From here you can extensively hike through the Harz Mountains or ride a mountain bike. It is also the starting point for excursions by car: Brocken with and without the Harz Narrow Gauge Railway, Hexentanzplatz and Roßtrappe, Ilsetal, Rübeländer Tropfsteinhöhlen, Rappbodetalsperre with suspension bridge, Regenstein Castle Ruins, Wernigerode, Quedlinburg, Goslar and much more.

THE HOUSE AT THE END OF THE WORLD. No, not quite, but nicely away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our holiday property (house with 2 apartments with separate entrances) is located on the outskirts of Benneckenstein, directly on the Rappbode. 4500 sqm of land also invite you to campfire, camping and in winter to toboggan on your own toboggan slope. The house is only a vacation property. So it has no permanent tenants. Since dogs are allowed in both apartments, we ask you to be considerate of each other.

Welcome to our apartment "Sicasa" in Schulenberg in the wonderful Harz Mountains. We renovated the apartment in 2024 after more than a year with a lot of love for detail. On 43 m², a modern and light-flooded accommodation awaits you, which convinces with its stylish furnishings and a fantastic view. The minimalist decor with subtle colors, lots of natural light and warm wood accents creates a quiet atmosphere to unwind.

The apartment has 2.5 rooms, is about 60 square meters and can accommodate up to 3 people who like open, bright living. The built-in kitchen is brand new. The bathroom has a shower and a bathtub and invites you to relax after a day of hiking or skiing. A highlight is the balcony. You look at the chestnut avenue that gave the apartment its name.

Small apartment furnished with love. For nature lovers and to unwind. Here you can still experience original nature. All Harz attractions are quickly reached from Sorge. In the village there is the train station for the Harz-querbahn with direct connection to Brocken.

My place is a large, cozy attic apartment with a 40 sqm terrace where you can relax wonderfully. Beautiful mountain views and a large fireplace for cozy evenings. Projector 2 TVs in the bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen.
