We had a really nice stay at Nadia and John's cottage. The deck was fantastic, and the cottage was really clean and comfortable. The week went by too quickly.

We really enjoyed our stay for our 50th anniversary. beautiful surroundings and very relaxing time. the cottage had good amenities and we would recommend staying for a relaxing get away, for a peaceful time in the country side. John & Sally

Kim & Scott’s Honey Bear Cottage is a beautiful, peaceful escape surrounded by nature. The setting is incredibly serene, yet there’s lots to do both at the cottage and nearby. The space was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Kim & Scott were fantastic hosts—friendly, responsive, and made everything feel easy. It was the perfect spot for a getaway and we had an amazing time. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

Thanks for a great stay. We had everything we needed in the house with wonderful access to a lovely sandy beach. We enjoyed the use of the paddle boards to explore the expansive shoreline. The location is near some walking trails in the woods which our dog really enjoyed. The cottage was adjacent a public beach which was busy on the weekends, however nice and siren on the weekdays to sit and watch the sunrise. We would certainly recommend and stay again.

We had an amazing stay at the Mellow Yellow Cottage! We are a family of four and invited my parents. The Cottage was so clean, spacious and had a lot of personality. We all left happy and relaxed! The kitchen is renovated and had every appliance, dish and utensil we could have needed and more. We spent loads of time on the water and on the dock. I was grateful for the qty and variety of water “toys”. My 9 year old and 16 year old were kept busy. The fire pit was used every night as was the pool table. It was quiet and private and was the perfect tranquil escape for your family. It was nice to have grocery stores and restaurants within 15 -20 min. The visit to Kingston for a few hours was also enjoyable. Overall amazing stay, highly recommend for families of varying ages. Host was engaged and proactive.

Location was great. The place was as described. We had a good time. Kevin was also very responsive and fixed a small issue for us quickly upon arrival. Would recommend

It was a great place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Having a hot tub and fire pit by the water was great.

Kiara was a great host. Friendly approachable , attentive and proactive. Her home is lovely, the surroundings were beautiful and the docks were well maintained , which was a plus , as we brought our boat to explore the river and spent tons of time watching otters, eagles, herons, fish ( and fishermen floating by!) from the dock. The beds and sheets were luxurious, which was so very welcome as we stayed for two weeks. I read in the reviews about the “bonus goats” and chickens but truly didn’t recognize how important they are to encouraging relaxation !! Loved the whole experience. Thank you, thank you!

The Row Cottages are an absolute gem! I’m so glad we found them - we will certainly be return guests. Very inviting and peaceful. Gives one the chance to reconnect and get priorities in order. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Becky and Josh, and hugs to the most awesome Golden Retriever ever, I believe his name is Teddy. He joined my husband in the lake for swim and was very entertaining.

great spot to relax and enjoy nature. cell reception is super spotty however the scenery and lake makes up for it. we recommend and we will certainly return next year!!

It is a beautiful place and just like the pictures wonderful owners and were very open to our special needs. Open communications and they check in to see if there is anything else you need or if something is missing. Great location and private. We have referred this location to other members of our family and will look and see if it is available the next time we come this way

We were a group of lifelong friends up for a long weekend and this place was just an amazing backdrop for a long overdue reunion. The space was impeccable, the lot was beautiful and the wood-powered sauna & hot tub were well-loved. Everything was as described -- the first person that arrived simply said "this place is incredible." The manager was super responsive and really friendly and helpful as we figured out the sauna. We've been home and hour and are already talking of booking May 2026 ... now. The place is really pretty, well-appointed and we were thrilled with the weekend.

This cottage was super cute, squeaky clean and the location was beautiful. The pictures really don't do it justice. I would highly recommend it and would rent it again in a heartbeat.

This place was everything we wanted and more. Beautiful scenery, cozy place, private and quiet. The host was very easy to reach and very helpful. We had a small little problem upon our arrival about a breaker fuse being tripped. She promptly replied and help us resolve the issue and was quick to offer additional assistance if we need be. Our kids enjoyed the play structure, pedalboat and swimming in the private lake. I would highly recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our extended stay here this winter. The cottage is much larger than we expected with two full bathrooms and two large bedrooms that are nicely separated, with a large kitchen space. The pool table provided extra fun for family and friends on cold snowy days. The views out to the river are lovely (even in the winter). The property was very quiet and private making for a relaxing and peaceful escape. The hosts were great to deal with, responded quickly and resolved any issues we had. Merrickville is a short drive away and a great spot to run for lunch or a few groceries. Highly recommend this property!

This is a lovely house in a beautiful location! Lots of things to do outside and fully equipped kitchen and large bedrooms inside. The only issue (and it's clearly stated in the description) but not having a washing machine was definitely a drawback. We enjoyed our time and could have stayed longer!

A wonderful cozy cottage, perfect place to relax! Amazing views of the lake which was also great to explore with the canoe. Hosts were very responsive and friendly, we truly had a great weekend getaway.

This was our 3rd time staying at Jennifer and Tom's beautiful cottage. It is a great location for day trips to Ottawa yet secluded enough to just relax. Fantastic hosts and lots of personal touches. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay! Aaron was super communicative and responded promptly to any questions we had. Both the cottage itself and surrounding area was beautiful. Definitely bring your bug spray, but cannot recommend this place enough!

John’s place is excellent! It’s really well kept and thoughtfully set up for essentials and everything in between. It’s a beautiful location- the private dock by the lake was the highlight of our trip. We stayed for 3 nights and we wished we had it longer. We miss it already and would love to be back.

We stayed for 3 nights and were very pleased with the place. Clean,well stocked with supplies,beds were fairly comfortable. Meghan was easy to communicate with and quickly responded to any questions. Would recommend to anyone to stay there if in the area. Thanks again!
