It is only a walk of 10 minutes to the delightful, sandy beach at Spittal with its fine promenade and just 10 minutes' walk to Berwick Old Bridge – the gateway to this fine historic town, with its many places of interest, fine restaurants and charming independent shops on Bridge Street. Explore, retreat, relax!

The Byre. Cosy, eco friendly barn camping.

The Byre is a delightful upcycled 19th century listed cow byre on an old farm. The room looks out on to the farm courtyard. There is a large garden for visitors use, and dark skies above us. We are an eco friendly family, and the Byre comes with a private composting toilet in a separate wooden shed, and a water supply just outside.Think of it as cosy camping in a stone tent.

Northumbrian Pride, Shepherd's Hut, Lowick

This is our fully furnished shepherds hut with double bed, kitchen and bathroom. In beautiful North Northumberland, lovely views over to the sea, countryside and town of Berwick upon Tweed. We are close to Holy Island, Bamburgh and Seahouses. Our hut was custom built on site for guests to enjoy the fantastic places of interest near by. Bedding and towels are provided.
