Saltwell Cottage Seahouses

Available from Monday 4th July 2022 Gorgeous fully renovated detached cottage in the heart of the bustling seaside village of Seahouses. The property has undergone extensive renovation to provide a stylish, luxury four bedroom, four bathroom cottage with sunny gardens to the front and rear. A spacious open plan living, dining, kitchen with bi fold doors leading on to the garden with sunny patio, provides the ideal sociable living space for a holiday with family or friends. At Saltwell Cottage, there are four bedrooms, three king size with en-suite bathrooms and a twin (full size adult singles) which has use of the family bathroom together with free standing bath and walk in shower. There is off street parking for up to three cars. The cottage is very well located; only a short five minutes walk down the main street or the Heritage Path to the beautiful beaches of Seahouses and its bustling harbour. The cottage is close to the village shops, delis, cafes, pubs, restaurants and club and of course Seahouses' many award winning fish and chip shops! Some of the beautiful villages of the north Northumberland coast are just a few miles away. Both Bamburgh and Beadnell are less than three miles in either direction and are accessible by foot along a sealed path. The town of Alnwick, with its 'Harry Potter' castle and stunning Alnwick Gardens is only a 20 minute drive and the glorious Cheviot Hills can be easily reached from the cottage. Or if you just want to stay put, Seahouses has loads to offer from boat trips to the Farne Islands, crabbing on the harbour, boarding in the dunes to crazy golf and amusements. Topped off with some popular bars and restaurants. Golf enthusiasts will love Seahouses golf club, enviably positioned on the links overlooking the Farne Islands. Do Water Sports From a Modern Beach House With a Hot Tub

Awaken in a handcrafted driftwood bed refreshed and ready for a day at the seaside. The main floor has double-height ceilings and large windows where light cascades in to illuminate a modern, airy space. Open sliding doors to let in fresh ocean air. Sand Dancer was built in 2017 and shares communal grassy areas with its neighbours. There’s a South facing private deck with a hot tub. Most of the neighbours are also holiday homes; respecting each other’s space is important. A car is recommended to access the area’s places of interest, although trains & buses run locally too. A visitor folder gives lots more information on outings. Although we live some distance from the house, we are available by phone. We also have local support from our excellent house keeping team. The house is in Beadnell, an unspoilt fishing village on the Northumbrian coast, close to the shops in Seahouses. Bottlenose dolphins are often seen during boat trips. The area is rich in imposing castles, Neolithic rock art, and outdoor activities. The best way to see as much as possible & make the most of your visit, is by car. Sky TV full package is provided Smart TV. Cycles to be kept in the secure outside store. No cycles in the house. Hot tub to be used as guests’ folder explains. (Not to be used with fake tan) Private deck area is not suitable for disposable BBQs as they would damage it (made from recycled materials). However, the beach or paved area is perfect for them! Please do not allow children to use the smart lock. Repeated incorrect entries will disable it for a time & can set off the tamper alarm. A basket of logs is provided & additional logs may be bought in Seahouses or The Veg Hut, Drythrottle Cottage, Charlton Mires NE66 2TJ (07834409422).
