After a short time getting oriented and realizing there were no locks on doors (be sure to bring a small padlock if that’s a concern), we fell deep into the slow and restive rhythm of the place. Beyond charming with simple details to match the back-to-basics decor. Top it off with a private beach on the vlei, cozy hot tub, outdoor shower and a very comfortable bed, and what more could you ask for?

We loved every minute of our stay in this beautiful peaceful country cottage. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it. It is a perfect weekend getaway spot and hard to say goodbye to Hubert, Spike and Jett who made us feel right at home

We had an absolutely awesome stay at Las Piedras! Everything was top class — from the beautiful, spotless property to the incredible attention to detail. Coreen was a top-class host: welcoming, professional, and made sure everything was perfect for us. The location is magical — right on the border of the nature reserve park. Magical place. Great location and a dream for the kids being so close to the water. House has everything you need and layout works great if you have kids and friends over. We will be visiting this spot very soon again..and regularly!

Erna's listing of Heron's Place is an absolute must to try. Our stay was just too short. We arranged a boat cruise on the river and because of the private jetty, they were able to pick us up at our doorstep and drop us off there again. The area is beautifully quiet and on the river. I would recommend it.

We had a lovely and relaxing stay. Lynn's place was clean and tidy. Clean bedding and towels. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The private jetty was very nice, we had the entire jetty to ourselves and caught fish from there. There's place for kids to play. The people in the area were also warm and welcoming. Will definitely visit here again.

Absolutely recommended – a perfect stay in Langebaan! We had a wonderful time staying at this place and highly recommend it! The host Linette is very warm and accommodating, and Vusi is always on site in case you need help – a really great team! The house is almost right on the small private beach, in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The location is ideal: you can get anywhere quickly by car, and shopping is also nearby. The place itself is clean, cozy and has plenty of space for a small family. We felt completely comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a fantastic time in Port Owen. The accommodation was great and in close walking distance to the restaurant. Fantastic access to the jetty and river system if you have a boat.

The house is well equipped with high quality utensils. Everything you need is there, and easy to use. Bedding and bathrooms is super clean and of good quality, with plenty of towels. It is very private and well placed for boating activities or just relaxing at the water. Cant wait for our next visit.
