We loved our stay at the Slow Loris. It was the best beach location I've ever found. The first night we were there we walked the short distance to The Flying Pig Restaurant/Bar and met the friendliest group of people who made us feel right at home and gave us great recommendations. Just another perk of staying at the Slow Loris Villa. Would highly recommend and would love to return there someday.

The Freebird House is a perfect tropical vacation dream. Seriously, I cannot exaggerate how wonderful this place was for us. It's like a secluded and peaceful resort that's all your own --- with a pool, a private palapa dock, kayaks, bikes, an outdoor bar, outdoor bathtub, hammocks, and more. The photos don't do it justice! You're on the lagoon, which is preferable to facing the Caribbean because it's protected from the wind and you get the sunsets to the west. You can kayak right from your private pier. To reach the Caribbean, just cross the road behind the house. The house itself is spacious and light and airy and has floor-to-ceiling windows in every room for epic views of the lagoon and the Maya Mountains beyond. The large veranda has tons of space to gather and soak up the breezes and views. The decor is relaxed beach style, but everything is modern, high-quality, and shiny-new. It's a 20-minute drive to Placencia town, but there are also some good restaurants a short walk away.

We absolutely loved stating at The Slow Loris. It was in the perfect location was an amazing view. We were a group of 8 adults and felt so comfortable and at home. On our day of arrival we were met by a concierge for a tour of the home and helpful information. The perfect vacation home we hope to stay in time and time again.

We had a wonderful stay! After a terrible experience at another Airbnb, we booked this one last minute, and they accommodated us within a few hours. The host and staff were friendly, offering great recommendations. The location is about a 40-minute golf cart ride from town, but during the day, Secret Beach is lively and a great place to relax. We spent most of our days there before heading into town at night. Overall, we felt safe and at peace. Would recommend!

This place was a great opportunity to experience Belize from a local perspective. We came during Easter, which was a very lively party. During and especially after the festivities, Claudia‘s place felt like a home and refuge away from home. It was a beautiful space and super convenient. We were very impressed from our arrival to our departure. We will definitely be keeping this place at the top of our list for our next Belizean excursion!

This is the upstairs unit- the main bedroom has a filtered view of the water. The back bedroom is connected to the bathroom. The kitchenette had everything we needed to cook breakfast. There is a drip coffee maker if you want to bring your own ground coffee. This place is a half block away from the K Mart (a small grocery store) with everything you could need- very convenient. I appreciated that Nelly provided transport to and from the water taxi. We really didn’t feel the need to rent a golf cart. The grounds of the complex are pretty, with lush vegetation. There are some lounge chairs in the shade facing the beach. Nelly provided plenty of beach towels. I’d recommend the place to friends

Nellie was very welcoming and the service she provided was amazing. Also the accomodation really met our wishes, very happy to have gotten the chance to stay here.

Truly outstanding. Beautiful location, clean and private. Agree with other reviews that a 4*4 is required, but having a security guard escort for the first time made it easy. Can't recommend enough. Julien was great to communicate with. Perfect for our family of 5 ( including 3 teenagers)

There were 10 of us and there was plenty of room. Location was great. We loved being far from town and having our own space and beach. Teri, the manager, was great! The whole staff did an awesome job!

We had a group of 14 that stayed the week, it was amazing! Place is clean, communication is superb and location ideal! I can’t say enough about this place!!

We didn’t expect the five star service we received at La Perla! They catered to our every request and made our vacation as seamless as possible from pickup at the dock right outside the villa for our excursions to a full menu from a private chef that we were able to eat right at home in the villa and enjoy our beautiful view on the deck. The ability to rent a golf cart was so nice and the people made the experience spectacular! Star was so responsive and Roberto was an amazing tour and excursion guide doing everything from diving and and exploring the cayes to arranging reef fishing and conch hunting, highly recommend!

What an incredible stay! This home was as described and perfect for our first trip to Belize. Our group included 9 adults—4 parents and 5 adult male children. We traveled as a group of 9 adults—4 parents and 5 adult sons—and having a separate bed for each of them was a huge plus! The home was very clean and well-stocked with plenty of towels, which is a must for our family. The open family, dining, and kitchen area was spacious and perfect for gathering. We ended every day in the lovely pool with a view! We were greeted at the airport and transported, with all our bags, to the house, where Noe, the host, welcomed us. He provided golf carts and explained how everything in the home worked. Noe was incredibly helpful, answering all of our questions, making restaurant reservations, and arranged taxis for our return the airport. The location is a bit far from San Pedro, and the golf cart ride is bumpy,but we got used to it. Black Orchid restaurant is close and amazing! Just book it!

