A couples’ retreat, the Canyon Wren Cottage is sculpted into bedrock amongst pinion pines and old growth mountain mahogany brush. A picturesque erosion sculpted sandstone monolith rises four stories at the edge of the yard, just beyond the cottage. The approach to the cottage from Teasdale Road, is down a short lane crossing through woodland fringed meadow with a wetland on one side and alfalfa cultivation on the other. The backdrop is beautiful rock form, including a large balanced rock.

The natural area brings wildlife into our backyard orchard. Great for bird watching! Home is rustic and eclectic, all wood interior with wood burning stove. Great place for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Smoke and pet free, we use natural soaps and cleaners for your health. 1 block to town park.

Experience our luxury Tiny Home, nestled in rural Southern Utah, redrock cliffs in the distance, busy Milky Way skyscape, in a quiet little hamlet on the edge of Capitol Reef National Park. From a distance the Tiny Home looks kinda ... tiny - but once inside, there's a feeling of spaciousness and light - high ceilings and lots of windows. It is really ideal for 1-2 people, but there's a comfy sofa bed as well for a 3rd person, and a long padded bench for a fourth. Large deck for stargazing!

We hope you enjoy our space. We provide you with oatmeal and farm fresh eggs as the chickens allow. There is private entrance to a kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom all private. We have area that if you need to park a truck and trailer for enjoying our mountains. We own a kennel on the property. This is a great place to stay and have your pet close for a minimal fee to go for a walk with you. We request that your pets stay in the kennel area to help keep cleaning costs down.

Economy "Tuff Shed" Cabin

We lovingly refer to our Economy cabins as "Tuff Shed" cabins. They are very basic with one Queen bed, a small TV, a desk, and a chair. The cabins have both heat and A/C. These are camp cabins, so there is no restroom or kitchen within the cabin. The restrooms, hot showers, drinking water, and a dishwashing sink is close by. Please note - We do not provide cooking facilities with this rental. No Pets Allowed. Checkout is 10:00 AM local time. No check-ins before 3 PM.
