Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bennington County

This place was exactly what we needed to escape and unwind. So relaxing, cozy and comfortable.

Daniel's place was the perfect home base for our Berkshires getaway. We visited Mass MoCA and loved coming back to this quiet, peaceful retreat. The backyard was especially serene, I enjoyed my morning coffee outside and relaxing by the fire at night. One of my favorite parts was cracking the window open and falling asleep to the soothing sound of the brook out back, pure magic. Daniel was a gracious host, friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. The local charm added so much to the experience, including camels and other farm animals across the street, Farmer Dave is a gem. We'd happily stay here again!

We had an amazing stay! The house is lovely and very comfortable, perfect for going skiing at mount snow and cross country skiing and prospect mountain. We were really glad to have picked it. The house is spacious, we all had a lot of room to ourselves, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The farm is gorgeous. Great grocery stores nearby. Sharon was amazing - so helpful when a winter storm threatened to make it hard for us to drive home. She offered us extra time or even another night discounted, which was really generous. She also communicated with friends to help us determine if the road back to NYC had been cleared. We are so grateful for her help! We hope to return in warmer weather to enjoy the farm even more.

Our stay was connected to a graduation at Williams College. As part of a busy and emotional weekend, The Vermont Farmhouse was the perfect respite. The house is situated in the countryside so while it requires a drive to Williamstown, Bennington and other locations, we found the quietude to be worth it. Beautiful trails in a tranquil, protected area just across the road make for wonderful, leisurely hikes. Space to breathe. It is also a short walk to a great cafe (Pangea) and the former governor's mansion. The house itself is fantastic. It is roomy, super clean, with a great kitchen and dining area for entertaining. Very tastefully decorated. Fantastic front porch that even when raining -- which it did a lot during our stay -- is a great space to sit and enjoy the view. Lovely fire pit as well. Sandra and Trevor were wonderful hosts. Super attentive to questions and genuine in their care that we were having a good time. Could not have asked for a better Vermont stay. Great!

We stayed for a weekend at Kelley and Jason’s home in Vermont and everything went great. From check in, to the local recommendations, to the quiet setting, we enjoyed a great time away. Hot tub, game room and the large deck were great.

The home is gorgeous - thoughtfully decorated, cozy and clean. The location is perfect for access to Stratton and to Manchester. The host, Jason, provided very clear and helpful instructions for check-in, check-out and use of the home and is friendly and attentive. This is a wonderful place to stay!

This stay was an absolute gem! The host’s charming old house radiates character and warmth, with every detail carefully curated to make you feel at home. Her hospitality was unmatched—gracious, attentive, and genuine. Clear directions were thoughtfully placed everywhere, making the stay seamless and stress-free.

This home was incredibly comfortable and spacious and was a perfect spot for our family’s stay for our daughter’s college graduation! Our favorite spot was the screened in porch! The kitchen is well stocked and the beds and linens were terrific. All of the pictures accurately portrayed the home and the two separate seating areas came in handy when I needed to work. Courtney also provided detailed instructions - such as WiFi passwords and restaurant recommendations etc. She was also extremely accommodating when I needed to add a night and check out a bit later than normal! Access was also very easy to the home with a keypad lock. I highly recommend this property and hope to stay again if we make it back to the area!

Terrific Airbnb! Close to Stratton and other ski mountains, with some great places to eat (recommendations provided). Mary was proactive and quick to respond. The unit was extremely clean and had everything you might need. The kitchen was equipped with anything you would want/need to cook. Being pet friendly was a huge plus for us. Mary left us treats for the humans (cheese & crackers, chocolate and maple syrup) and bones for the pups! Will book again for sure.

Doug and Amy's place is beautifully maintained and full of charm. I loved being in a 1880's home with all the original wood work and beautiful wall paper with fresh paint and modern comfort - we were warm and it was only 16 degrees outside. The place is very clean too (and I'm a clean freak)! Doug and Amy are very friendly, we enjoyed meeting them. I would definitely return to this beautiful home.

This place was absolutely awesome!! There’s a lake right down the street, we got in some good fishing over there😁 there’s also a dispensary and liquor store downstairs. Hands down the coolest dispensary I’ve ever been in. Also, love the golden retriever in the liquor store!! The flea market was right down the street as well as a small pink colored coffee shack. They had the best iced lattes and they use espresso cubes for ice! Can’t wait to go back!

The host was helpful and kind. The space was exactly what we needed for a weekend soccer tournament! Clean, quiet, comfortable, and in close proximity to the fields. We had a great stay!

This was a perfect spot to stay at for a friend's wedding in Rupert. The cottage was clean, quiet, and the host was very friendly. Fresh eggs left for our arrival was icing on the cake. Highly recommend!

Stayed there for weekend at Battenkill fly fishing festival. Accommodations were perfect. Everything is described. Private, quiet, beautiful views, immaculate inside, comfortable beds, clean, quiet, plenty of space and charming Norman Rockwell Vermont ski type Homestead. Highly recommend.

We stopped here on a family road trip for one night. It was easy to check in and was clean. We enjoyed the fire pit, views, and atmosphere of the area. The host was helpful and responsive.

Once again, we had an amazingly peaceful and relaxing time at our favorite air bnb. We love everything about Isobel's place, the beautiful surroundings, the sauna and of course the hot tub. There were so many birds to watch, too, including Indigo Buntings and Baltimore Orioles! It's a perfect getaway. We can't wait to come back in the fall.

The cabin was one of the best places that we’ve stayed at through Airbnb! It had everything that you would want and the location was fantastic. It is a 10 minute drive to Manchester, a really cute town, and very close to many hiking options. The completely fenced in yard was great for our dog. We loved our stay here!

I was looking for a stay at a quintessential Vermont cabin with modern amenities and this fit the bill perfectly! It was cute, tastefully decorated, private, and had great amenities. Definitely pay attention to their directions regarding saving information and instructions before leaving cell service because cell service disappears. The cabin was private and located in a serene area, but only 20 minutes from Manchester and an easy drive from Bennington or White River Junction (we did both). HIGHLY recommend both location and hosts! Host was even kind enough to invite us to a local concert.

We loved our second stay at Britt & Alex’s. It was wonderful to come back in the summer season after staying this past winter to this beautiful, rustic, curated home. We loved starting our summer here and hope to come back in the future!

Lovely cabin, with great hiking opportunities nearby. Brandon is super responsive and helpful. Had a great time, even if one day it rained all day!

The cabin was as described and had all the listed amenities. Location was perfect for a weekend visit with friends from northern Vermont. Plenty of restaurant choices in the area. Would rent again if we need a place in the area.

John was an amazing host. Everything was like the pictures. He had binders with things to do around the area, which was amazing. He had trail maps and board games. The sauna and hot tub were both great and well maintained. Would definitely recommend for any family for a relaxing time. The loft was a nice little hiding spot. Plus it was only a 12 minute drive to Jamaica State Park with amazing views and right down the street from Stratton Mountain. I will definitely be booking this again!!!! It was an absolutely amazing weekend with an absolutely huge outdoor fire pit for the whole family!! The kitchen has everything you need just bring food. Towels and sheets are included as well and an absolutely beautiful view from the dining room table!!

The place is beautiful, private, quiet, cozy. Monique is super accessible and friendly, I felt super comfortable being able to take my dogs. The house is complete in the details, they thought of everything to make the place as pleasant as possible! Thank you Monique...
