Lovely home away from home. Very peaceful with no traffic or other noise. Great views, and the house is spacious for indoor and outside living. Julie was very helpful, offering local recommendations, quick to respond and even gave one of our children a lift when he got dropped off and had a long walk back to the house. All in all a great spot, the wildlife around the estate was a treat and within a short drive of some great pubs and restaurants. Can thoroughly recommend.

What a Truly 5 Star experience than my wife, daughter and I had at Kerry's place. The house is truly 5 Start yet the pricing is actually very reasonable for the value One receives. Kerry is proactive in her communication, very responsive to the guests requests and is very flexible. The house is always spotless due to the very helpful and diligent cleaning team. Definitely going back there soon!

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience staying here. Nikki and Tom went above and beyond as air b&b hosts and truly made my experience amazing. When I landed in Durban, they picked me up from the airport and after learning that my luggage was stuck in Joburg, they took me to the store so that I could get some toiletries and food for the day. They were so patient and warm in every interaction that I had with them. When we lost water, they brought me a 5 liter jug and were extremely communicative any time we lost water or electricity. I was in Durban for two months and struggled to find people to travel with and they literally adopted me most weekends to hang out with them at their beach club. Regarding the air bnb itself, it was the perfect size for me. It is in the safest neighborhood with great restaurants and a bakery within walking distance! There's fiber internet and a washing machine. Loved this little cottage, love Nikki and Tom, and love Durban!!

A little gem. The accomodation beeing spacious , clean , perfect private setting . Tucked away yet close to it all . Wish i could spend longer at the property . will surely return . The host was brilliant , responding almost instant . If you dont book here u surely missing out on a great experience . suggestion JP maybe a reading lamp in the second room .

This is my second time staying here and it was absolutely amazing. The place still looks as beautiful as it did in 2022. The place is well looked after. The beds a VERY comfortable (I need the name please🙈). Overall sis Lulu’s place is worth every cent and I will definitely be going back again. Sis Lulu I know my toddler was a bet loud apologies for that 🙏🏾.

A very warm welcome first by Sean and Caitlin, by Janet after being back. After my arrival Janet's husband Sean gave me a tour through the neighborhood, showed me cafes, shopping options, restaurants, their favorite ones - offered from their avocado tree fresh fruits and lemons ...received very valuable instructions that monkeys couldn't enter the cottage, safety on beaches, pool was great when coming back late in the evening for a swim... when any questions an immediate response. On the hill a lovely view towards the harbour, a very safe, quiet neighborhood, easy walking to shops and cafes just a 10 Minute walk. Anyway in Durban one can walk a lot. Janet and her family made me feel like home the cottage in an "jungle garden" the outdoor seatings a great joy. Also the goodbye was very warm - when again in Durban that would by my choice, when available

The place was amazing. Sarah and her husband were very welcoming. My family enjoyed the stay they felt very much at home. Funny they didn’t know what air bnb’s are or how they worked and they said the next time they come back to visit me they want to stay here. More importantly they were able to allow us to extend our stay as my family couldn’t leave back to Eastern Cape due to the snow fall. The hosts allowed us to stay an extra day and the fee was great also considering it was short notice as much as it was an unforeseen circumstance that led us to have to extend. It really was an amazing stay , words alone can’t express it. Thank you so much.

I have been staying here for few months now and still here. That alone explains how much I love this place and dont want to go anywhere else. This is a definition of home away from home. I feel at home and at peace all the time. Very secure place too, you have a peace of mind when you are here knowing you are secure. There are CCTV camera round the property too. Always having clean beddings, place is cleaned all the time, you dont even have to ask them come clean. You agree at first, when and how many times do you want your place cleaned and it remains like that. This way you can plan your day of cleaning to be out to allow for cleaning without being bothered by anything. Lastly, I will recommend this place anytime to anyone. Its build for business and also tourists stay.

Absolutely loved my stay and will definitely return if I can. Dawn's place is immaculate and very comfortable. The views of the ocean are incredible, especially in the mornings. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. It's also VERY spacious - the photos don't do it justice!

We so enjoyed staying in the apartment. It has the most beautiful view, and is more spacious than the pictures show. Very clean, and had everything we needed. Shivek was responsive and helpful in answering my questions. We are greeted with the most generous basket of goodies. The size of the balcony was unexpected and was so wonderful to have our meals outside, also the area was surprisingly quiet. Security to the apartment was very good (once you got your biometrics sorted). Grocery shopping is right there and that worked well for us. I would recommend this apartment!!!

An Unforgettable Stay with Truly Exceptional Hosts I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Liezle and Garth’s Airbnb over the Comrades Marathon weekend, and words can hardly do justice to the experience. From the moment I arrived, I was treated like family. Liezle, who was working at the Comrades Expo, went above and beyond by personally welcoming me and offering to keep my bags safe in her office until I could check in — such a thoughtful gesture that immediately put me at ease. The care and kindness didn’t stop there. Garth, ever generous and full of heart, woke up at 2 AM to drop me off at the Comrades bus. He even gave me oats to fuel my race and a running belt to carry my phone — small details that made a big difference. After the race, I came back to a comforting soup and the same genuine kindness that made the entire stay so special. Their home is everything you could ask for: peaceful,beautifully maintained, safe, and surrounded by a sense of calm that’s hard to come by.

We had to make plans on short notice and Sally's communication was great. Well worth the visit, will definitely stay again.

Great place. Absolutely loved it. Fantastically equipped - kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms. Balcony amazing as it connects the bedrooms. Great host. Only comment is if you travelling with 70+ kg of luggage it's a lot of stairs to lug all suitcases. Having said that it is worthwhile. Thank you 🧚

Nice spacious Airbnb with a beautiful view of the sea. The hosts are great and very responsive ane helpful too. I'd reccomend this Airbnb to anyone staying in uMhlamga Rocks.

I spent 1 night at the house and really had a great time, the place is nice and clean with nice sea views. Paula has been an amazing host, very responsive,I strongly recommend it and will definitely come back for a longer stay.

Tyler’s place caters to every holiday need - from dazzling sea views to homely comforts. It had been the tastefully decorated without compromising on daily necessities. The complex and its surrounds are quiet, yet safe enough for a morning jog. Everything was just a quick drive away and what is better than falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean…

Ryan is an exceptional host and he radiates so much warmth! Communication was clear and consistent throughout our stay. We felt right at home in the space and will probably be back.

Nicely laid out space for a group-share: four independent rooms, each with an en suite full bathroom. Proximity to beach is excellent. The condo is outfitted with everything you'd need--from kitchen gear to beach towels, etc. We were a group of seven attending a wedding and had a great time in the space. Trish was also very helpful: when one guest forgot his passport in the condo, she was quick to let us back into the space well after checkout. I would recommend Trish's place for anyone looking for a fun pad to connect with family and friends, beachside.

I HIGHLY recommend this venue. It is perfect for a small family trip. The unit is spacious, fully equipped, and even has a washer/dryer. It is just steps from the beach/boardwalk, and the host provides helpful items like beach towels and beach chairs. Just note that it’s on the top floor of the building, so pack accordingly since you’ll need to carry your bags. Loren is an excellent host, fully responsive, and so very helpful. There are multiple beachside restaurants less than a 5 minute walk from the building, and lots of rock pools and safe swimming areas along the beach. If you are looking to stay in Ballito, this is the place.

what a great place so peaceful and I appreciated mostly about sharmaine keeps checking on her clients about their wellbeing, and recommending you about places to go. Very caring host, the view so nice and beautiful braai area. Definitely worth the money
