I recently had the pleasure of staying at this sweet rustic cabin to catch up with an old friend, and it was an experience to remember. Nestled near the maskinongé river, the cabin offered the perfect blend of tranquility and charm with its warmly lit outdoor seating area and hot tub, which was undoubtedly a highlight of our stay. Soaking in the warm water while gazing at the stars made for a nice appreciation of the present moment. The cabin itself was cozy and well-equipped, featuring a teleprompter. Going through old DVDs and using the screen was a blast. The many vintage architecture magazines scattered around the cabin also made for interesting reads, and really added to the warm feel of the place. Overall, this cabin is a gem for anyone looking to unwind and disconnect to enjoy nature's beauty. Highly recommended!

Very nice and warm cottage. 3 functional bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen. We were there in the winter, and several ski centers nearby. Easily accessible grocery store. Nice view of the lake from the living room to relax at the end of the day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

I had a wonderful stay at Beth’s place! The space was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. It felt like a true home away from home. Beth was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful with all the little touches that made the stay even more enjoyable. The location was peaceful and conveniently located. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Ryan’s place was great to stay at. The neighborhood was beautiful and peaceful. The place was very clean and Ryan gave us privacy but was very responsive as well which was great. Parking was easy and very convenient. No complaints. Would come back.

My husband and I needed a relaxing getaway and this spot 100% met the mark. Area was quiet and on a dead and road so we didn’t even hear passing traffic. We frequently travel “off grid” and remote cottages and cabins through out the upper east coast and this was the most private we have come across. The cabin had everything we needed and all of the charm. The property was lovely, with walking paths and our Labrador could not have been happier. Of course the hot tub and sauna took relaxing to the next level. We are both looking forward to coming back!!

One of the few cottages to offer both enough bedrooms and beds for our 8 children in the basement, and a private space for parents upstairs. Located in a beautiful wooded environment, in the mountains, but still a few minutes' drive from many amenities and activities, it was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding anniversary with our family!

Absolutely wonderful chalet! This was our second stay at Philippe’s property, and once again, it exceeded all our expectations. The chalet is beautifully maintained, with every detail thoughtfully considered to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The cozy atmosphere, combined with the stunning views, makes it the perfect retreat. Philippe is a gracious and attentive host, always available to ensure everything runs smoothly. We had such a relaxing time, and we're already looking forward to our next visit. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful setting!

Sara and her mom are very easy-going hosts. I traveled with a friend and two dogs, and we all felt very welcomed. There's a small fenced in area on the roadside of the house, and tons of open farmland in the back -- both were great for letting the dogs out. Sara's parents are very quiet neighbors, but it was also nice to know they were nearby if anything came up. A 26-mile rail trail starts out of Richford, which is a five minute drive from the house.

We had a great stay at Rockhaven! What a beautiful spot with a magnificent sunset from the dock! We hope to go back next time we need a place to stay in the Lake Champlain area.

My friend and I stayed at this beautiful organic farm for a week, and it was absolutely lovely. The surroundings are incredibly peaceful and green—perfect for a restful getaway. The property is surrounded by nature and friendly farm animals. We brought our dogs and they enjoyed running and playing around the pond every night when we got back from our day out. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. It felt safe and well cared for. The hosts were warm, responsive, and very helpful whenever we reached out. Highly recommend it! Would definitely stay here again.

This chalet is amazing. It's truly shared from the host, filled with personal touch and fond memories. Even the old toys were preserved well, working well with batteries. The chalet is well stocked, equipped with modern convenience, electronic bidet, all sorts of video games etc. Location is private but not feeling isolated. The master bedroom has a big balcony with beautiful lake view. And the chickens, they are so cute. They gave us more than a dozen eggs. I guess we came at the right season. This is one of the best lake houses that we stayed. We highly recommend it!

Sarah was a phenomenal host. Incredibly quick responses, helpful, and was more than happy to help at any time of the day. I would definitely stay here again.

We could not have asked for a better place for our eclipse adventure. The two bedroom cabin was spotlessly clean, well-appointed, cute and plenty of space for the 4 of us. We loved being out in the woods and enjoyed our walks around the pond enormously. Easy to get to restaurants and other activities, but away from the hustle and bustle. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Not a thing to complain about, and would definitely recommend to anyone!

We can’t thank Lisa enough for sharing her home with us, even though our stay was fairly short. Lisa was a very gracious host, very responsive, and very friendly. The cottage (and backyard) looks like it’s from a postcard - very picturesque. The surroundings are extremely calm and relaxing. The entire home was well equipped with everything we needed (cleaning supplies, condiments, towels, kitchen utensils etc.) and very clean. The beds were super comfortable and the pillows even better. Also, having the pool clean and the water nice and warm was the cherry on top! We look forward to visiting Lisa’s home again, and fully take in what the area has to offer. Thank you very much Lisa!

Absolutely wonderful stay! As a family of five, we couldn't have asked for a better place. The unit was incredibly spacious, comfortable, and had such a warm, homey feel—it truly felt like a home away from home. The mountain view from the living room window was beautiful, a perfect backdrop for our mornings and evenings. Jeff, the host was exceptional—extremely responsive, thoughtful, and helpful throughout our stay. Every question or request was handled quickly and kindly, which made our experience stress-free and enjoyable. We had some wifi issues which took time to resolve but Jeff helped and made sure it is taken care of. The apartment was impressively well-equipped with everything we needed, clearly a lot of care went into preparing the space for guests. The location was perfect for us— surrounded by beautiful trails that we explored as a family. If you are into skiing, the ski tracks are short drive away. It was the ideal base for both adventure and relaxation. Highly recommended

Villa Casavant is an absolute dream. The house itself is larger than life and the suite rented offers a totally private, beautiful and spacious living area equipped with all you need. The building is very well maintained and changed minimally since it was built. It has original stained glass windows, incredibly detailed ceilings and the most charming staircases that frame into a heart. Francois and Christine are kind, proactive and helpful hosts. They are very respectful of boundaries and it’s possible you don’t even run into them during your stay- but if you do you must ask them about the houses long and exciting history, they are passionate about the preservation of such historic houses in the area and offer a lot local knowledge. Could not recommend enough- this place is a dream.

Le Baldwin was the perfect place for us to stay during Grand Prix weekend. We appreciated being within walking distance of the metro, but being a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown Montreal. The unit was clean, well stocked with towels and kitchen needs, and was very quiet. The neighborhood felt safe and the free street parking was a plus. Rosemarie was very friendly and responsive over messaging and gave us clear instructions on check-in, check-out, and when/where to move our car to avoid a ticket during street cleaning. Thank you for an awesome stay!

We had a great stay of more than 3 months, the apartment is spacious, very clean and very well equipped :) There is a bus stop 1 min walk away which was very convenient. Our host Bonnie was exceptional, very welcoming and always available. We recommend Bonnie without hesitation :) Lisa & Pierre
