with friends and visiting restaurants and stores we are fond of. The house was very cozy and so cute! Made me feel like I was home.

We had an excellent stay in Cornwall-on-Hudson. This airbnb is comfortable, clean, and the hosts are so easy to communicate with! They really went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay and I would highly recommend staying here. We also arrived during a major heatwave, but the air-conditioning kept us cool all weekend.

James&Kelly’s place was a lovely stay!

Our stay was pleasant and soothing. Kathie was very responsive to any concerns and personally ensured they were addressed. The location of the house added a beautiful charm to the overall experience. She even arranged a bassinet for our 2-month-old after the booking, which made our stay much more convenient. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Suggestions: Since Kathie is environmentally conscious, one suggestion would be to consider installing a bidet or jet spray in the bathroom to help reduce toilet paper usage. Thank you

Miryan’s place is the perfect location for exploring Beacon and the surrounding Hudson River Valley. From the front door, you can walk to all that Beacon has to offer including restaurants and shops, but also hiking trails. The apartment is very peaceful and quiet, but just a short walk to the hustle and bustle of Main Street. The apartment itself surpassed our expectations —- especially the kitchen, which is stocked with everything you might need to cook a meal as well as a nice big table to gather round. I would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful weekend getaway. Location could not be more convenient- near the train, the river, and right on Main Street with access to so many great things to do. The place itself was lovely and the host provided fantastic recommendations in the area. Would love to come back for another visit.

Katherine’s place is absolutely beautiful! It’s in the center of town so it’s very walkable but peaceful at the same. You can’t ask for a cozier place to spend your time in Kingston!

A beautiful place that has been thoroughly and lovingly rebuilt by the owners. Really cozy house and a great location for doing things in town and exploring the valley.

Agnieszka was easy to work with, and a very considerate host. The condo was perfect for us. We were especially delighted to discover a standard queen bed in a separate little bedroom, in addition to the living room sofa bed pictured on the Airbnb site. Everything we needed was available and easy to find in this thoughtfully equipped apartment. The setting is quiet and lovely. From our private balcony vantage point the nearby pool and pickleball courts appeared to be well maintained. If we have the opportunity to return to the Catskills/Windham NY area, we will definitely hope to book this condo again.

Everything was exactly as was stated and it met the expectations and more. Would recommend anyone to stay and if I ever return will definitely rebook.

Cozy apartment, walking distance from the water front. Had a great weekend getaway.

It is a great location, with plenty of things to do in the immediate vicinity. The unit was quiet, clean, comfortable, and provided everything I needed for a week long stay. The owner was very responsive to any query, and I did not have any issues with the unit during my stay. I'd work with Henry again for a future stay in Vernon, NJ.

Not big on writing reviews, but had no issues at all with anything associated with this booking. The room was clean, access was easy and everything stayed in the welcome package was perfect.

Gerry’s place was a great, quiet stay for us. Close by to Kaaterskill and many other Catskill mountain attractions. Gerry was great at communicating and went out of his way to be helpful with our checkout procedures. I would definitely stay here again!
