Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Big Bass Lake

Stayed at Aleksey's and Julia's place for a three-day weekend with the family. Aleksey is super responsive and provides clear and detailed information and instructions. Check-in was smooth and we had no problem finding or getting to the house, which is nestled inside a gated community. The place was spotless when we arrived, and had all the amenities we were looking for. Plenty of sleeping space (four bedrooms, including bunk beds in two of the room), and the beds were very comfortable. Heated floors in the kitchen/bathrooms was was great, and the basement sauna was a very nice touch. My kids loved the game room in the basement, and really enjoyed playing in the backyard by the river. There are a lot of families with young kids out and about, going for walks, and the people in the community were friendly. We actually spent most of our time within the community itself, as there were plenty of low-key activities on the community grounds. Highly recommend this place, will def. be back.

We stayed at Oak View during the first week of June 2025 and had a truly wonderful experience. The home is beautifully designed and thoughtfully appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was attentive and responsive without being intrusive. We spent most days relaxing on the deck, enjoying the peaceful surroundings—and even sneaking in a few naps. It was the perfect escape for a restful weekend. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Patrick’s home! I stayed with my family, including six small children, and the house was perfectly accommodating for all of us. One of the highlights was the closet stocked with board games and toys—it kept the kids entertained and made us feel right at home. The only downside, which doesn’t reflect on the host at all, was that we weren’t aware it was the "off season" in the community. I purchased a weekly pass for the amenities, but unfortunately, many were closed during our stay. I wish the community staff had provided clearer communication about that, but again, this had nothing to do with Patrick or the quality of the home. Overall, I highly recommend Patrick’s place and hope to return during peak season to enjoy everything the community has to offer!

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as pictured—beautifully remodeled, in excellent condition, and incredibly cozy. It had everything we needed to feel right at home, including all the essential amenities. Wendy was an outstanding host from beginning to end—responsive, proactive, and thoughtful, always one step ahead in anticipating our needs. The canoes were a wonderful bonus, offering easy lake access and a lot of fun on the water. We also loved the nearby playgrounds and enjoyed relaxing at the community pool. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-equipped getaway—we’d absolutely stay here again!

The home was absolutely beautiful and super relaxing. It was in every way it was described and did not disappoint. The community was beautiful and makes you feel safe. My sister and I had an amazing time. We had so many plans to do outdoor activities and it rained all weekend but this house was perfect for a much needed staying in weekend. Perfect home and perfect weekend!

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It was clean, spacious, very warm despite the cold, and had a terrific pool table and air hockey table. Our family relaxed and spent good time together.

Perfect for a Relaxing weekend with friends and Family

We drove in from 3 different states for graduation weekend & stayed at this amazing apartment. Extremely spacious, but also many quaint gathering areas. Very clean, private, quiet & so much character. The kitchen was well stocked although we did not prepare meals there. We ate out one evening & hosted a catered graduation dinner the next.A perfect place for us to gather & celebrate our daughter’s graduation. We did hit the first 80° weekend of the year so window AC units weren’t in yet. A very quick message to Esther & her husband was there within 15 minutes installing them. Their response to messages & questions were amazing! Outstanding hosts! When booking I was unsure about the street parking, but there were always spots in front of & on the side of the house. This was excellent considering both University of Scranton & Marywood graduated the same weekend. We loved our stay & wouldn’t hesitate to book this again. Esther was a delight to rent from! I’d give it 10 stars if I could!

Nina was kind and responsive as a host, but is sensitive so this place wouldn't be for everyone as she lives downstairs, especially if you like noise, but fine for many. It isn't updated or modern, but that was okay for me. You can open the window and hear the stream which was peaceful. The bed isn't exactly comfortable, but the shower pressure was amazing. The hardest part was not having a functional kitchen with refrigerator or stove. There was a pitcher with filtered water, and a silicone electric kettle for tea, but to access a small fridge you have to go downstairs. Nina did leave me some delicious watermelon to eat upon arrival which was so thoughtful.

Gorgeous little spot in a great location! Perfect for two! everything was comfortable and clean! we booked extremely last minute. Truly went above and beyond!!

Had a fantastic time with my boyfriend at Elwira's place! We had to cut our trip short but the time we did spend there was awesome. Elwira was very friendly and it was the perfect location, close to all our favorite spots.

What a beautiful house AND location. We didn't see another person the whole time we were there. the house and grounds were immaculate and had everything you could possibly need for your stay. the hot tub looked inviting but the weather prevented us from using it and unfortunately they had no control over the rain. The local area has so many things to do it was tough deciding but we managed. great antiqueing, if you're into that. I would highly recommend a stay at Cozy Creek Cabin. It's exactly the kind of place I'm looking for in the Poconos. Thanks Jen and Rob

Such a beautiful Airbnb!! Very homey, clean, and a lot of amenities are provided! It is also in a great location. 2 minute drive from the lake, 4 minute drive from mini-golf, 5 minute drive from a beautiful park / hiking trail, a 25 minute drive downtown, and about a 15 minute drive to stores (aldi, walmart, lowe’s) and places to eat. Good home, surrounded by good locations. Host is fantastic, and always communicative. Responds fast, answers all questions, and even left us some vital things such as sunscreen and extra bath towels! A 10/10 experience for me and my girls.

This house was just what we needed for a quiet weekend! It’s a perfect place to go to if you’re looking to escape, and surround yourself in nature.

We had a wonderful stay! It was the perfect place to do our 'digital detox' in a lovely cabin with plenty to do (ping pong, fire pit, hot tub and canoeing), and it was well situated to do short drives to hikes, the organic market, horseback riding and more. The house had everything we needed and we were very comfortable reading, playing board games, cooking and relaxing there. (The bedding was comfortable, too!) The hosts were friendly and gave great recommendations. We would definitely stay there again.

Our stay at Marina’s place was absolutely fantastic! The cabin was spotless and super cozy for my family. Marina went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, providing excellent recommendations for local restaurants/things to do and answering all of our questions prior to and during our stay. Even though it was raining pretty much our whole stay, we loved being able to relax in the sauna & hot tub! Extra points for being so welcoming of our little pup too! We highly recommend this Airbnb and would definitely book again!
