Our home is in an exceptional location right on Place des Chartrons, famous for its authentic village life in the heart of the city. The whole house will be yours to enjoy! Wake up in the morning with the natural light coming true the windows ! Fully renovated in 2014, our duplex home is tastefully decorated with a mix of antiques and flea market finds, giving it a chic but relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. It features Bordeaux's typical stone walls, wooden floors, a fireplace and high ceilings. It has 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, a living room with dining area, and a separate kitchen. One bedroom has a single bed and a double bed (140 cm x 200 cm) on the mezzanine. The other two bedrooms each have a large double bed (160 cm x 200 cm). One bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. The whole house will be yours to enjoy! I will be very happy to communicate with you by email and telephone. This house is in Les Chartrons, which used to be the wine merchants' and sailors’ district back in the 18th century. It’s since been transformed into a chic neighborhood, known for its antiques shops and fashion boutiques. If you arrive by car, you can park on the street outside or in a private parking (Parking de la Cité Mondiale) located 4 minutes by feet from the house. The nearest Tram stop is only 2 minutes away: "Place Paul Doumer" Tram C, and "CAPC" Tram A. A direct tram will take you from the train station to the house: take tram C, direction "Les Aubiers" and stop "Place Paul Doumer". A direct tram will take you from the house to the Parc des Expositions . You can rent bicycles at the Vcub station or a car at the Bluecub station. Both stations are very close to your house. The basement has a separate entrance and contains space for bicycles or a moped should you decide to rent one. Please note that during Christmas and New Year’s Eve, the minimum stay is 5 days.

Your accommodation is suitable for the solo or business traveler, or 1 couple with 2 children or 3 adults with a child from 0 to 3 years old.

La Maison du Vieux Lormont welcomes you all year round in an enchanting setting conducive to work and contemplation. Ideally located, the house offers spectacular views of Saint-Martin Church. Come and discover our brand new gîte, located in the heart of downtown Blaye (20 KM from the Blayais Nuclear Power Plant, in the heart of the wine region). This allows you to walk to all amenities (300 m from the Citadel). The house consists of a bedroom equipped with a TV. Guests can enjoy a terrace with Jacuzzi (until 10pm maximum). Private parking on the ground floor that can accommodate several cars is available, by reservation only, at the rate of €15/day/car. The geographical location is ideal: you can discover most of the city on foot. Occupancy is 10 people maximum.
