Magnificent view over the ocean

Experience spectacular views from the Bird Box, located at the top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. Out the windows, you can see the fjord and the mountains. You can easily get here from Bergen Center. One hour from «Strandkaiterminalen», or 40 min. from Flesland harbor. Møkster is a small island likely to melt your heart, all year. You find a local grocery shop. This is the authentic countryside, still close to Bergen. There are fantastic trails by the ocean. Good fishing spots. A Viking grave a few minutes away. Bedding and towels are all included, and the beds are made ready for you.

We had a great stay at Gonçalo's house! The location was peaceful and the view is an absolute highlight for this place. The house was spotless, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy both indoor and outdoor and everything is exactly as described in the listing. The communication was smooth and responsive and Gonçalo made sure we felt right at home. It is highly recommended and we will definitely come back!

We stayed two nights in this accommodation, whereby accommodation is a bit too small, because you get your own house with two floors for yourself. Downstairs are kitchen, bathroom and large living room with outdoor terrace, upstairs all bedrooms (four) of the house can be reached via a steep staircase. The location is wonderful, it is quiet and you only hear the bleating of the sheep here. The right place to slow down. As described in the listing, there is no TV (which you don't miss) and no Internet, which is missed if you still have to work on something. The furnishings are a little older but very well maintained. Underfloor heating in the bathroom. Air conditioning/heating in the basement. You can easily find the address in the GPS and it's only 10 minutes to Bekkjarvik, where there is a Spar and a burger/pizza restaurant. In Austevoll, definitely the top place to stay.