Beth's Seabird villa was perfect for our group of two families. We have plenty of space and the kids enjoyed the small pool at the home as well as the bigger community pool. We loved that we could be picked up for our snorkel tour right at our own private dock. We also loved the access to the Placencia Beach Club that is provided for staying at Seabird. The home has a great design and we really appreciated the air conditioning! The home was located close to the airport and a very short golf cart ride into town. Beth provided a very helpful list of suggestions for activities, restaurants and things to do making our vacation so much more enjoyable and rewarding. We highly recommend this home and we hope to be back.

Beautiful home, the amenities were great! My husband and I loved the outdoor shower on the third floor! The pool was clean and and temperature was perfect! The housekeeping service was a nice touch to really feeling like you are on vacation! We had three days of chef service, we love the breakfast but twice had to ask her to prepare lunch and leave it because we were out sightseeing and felt rush to get back. The first day at lunch she told us not to be late for dinner (6pm) as she had to ride an hour to get home. This was understandable but again we had to rush or ask her twice at dinner to leave which meant we had to clean up. The dishwasher was leaking, we had to put a towel down to catch the water as housekeeping and chef allowed it to settle on the floor. Otherwise, our family enjoyed the home and would visit again!

Great location & next door to the Beach Club which offered food & drinks at reasonable prices + use of their swim up pool bar (very friendly staff!). House had a great space under the deck with lounge chairs & seating facing the pool & beach which was a great place for relaxing, eating at the two tables & playing games. House was well equipped with lots of dishes, glasses & silverware (might be time for a new skillet). Our host stocked groceries at our request. Our host also booked massages which we enjoyed on the deck. Some issues…air in front bedroom had issues with air conditioning, back master bedroom needs to have shower head replaced, middle bedroom off kitchen the light in shower was not working properly so a little dark. Great things…host was super attentive, house roomy and open, a coffee/wine/ice cream bar was steps away, clean beach, great decks upstairs and downstairs with plenty of room and seating for large groups. Don’t miss the Placencia sidewalk lifeblood of village!

Fantastic host, we booked very last minute due to a cancelation from another location not only was her cabana open but she upgraded us free of charge to the cabana right by the pool. Had a great time just relaxing.

Our family of 4 loved our stay in Hopkins at this very mellow and well located resort. it was mostly like having our own private beach house, with the added convenience of the delicious Rhum Shack right next to one of the two relaxing pools. we explored all over Hopkins and the location was ideal for us. Close enough to bike to most places on the included beach cruisers, and easy parking and getting around with our rental car. The Rhum Shack surprised us with high quality food, exceptional drinks with fresh ingredients, and very reasonable prices for all. The ACs throughout the villa kept us plenty cool, and the kitchen allowed us to have plenty of freedom to prepare some meals ourselves. We will very likely return to this place again next time we visit Hopkins.

I can’t say enough good things about staying at Indigo/Paradise. The condo is more beautiful than pictured and great location right on the water. Beautiful pool and loved sitting on the balcony with 180 views of the beach/ocean. Indigo is close to Secret Beach which is a must see! A golf cart is highly recommended as most restaurants are just a 5-10 min ride away- or 25 mins into downtown San Pedro, where there are tons of great restaurants! Elvi’s kitchen, Maxie’s and Carramba’s- all great! Definitely loved booking excursions right through Indigo and the full day snorkel to Hol Chan Marine reserve/Caye Caulker was amazing! We loved everything and would love to come back. Aisha and Angel were extremely accommodating and wonderful to work with. Thanks so much again!

We loved our stay at Toucan’s Nest! It was peaceful, well decorated, and squeaky clean! Such a great location to stay at. I would recommend this unit!

Don’t even think twice about renting this beautiful home on the ocean. The location is centralized to many great restaurants and the bakery is just down the road. This place was is a gem on Maya Beach, plenty of room for all 6 of us, lots of seating around the pools. Jaguar Lanes across the street was a fun place to chill and their drinks were amazing.
