It was a place like more than a home. Feeling of residing in a resort. We liked very much. In future when ever we plan to visit this side we will see that we come and relax in the place

This house blew us away and we’ve stayed a lot of spaces. Honestly, it’s one of those rare places that’s actually better than the photos. Every room was so clean, and beautifully designed but still felt incredibly welcoming and comfortable. Our group of eight had tons of space to spread out and unwind. We only stayed three nights but instantly wished we’d booked the whole week. It’s the perfect distance for all the day trips we wanted to take. We explored Halifax, Peggy’s Cove and even Lunenburg and Wolfville (loved this place, it’s so cute!). I mean then there’s the games room, lake, pool and water toys. If you're on the fence—don’t be. I would highly recommend to anyone to book this house and book longer than you think. We’ll absolutely be back, and next time we’re staying for the week!

I booked CJ’s place last minute for member of our company’s upper management team. He went above and beyond for us given the tight timeline, was very attentive, provided clear instructions and was more than willing to help with unforeseen circumstances. My team had nothing but phenomenal things to stay about not only the property, but the property owner as well. We give a glowing recommendation for anyone interested in this property in the future

Beautiful stay! The lake was fairly accessible, unfortunately the pool was out of service but the host kindly informed us before our stay and gave us options for refund. Happy we decided to stay, as it is a beautiful spot by the lake!

Another Great Stay at The Land Yacht! This was our second time staying at The Land Yacht, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. They have everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. The indoor pool was amazing, and the views of the ocean are absolutely breathtaking. One of our favorite moments was reading a book in the solarium while listening to the rain—pure bliss. The peaceful atmosphere, thoughtful amenities, and beautiful setting make this a truly special place. We can’t wait to return again!

The house is beautiful, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms for a big group. Beautiful kitchen and dining area. We were expecting the pool to be open, but were informed the day before that it was not ready yet, which was unfortunate. There was still a hot tub, which was nice. Waterfront is great. Location is very private, but further than expected from Halifax. Overall awesome place, would recommend. Priced as expected for the size of house.

We stayed with as a family of 4 for two nights - our 2 little girls loved the comfiness and coziness of Kelly's place - full of fluffy pillows, blankets, and lots of little places to snuggle in. There was a nice big kitchen to cook in, and the hot tub and pool were awesome. We would stay here again :)

We had a wonderful stay on Chocolate Lake at Hiromi's property. We loved waking up each morning and having tea and coffee whilst looking out over the lake. The property is very stylishly designed and comfortable, and a perfect place from which to explore Halifax, Peggy's Cove and Lunenberg. We were unable to figure out the automatic blinds and lights as the tablet apps were not working. A minor inconvenience in an otherwise fantastic stay!

The place was very organized and welcoming. It had everything we could need, it was in a very clean condition, and very well equipped. There was a guide with things to do and places for food. One thing to keep in mind is that there is an open roof so id recommend bringing eye masks. It was fun watching the wild life out the window.

From the moment we arrived at this charming cottage, we were blown away by the breathtaking view. It made every sunrise and sunset feel magical. The amenities were equally impressive. The cottage was clean, and beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we needed - from a fully stocked kitchen to linens and even games for a rainy day. The location was fantastic, as we were just minutes away from local grocery stores and a mix of eateries - perfect for grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a leisurely dinner. Plus, the area is packed with sightseeing adventures and historic landmarks to hidden gems we discovered along the way. This place felt like home away from home and we can’t wait to go back again!

We loved our stay at this unique Bauhaus-style home in a quiet Halifax neighbourhood. It was stylish, spotless, and perfectly located—close to great restaurants, breweries, and beautiful parks. Brittany was super helpful at check-in and gave us some excellent local recommendations that really added to our experience. A peaceful base with easy access to everything we wanted to explore!

We had a wonderful stay at Francois’s house! The place was quiet, spotless, and the beds were very comfortable — perfect for a restful stay. Francios was a fantastic host: welcoming, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

A lovely comfortable well equipped place. Only complaint was that the cleaners forgot to clean under the beds! Aldo no instructions to put on the heating unit.

A beautiful home, with creatively designed renovations. Lots to do in the area and amazing restaurants and breweries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Colin's and hope to stay again when visiting Halifax!

We're in Halifax all the time for swimming and constantly staying in Air BnBs. This is probably my new favorite. It was immaculately clean, comfortable and better stocked (coffee, dishes, cookware, etc.) than any other place we've stayed. 100% recommended!

A lovely home and wonderful place to spend time with family. The seaside bedroom was heaven with the sound of the surf when weather allowed for open windows! Well-appointed kitchen, lovely patio, and a great fire pit! Easy access to the rails-to-trails line which we made good use of during our stay.

We loved our stay at Tracey and Aahil’s place! It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The backyard was majestic - if only it had of been a bit warmer and sunnier to sit out and enjoy. Hoping we can stay again when we visit the area.

My mum and I had a truly wonderful stay here! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The space is not only beautiful and cozy but also thoughtfully arranged and sparkling clean. Every little detail, from the well equipped kitchen to the peaceful surroundings made our stay comfortable and memorable. Communication with Alicia & Ardalan was excellent from start to finish, always warm, responsive, and incredibly helpful. Randy’s property is absolutely stunning and super private. It had everything I needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of my crazy life. He brought fresh firewood over and showed me how to use the fireplace. The added touches of his beautifully designed furniture and decor just made the whole home feel so cozy and unique. I love that he displayed some beautiful art from local artists as well. I made good use of the sauna and hot tub. Everything was immaculate and clean. I would highly suggest booking Randy’s spot - if you can find an opening in their very busy calendar! One thing to note is that it is not close to restaurants but that did not bother me as I brought my own food and had the option to cook, which I prefer! There’s also filtered water for drinking in the kitchen. Such an elevated but also rustic home away from home.

This place was pure magic! I stayed for a night with three girlfriends and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect getaway. The ocean view is absolutely breathtaking, and the hot tub and sauna took the whole experience to the next level. Every detail felt thoughtful and relaxing. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the space was spotless, stylish, and so welcoming. We felt instantly at ease and didn’t want to leave. Highly, highly recommend—an absolute gem!

Hi Shelagh, you have a great place perfectly located to walk around Halifax into downtown or to Dal or out to Point Pleasant Park. The accommodation was spotless and very well equipped. It was easy to drive to from Halifax airport with Google maps and there was a convenient parking spot out back. it also had the most comfortable mattress i have slept in for quite some time. Definitely recommended :)

Christine was extremely responsive and accommodating host. The place is located close to amenities such as grocery store and drugstore within walkable distance. We saw a deer on a walking trail close to the house. The place is bright and spacious. It is spacious with room to spread. We had a wonderful time in Dartmouth.

Absolutely gorgeous place, so peaceful and serene! Hot-tub area was honestly perfect. The weather wasn't the best during my stay but I was still able to enjoy the hot-tub with it being covered, and the lake is truly breathtaking in the rain.
