Woodend Retreat nestled in the heart of Speyside

A beautiful and tranquil setting, you will find it peaceful and relaxing. Facilities include a double bed in the main bedroom which can be split into two single beds, and a sofa bed in the lounge area. The property is a converted attic space and therefore has a sloping ceiling so be careful not to bump your head! We are in the heart of the Whisky Trail with many distilleries nearby, so a visit and a wee dram is a must! OTHER ACTIVITIES - FISHING, CYCLING, WALKING, HIKING and BEAUTIFUL BEACHES

A quiet, end-terrace cottage in Huntly, off the main streets but in easy walking distance to the train station and town centre. The cosy living room is fitted with an efficient log burning stove, and you will find a basket of wood on your arrival. The kitchen is located at the back of the building with access to a small, enclosed garden perfect for a slow breakfast in the sun or an evening drink on the lawn. We loved our stay here. Location is excellent, right in the centre and walking distance to everything you’d need - union square is just around the corner. The flat itself is lovely and so spacious! We stayed with a 9 month old and a 4 year old and there was more than enough space for us all with the travel cot provided and pull out sofa bed. Communication was very easy and very quick responses. Thank you so much for our stay, we will hopefully be back sometime 😊

The cottage is a beautifully renovated & styled rustic building, set in a quiet laneway within easy walk of Central Turriff. Kim has attended to every detail for short or long term stay. It is a home away from home. Love the robotic vacuum cleaner. The early checkin was much appreciated🙏

One of the best properties we have stayed in. Plenty of space for our family to enjoy together as well as lots of private space to chill. Both Robert and Geoff checked in on us regularly which was great. Geoff was especially helpful at checkin making sure we were all well settled. Huge kitchen, which was very well stocked, made cooking for a large family easy. Easy access to all rooms which was great for some family members with limited mobility. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the perfect house to spend Christmas.

Near the Speyside distilleries, book transportation in advance. Steph was kind and responded quickly to all my questions. Would stay here again.

Great, comfortable, quiet, convenient location in Dufftown - walking distance from Glenfiddich and a short drive from plenty of other Speyside distilleries! Julie and Ian were very proactive and quick to respond - our entire stay went really smoothly. Easy, convenient parking on the street in front of the house. The kitchen had all necessary equipment and a Coop supermarket is just within 5 mins walking distance. The hosts had prepared a great guide book with tips, instructions and pictures (great for me as I'm quite a visual person), including recommendations for several really beautiful walks in the area. A visit to Cullen beach (40 mins driving up North) is also really worth it. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

All good, the whirlpool was certainly a huge plus and used almost every evening. Her clear and comprehensive communication really made arriving and leaving pure bliss. Just a remark - the beds were a tad too soft for our liking, but that's strictly our own preference and doesn't take anything away from the overall experience at all. 10 out of 10, cleary would book again.
