We had a lovely time with our family! We were with 2 young children and my elderly father who cannot walk well (uses a walker). The house was perfectly designed to accommodate my father and had great living areas for us to spend time together. A very cozy, warm and welcoming home (with lots of amenities!). Yael is a very friendly, responsive host. We’d gladly come back for another winter or perhaps a summer stay! Thank you Yael!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Wilderkill Barn. Maria Cristina and William were exceptional hosts—warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our visit special. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The home was a haven, with a hot tub, sauna, pool, fire pit, pool table, and immersive sound and movie systems—all of which made our stay delightful despite the cold, dreary May weather. We can't thank them enough. ***That said, we feel it's necessary to address a serious issue with Airbnb itself that arose while booking this property, unrelated to the property itself. An unexpected tax was added after booking, and Airbnb has yet to provide a clear explanation. After years of loyalty, we were disappointed by their evasive and unhelpful customer support. This experience has made us reconsider using the platform in the future. We urge potential users to scrutinize all fees carefully and be aware that Airbnb’s support may be difficult to navigate if problems arise.***

We really enjoyed our time at Elizabeth Jane's place. The home is spacious and quaint, with nice furnishings, a tasteful colonial feel and easy access to downtown Litchfield and the Berkshires. The bucolic setting is lovely - scenic, relaxing and peaceful.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! The location is close to plenty to do and great dining but also feels very private. The home is absolutely beautiful as pictured. The pool was a real treat to have and half of the pool is a shallow end which was a bonus for us traveling with a child. The beds are very comfortable which is always a huge plus when traveling. The hosts were responsive with any questions that came up. We would happily stay again!

Home is very beautiful. Jim and Susan were very responsive when needed we felt right at home everything was right at our fingertips when needed. We came for a weekend girls getaway and this home helped us achieve that peace we needed. Very spacious we will be back again.

the best stocked Airbnb kitchen I've ever been too if you like to cook. the house is huge but it's only really 2 bedrooms so it's kind of a funny set up as it feels like it can handle bigger group. the cots are really just for emergencies...they are really thin. nice outdoor seating but I wish it would also have dinning room table outside.. the whole house was pieceful and quiet. definitely private with occasional car driving by

Our family had an AMAZING stay in this cottage. It was clean and comfortable, and just what we were looking for. A quiet spot where we could enjoy fishing, kayaking, biking, etc with the comforts of home. Because of all the amenities offered, we didn’t have to pack too much which is always a bonus! We are already talking about our next visit 😊

I was planning on my proposal and wanted somewhere special. The window house was exactly that. Private, peaceful, super clean, amazing views and wildlife. Taylor and Marla were EXTREMELY good at communicating and getting back in a timely manner. If you and your significant other are looking to get away, this is the place. It’s sublime.

This location was amazing. The lake is peaceful and a perfect place to relax. The house is amazing and the hosts thought of every single need we might have. It was a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful time and this house is completely amazing. There is absolutely nothing missing! When Tiffany said, "all you need to bring are clothes" she wasn't joking. The person who designed the house was a genius with the master bedroom on one side of the house, the 2nd bedroom on the other side and the 3rd on the 2nd floor. Privacy inside as well as outside. It was a hiking trip for the family and included Kennedy Park, Olivia Outlook and the Great Monument Mountain. After spending the day hiking, the hot tub, playing pool and watching a movie in the theater just ended a perfect day. We didn't realize how close we were to MA and it was bonus to explore Western Mass as well. Thank you Tiffany for sharing your home with us.

I was grateful I found this lovely, clean home with such a beautiful and well-appointed kitchen. The setting was peaceful and healing and the home itself offers a very calming and welcoming vibe right when you walk in the door. It *feels* like a home. The sunroom was my favorite space and I did some work from there while I watched deer and wild turkeys wander past. Mitzi was a gracious host with excellent and clear communications. There were many thoughtful touches throughout (brand new sponge waiting for me in the kitchen!) the guidebook was detailed and helpful. I would welcome the opportunity to stay in Mitzi’s home again.

This was such a lovely country escape for us tired city kids. The pond was a beautiful backdrop for reading and drawing. We brought our binoculars and walked across to Dan B road, spotting gorgeous birds multiple times a day. Our host, Danielle, was extremely responsive and friendly. A fuse blew our second night there, and Danielle had an electrician out to fix it the next day so we could sleep with AC that night. One warning: if you're tall, there are some very low ceilings and doorways. My partner is 6'2 and hit his head repeatedly on the bathrooms' vaulted ceilings and the kitchen doorway. The house would be great for a big group, or a family with kids -- the playroom is delightful and the big, fun kitchen makes you want to fill with your friends and eat and talk for hours. We're very grateful for our quiet getaway there!

Very rustic, private, peaceful kind of like a camp but with air conditioning and excellent wifi. Bald eagle sat over the lake outside. Kayaks were fun. Tons of great hikes and historical things to see. Town of Great Barrington and Sheffield have great antiquing both high and low end. I would go back any time.

The location was peaceful and beautiful with great local restaurants, farms, and hiking. The reservoir was a nice amenity with the kayaks and canoe. The house was well maintained and comfortable with pretty views on the first floor. We enjoyed our stay

Great apartment close to downtown Great Barrington. In very quiet neighborhood. Very clean and well stocked. Really loved the well appointed front porch with wicker seating and table. Definitely recommend.
