Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Berkeley County

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. Christiana was responsive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. The neighborhood was quiet and appeared safe, with easy access to local shops and restaurants. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home that made it feel extra welcoming. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Very nice place. Was able to relax and enjoy the hottub. Beds were comfy. Had everything you needed in the kitchen. Gina was very nice and responsive.

Ken’s place was peaceful and homey. We couldn’t get enough of the view from the deck and spent every free moment and meal out there. Ken was responsive and the house was well stocked and well cared for. The grounds are wonderful. So much work went into crafting little terraces and walking paths. We enjoyed them all.

We loved our stay here! We wanted a complete refresh-trying to get away from the hustle and bustle. The hot tub & screened in porch were perfect. Just a few things to note that I didn't see on any of the other reviews: There is only a small gallon tank under the sink for drinking water. With 4 people and 2 dogs, we ran out of drinking water after 1 day. I wish I knew this before hand, we would have brought bottles of water. Also, I would bring your own camping chairs to sit by the fire pit & creek. The chairs they have are very uncomfortable. That being said, we loved the creek and our dogs and had a blast! We would return here for another unplugged getaway.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Patricia’s home. She was very accommodating. My wife loved the kitchen which was fully stocked, the commemorative looney toons glasses; and that it had everything we need to cook meals. My daughter love the pool. I loved the fire pit and the views of the mountains. Close to walking trails for hiking. House is very peaceful to sleep at night and the house is very welcoming and relaxing.

We had an excellent stay on our journey along the C&O canal. The owners were very responsive and accommodating to our larger group. Everything was pristinely clean and the bathroom/shower was luxurious. Very happy with our stay and big thanks to the homeowners!

Our second stay here. Just as good as the first. We met our family most every day (15 minutes away) and got to participate in their many activities, and yet have a quiet, clean, large space to retreat to. They were so flexible that we felt like family !

Ashley was very accommodating for our requests, quick communication, check in was easy and everything was just as described. Her Airbnb is very clean, beautifully decorated with wonderful views and peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect place for my family and I. It was so convenient to be able to rent both units and my family could be together, yet have enough space.

Great stay! It was an awesome location and there was lots to do within walking distance. Also appreciated the food that was present for us on arrival. There was a small but very nice backyard where we were able to make a fire one night. Host was very informative and responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent host. Very clean place, beautiful property. Laura was amazing. It was like staying with a good friend. We bought some of her eggs and delicious honey. We would definitely stay there again. My wife and I and our fur babies will miss Laura, Jerald, and Dasher.

This cabin was exactly like the pictures and as described! We forgot that chickens are mentioned in the listing until we arrived and saw them, they were very cute. Kitchen is pretty stocked with whatever you need to have simple meals but there is no oven/stovetop so definitely plan ahead, but Trent provides some appliances like a toaster oven, waffle maker, and coffee maker. Overall we had a great stay!

We have stayed at Lesley’s properties before, and they never fail to impress! This was the perfect place to take our relaxing getaway. We did not explore Martinsburg too much, but instead used it as a midway point between Berkeley Springs and Harper’s Ferry. The bed was super cozy, I enjoyed playing the piano, and the tub is beautiful! We would definitely stay here again ☺️

This was a lovely stay! The house was clean (obsessed with the woody fresh smell of the pine) and had everything we could have needed. We even enjoyed stormy weather under the roof on the back deck!

The drive up into The Woods was beautiful(4x4 recommended 😄)& once we got into the community, we felt safe. When we walked into Cedar Loft we were welcomed by fresh baked cookies, snacks,& a sweet, hand written card.The cabin smelled like a cabin in the woods & was so cozy & warm. There was low music playing on the TV too which just all in all felt so warm & welcoming. I was with my mother, daughter, & niece-the girls slept in the loft which they absolutely loved. Everyone wanted to stay longer. Our purpose was to get away, relax& be in nature. That was definitely accomplished staying here. There were many throwback CD movies that brought me back to my childhood. We laughed& cried &really enjoyed that nostalgic touch. Everything was clean& comfortable, we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, being out by the fire pit& swimming at the pool. The cabin was stocked with everything you might need. Thank you for such a memorable stay. The journal was so special. There were tears on the way out.

This was our second stay at Janel's place and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. We loved the fireplace and views from the A frame windows. The hot tub wasn't working unfortunately, but things happen and Janel was communicative about it. Had a great weekend regardless. Also love that Janel is accommodating of dogs. Our fur babies were happy to join us on our getaway.

fantastic mountain getaway. at first we were bummed the weather was going to keep us inside but this Airbnb made it such an enjoyable and relaxing vacation nonetheless. beds were very comfortable, space was beautiful, and such a bonus that they provided the firewood for evening fires. will absolutely be coming back to see this space intiple seasons.

Perfect for a weekend getaway (or longer). Very quiet and peaceful with beautiful surroundings. If you’re looking for a quiet place to stay with all the amenities, this is the place.

The Cabin on the Run was fantastic. It was spotless, I think the beds were the most comfortable beds I've slept in at an airbnb, my son (9 y/o) loved the toys upstairs, and the hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. The woods surrounding were absolutely beautiful, which we enjoyed walking through during the day, and relaxing on the comfortable sofa in the evening.

Mary-Lou was very responsive and helpful! Her place was clean and accurately described, and we enjoyed our weekend! :) Would recommend her as a host!
