This snug, grass-roofed eco-cabin offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a warm Irish welcome, mountain walks on the Beara Way or snorkelling through nearby reefs. Sample local cheeses, lamb, fish and seafood or stoke up the wood-burning stove, have a glass of wine and and savour the peace and tranquillity! Take it easy at this unique, tranquil and totally private getaway. Set on 17 acres of rural unspoilt wilderness. The property has a private lake, stunning views undestrubed by modern life and urban lighting. Ballyrisode beach is a 5 minutes drive away along with numberous walking trials in the area one of which is located at the foot of the property. Schull, a lively little fishing village with shops, restuarants and pubs, is only a 5 minute drive away. This unique and tranquil getaway.

Get away from it all and come to our relaxing haven by the sea. Enjoy sitting out while having your breakfast (if the weather allows) and all you will hear is the sound of the waves and the birds. Stroll down to the bottom of the garden where you can pop in for a dip or enjoy a longer swim. Bring your own kayaks, or explore the area on bikes whatever you fancy. Go kayaking with seals in adrigole, picnic on the beach, or take long winter strolls! Or maybe just watch Netflix and relax !

The Boatmakers Cabin

Delightful cosy cabin set at the base of Pine trees in the rear garden of our bed and breakfast property. 4 mins drive (15 mins walk) from Dzorgen Beara Buddhist and Meditation Centre and a 5 minute walk / clamber to the cliffs. Castletownbere Fishing town with pubs and restaurants is 8 mins drive one way and Allihies village with beach and pub grub 14 mins the other way. Fantastic area for walking and cycling. The cabin is self catering and a selection of evening meals are available.

The Loft.

This open-plan loft has everything you need in one cosy space: queen bed with memory foam mattress, full kitchen, lounge area, smart TV, fast Wi-Fi, and a bathroom with power shower. Located right in town, you’re steps from restaurants, pubs, and shops—perfect for exploring, though some road noise is to be expected. Private parking is included, so you can come and go with ease. After a day on the Beara Peninsula, return to your own bright, comfortable space to relax and recharge.
