Holiday rentals with lake access in Blaine County

A quaint country home. Nestled on the banks of the Snake River. We enjoyed our 8 day stay. Watching the ducks, geese, and swan swimming near us. Trout jumping out of the water, even a hawk swooping down and snagging out of the river a large trout with its talons and flying away. The home itself was comfortable with peaceful energy and charm. We found it to be well stocked in toiletries and kitchen appliances and pans and service ware. The kitchen stove is a charming older stove with ring burners. The wifi is very slow. One may consider using a hotspot if you're looking for speed on your laptop. We loved most of all having breakfast in the sunroom. All in all, it is a nice comfortable place to heal, inspire, paint nature, and relax.

Beautiful riverside scenery, waterfowl, wildlife, fishing, relaxed by the fire every night, chilled on the lawn & deck when we ate our meals, quiet neighborhood. We had everything we needed inside the house. So nice to be able to kayak & fish right from the property. The toddlers could take naps & the adults could keep fishing. The home is wheelchair friendly which is a huge deal for us! Jennifer is excellent & having her dad next door was great! LOVED everything about this place!!

We enjoyed the ability to tie up our boat to the dock. It was nice to not have to keep launching the boat. We launched it on our first day and were able to park our truck and trailer prior to checking in. It was nice to wake up, have coffee and breakfast and walk out to our boat to enjoy 3 days of fishing.

Highly recommend! We loved the kitchen and how the open concept of the living areas made it so even when cooking, we didn't feel excluded from the conversation. The view of the reservoir is gorgeous! The beds were very comfy. Would definitely stay here again!

The location is amazing. The access to the River is unique and gorgeous! We had a blast every day. We overlooked there is no stove or washer and dryer but they have 2bbqs and a flat grill so we could still navigate breakfast! The twin beds are in closets so my younger kids were too scared to utilize them but it was a great use of space! We have never shared a property with the owners before so that was new for us they were upstairs and we were downstairs but it’s all closed off with your own access. They also rent a cabin out back and those guests have their own pad on the beach. So it’s no trouble at all!

Lovely little home tucked away by the river. Perfect for the quick winter holiday get away!

The place was great, and the host Kurt was great too. He went out of his way repeatedly to make sure we felt right at home.

Laura's place on Gridley Island was very nice. It was the perfect size for our group. We enjoyed using the kayak and SUP that was in the garage. Paddling next to the house was really nice as the water is shallow so it felt very safe and peaceful. The proximity to Thousand Springs was great for us as we were doing sightseeing and fishing around the area. We brought our own extra lawn chairs.
