A semi-detached country house, located in a beautiful valley in the Algarve mountains, more precisely, in the village of Cerca dos Pomares (5 km from Aljezur). "Casa Figueira" is part of our trio of local accommodation houses. It is twinned with "Casa Medronheiro," and this, in turn, with "Casa Videira." (see photo in gallery) In the village of Aljezur, you will find Supermarkets, Pharmacy, Restaurants and varied commerce. To do this, however, you will always have to travel by car (road in poor condition!).

The two wooden houses, are set in a tranquil cork and eucalyptus environment. You´ll be rewarded by green grounds. The air is beautifully scented by the trees. As soon as you arrive, “the final 600 meters are on an unpaved road, typical for the Algarve countryside,easily accessible with a regular car and part of the boho, slow-living experience” you can go for a swim in the azure pool or read a book on your terrace. As serene as you could hope to find, yet an easy drive from wonderfull beaches.

Welcome to our apartment with its beautiful view of the ocean and Dona Ana beach. If you like to fall asleep to the sound of waves on the beach and wake up to fantastic sunrises, then our apartment is for you! And it is only a 15 minute walk to Lagos old town, the marina and lots of nice restaurants. The kitchen and the 2 bathrooms were renovated recently and the furniture is brand new. Welcome to Quinta Kakelbont, the magic of this place lies in its serenity. The gorgeous countryside has such an calming effect. And I am very happy with the result of the renovation. I turned the house and cottage in a high quality property, although still retaining its charm. The cottage is situated on the side of the main house.
