The Ilkley Hideaway Luxury Apartment in Central Ilkley

The Ilkley Hideaway is a private apartment based in central Ilkley only a few hundred metres from shops, amenities and the wonderful moor. The hideaway has off road parking and a private patio. We converted The Ilkley Hideaway in 2017 and have been welcoming guests ever since. I (Georgina) work for the NHS and Tom is a secondary school teacher- we live directly above the Hideaway with our young children Millie (3) and Hattie (1). We have had some amazing people stay over the years for cycling, walking, weddings and meeting family and love being able to host people in beautiful Yorkshire. The apartment is self-contained with its own entrance and parking. The accommodation offers: lounge/kitchen/double bedroom and en-suite. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, full size fan oven, and a ceramic hob. There is a breakfast bar and a comfortable lounge with sofa and sofa bed, TV, Wi-Fi, and a DVD player. The apartment has its own patio area, perfect for a coffee before your morning walk or an evening glass of wine. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included. We pride ourselves on detail at the Ilkley Hideaway, there are some lovely little touches to discover; all designed to make your stay extra special. Walkers and cyclists are all welcome and there is bike storage. Regret no smoking in the apartment. Regret no dogs. Sleeping -1 double with en-suite shower room. -Large Sofa bed in lounge Cooking and dining - Breakfast bar - Fully equipped kitchen Social area -Large flat screen TV in lounge -Lounge has sofa and sofabed -Wi-fi. -DVD player. Outside - Patio and outdoor furniture. - Parking for 1 car We live above the apartment- we like to meet all the guests and show them around, we are on hand if guests should need us- however once checked in we like to give our guests their privacy. Walk to everywhere in Ilkley from this central location, including cafes, pubs, bars, and independent shops. Stock up at a supermarket 300 metres away. Go on picturesque outings to the surrounding moorland, and hike further afield in the Dales.

We had the most amazing stay at Cheryl’s beautiful barn conversion. The barn is tastefully designed and furnished, combining modern with old, and is so well equipped - the kitchen appliances are amazing and the beds are so comfy too! We were a family of three adult couples, our sons and there respective partners, and we particularly loved the way the three double bedrooms (one double was downstairs in the snug) were so well spaced out that gave us our own personal space and own bathrooms. We were visiting for a family reunion, with my family who are originally from Ilkley, and with my sister now living in Addingham and my brothers staying close by, we all loved getting together at the barn ahead of our days out, cooking breakfast together (the kitchen is very sociable with its big kitchen island so we could all help prepare food together) and then eating breakfast in the garden. A big thank you to Cheryl & all your help. We will definitely be back. we truly had a magical stay,

We had a lovely stay at the cottage, it was clean, comfortable and in a great location for both Ilkley’s super shops and morning strolls down to the river. The kitchen was really well equipped and the beds delightfully comfortable. The host’s recommendation of the Keighley and Worth Valley railway was a great one too, our afternoon tea on a steam train was fabulous! Highly recommended accommodation, we’d definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house. It's in a perfect quiet location, only 10 min walk from the station and it had everything we needed for the weekend. The little garden and outdoor seating was lovely and we really appreciated all the useful provisions that were left for us. The check in was easy and the neighbours were really helpful and friendly. The location is amazing, although we didn’t have much time to explore we did manage a quick walk on the moor before the rain came down. We hope to come back as it was such a lovely cottage and perfect location, I highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area.

We stayed at Jane & Andrew's place as a group of 4. We really enjoyed our stay and the place is really nicely put together -as well as being in a great location near Ben Rhydding rail station. It's always noticeable when hosts make an effort to furnish and look after a rental, it doesn't go unnoticed! Great communication throughout and thoroughly enjoyed spending time in the area. Many thanks and would certainly stay again.

Excellent central location. Very spacious accommodation which was well furnished with imaginative touches. Miruna was very helpful and kept me well informed. I’m sure that if I had any questions she would have responded immediately. The staff at the Ilkley Tap next door were also very friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this location and will probably return myself in the future.
