Holiday rentals with a kayak in Becket

We had a wonderful stay at Allie's cottage on the lake! The home was just as described, super clean with more than everything we needed for a great stay! My husband loves to cook and the kitchen was beautifully stocked and organized. There is so much to do right at the house, we ended up spending most of our time enjoying the lake and the huge yard! Such a wonderful Airbnb with thoughtful touches (welcome basket), yard games and kayaks. So nice to feel right at home! We only wish we would have stayed longer! Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage on the gorgeous lake!

Mighty was a wonderful host, and the sweet cottage on the lake was just peaceful and fun. Every inch of the house has been decorated with care, and the feeling of waking up to look out over the lake is unbeatable. We enjoyed our time so much, and took home lavender sachets generously offered as a reminder of the experience. Highly recommend if you're looking for a beautiful, peaceful place to be in Western MA, with great proximity to the attractions of Amherst and Northampton. Don't miss the Montague Bookmill for used books and a cafe overlooking a rushing river--a treasure!

Paul's house was everything I needed for a quiet weekend with the kids. The house is cozy, easy to keep organized, and well lit. The view of the lake is the cherry on the cake. The backyard is huge, so my kids had plenty of time to play outside. The neighbors are very nice and quiet. I've never slept in a house as quiet as this one. Paul is very kind and helpful. I will definitely be back.

The location was peaceful and beautiful with great local restaurants, farms, and hiking. The reservoir was a nice amenity with the kayaks and canoe. The house was well maintained and comfortable with pretty views on the first floor. We enjoyed our stay

The house was even more beautiful and quaint than the photos. The weather was a bit chilly and they made sure the heat was on prior to our arrival. Caring, responsive, and helpful hosts. Definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this location during my daughter’s graduation from Bard College. The location has beautiful views of the lake and the layout of the property was perfect for the family to gather and celebrate, while also giving everyone the space for their own quiet time or rest. I would definitely recommend this location and hope to have the opportunity to stay again.

Beautiful location in Otis, right on the lake and so peaceful. The house is very spacious and easily accommodated our family ( 7 adults and 2 children). All the windows in the house provided great views of the lake, especially from the deck. Our host Nick was very responsive when we had questions or any concerns. Would be nice to come for a stay during the summer.

My son, his dog and I had a lovely weekend of hiking and hanging out. The accomodations were excellent and we were close to many hiking trails and about 20 minutes away from Westfield and 45 minutes away from Northampton. The house was very comfortable and functional. Great TV room for watching sports and movies. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Perfect for our needs.

Joan has crafted this Airbnb so thoughtfully. Everything here was carefully placed to foster a relaxing and convenient environment. Upon arrival, the host provided a wagon to take our things from car to house. Everything inside the house was clean, tidy, and well maintained. We were greeted with snacks that Joan had put out and a binder with instructions and local menus. The beds had bottles of water on the end tables and rolled towels that just gave a luxurious feel. Of the many Airbnbs that I have visited, this was the most well stocked. It almost felt like going into someone’s house. Most anything we needed or could’ve wanted was already provided. Joan was very accessible and so helpful! One of us left our hat behind on accident and she offered to mail it to us! The view was beautiful and kayaking on the lake was amazing. The kayaks, paddles and life jackets were provided! Let this be your sign to stay with Joan!! You will NOT regret it!!

Amazing place. Lisa & Steve's cottage made for an amazing weekend. We had pretty bad weather but it was still a great weekend. The lake is so peaceful and the set up of the cottage is perfect. The cottage has everything you need, as well as everything you didnt know you needed! We'll definitely be back. Ate at The Aviary, The Smokehouse & The Maker (Hudson) - all very different but incredible.

Excellent and beautiful location. Very scenic and tranquil. The location allows you to relax while still being in reach of everything. The unit was very well maintained and clean. All the Amenities of home without the chaos.

Beautiful location, comfortable rustic home with everything you need to cook and grill. Lots of stuff to do on the lake. Very serene. Charlene is super friendly and helpful. It was a really nice touch she provided a bottle of wine, juice, eggs, bagels and butter upon check in.

The cottage was easy to check into, clean, and very cozy. It was decorated for the holidays which was perfect for our weekend. We enjoyed the fireplace and the games in the cabin as well! I would consider coming back in the summer to enjoy the outdoor area and lake. Ann-Marie and Carl provided really helpful instructions on how to get to the house.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The hosts thought of everything and made us feel right at home. We could not have been more pleased and would highly recommend this property.

Loved the quick weekend getaway from the city! Wanted somewhere we could stretch out into.. which Ayren’s house fully is.. loved playing the many board games provided and watching movies in the late evenings.. plus a few walks down to the lake and drive to town which is less than 15 min away.. A very communicative host with clear instructions and well laid out amenities and basic kitchen condiments.. Thanks again for a great weekend !

It was a perfect price. With the ABNB it was double+. I would rather pay John more for the one night personally, than what I did. And have done twice. I have always left the place the same or better than I found it. I understand the cleaning fee, but kills single fathers like me for a 1 night trip. That being said. Walker cabin is great! Kayaks, all safety gear, fully outfitted down to toothpicks, brushes, floss, ect. You think you forgot it. It’s there. Baby monitors!

Beautiful house, perfect for our family retreat. After another host cancelled on us last minute, we found Brian's place and were very happy we did! Brian was very responsive to our needs, and was very helpful throughout the weekend. the kids loved the game room, we set a new record on the Pacman machine. We made s'mores on the front porch in rainy weather, and visited some of the local breweries nearby. We were very pleased with the home, and it was perfect for our long weekend.

Amazing cabin!! My third visit. Was there with friends for fishing and I love the cabin so much that I booked my anniversary weekend and my wife is also in love with the property. Relaxing Birding Fishing Kayaking Fire pit Romantic This place has it all! Book it now! You won’t regret it!

We had a great time here with our 9 month old baby. The pictures don’t do the house justice. Access to the lake for swimming and kayaking and the facilities (pools, beach, basket ball and tennis court) make this a great place for an active vacation. The house has everything you need to travel with a young child (toys, changing table, pack ‘n play and even black out shades). The towns of Athens and Coxsackie are a few minutes away and have decent food and drink options. We would love to come back!

This is the perfect cabin retreat. Beautiful property with incredible back porch views, stunning fireplace, creekside access, and gobbling turkeys in the distance. It was just what I was looking for to celebrate a birthday with friends. Secluded enough to feel private but close enough to a charming town for drinks and coffee. Jim was also super communicative and made it easy to settle in—he even gave me a heads up about the weather that weekend to make sure we were packed appropriately. I was considering a couple of places, and I’m so happy I chose this one. Highly recommend a visit. P.S. The heated floors are a really nice touch.

Staying at this lake house was peaceful and lovely -- the house is updated, so clean, right on the pond and great for a family. Christina is such a responsive host. We can't wait to come back!

Had a great stay here! Really enjoyed spending time in the lake, on the deck, and at the fire pit. Beds were pretty comfortable. As other reviews have noted, only one bedroom has a door and both have an opening into the downstairs so it isn’t the most private, but it worked fine for our stay. Would likely stay here again!
