The place is quiet and beautiful right in the heart of Villandry. The Chateau, river are all also at walking distance. It is perfect for two people to stay.

Fabien was very responsive and friendly when we arrived. I would recommend this place, close to all amenities.

Quiet dispite the very central location

We had a wonderful three weeks in this historic apartment right near the hub of Saumur. Walking to all the sites, restaurants, and amenities was very easy. Parking really was no problem either. The apartment is overall fantastic. Beautifully decorated and reasonably well-equipped. Our only suggestions would be to provide a larger (and softer) bed in the master. We are small humans( 5’2” and 5’10”), and even my feet dangled off the edge of the bed. We felt like the mattress was really hard too. We got used to it, but a nicer bed would be appreciated by future guests. As there has been a lot of attention to detail in creating this space, for longer stays, I would add more glassware (champagne flutes, in particular), storage containers, scissors, more mugs and flatware. Lastly, better lamps in the rooms for reading at night would be super. We would stay here again, no doubt. And we loved our time in Saumur. Thank you for sharing your amazing place with us!

Pleasant accommodation in the city center of Bourgueil. It is easy to access with all the shops nearby. Ideally located to visit the surroundings of Chinon and Saumur. Great value for money. Recommended.

Very good quiet apartment close to the city center and the exhibition center

We had a very pleasant stay in this ideally located apartment! The accommodation and bedding are very comfortable, as described and well-equipped. We recommend this property!

The one-room apartment is really very nice and exceptionally tastefully furnished. You can see that an architect with a love of detail was at work here. We felt very at home for a week and enjoyed Saumur and the surrounding area from here. The apartment is fully recommended without restrictions. Only the entrance and the staircase are unsuitable for people with mobility impairments.

We enjoyed a lovely stay in Aurelien's rental. It was a good central location. It can be a little loud at night due to the windows open up onto the square, but that is not a fault of the flat - just something to be aware of if you are looking for a more quiet stay. It didn't not last late into the night and we slept easily. We would highly recommend the flat to anyone looking for a central location. Aurelien was very responsive to all our messages when we needed help with where to go to obtain certain things.

This is a cozy apartment. It is very clean, warm and homely. The bed is large, and comfortable. Bathroom is next door to the bedroom, with large shower. Very convenient. The kitchen is very well equipped, the only thing missing was a freezer compartment in the fridge. The host let me know they are looking into accommodate this for the current season. Arrival was flexible, and easy. Nearby free carpark is convenient. The host had good tourist information available in the apartment, which was helpful. We found the host to be friendly, and responsive. We would be back to this property any time. Fully recommended.

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. It was very lovingly furnished, had high-quality kitchen appliances, very comfortable mattresses and was very large. The only small negative point: Unfortunately, there was no direct access for us (AirBnB) from the garage via the courtyard into the house. You had to walk around the block. But overall highly recommended!!

We have stayed in many Airbnb‘s in Europe, in Asia and in North America. I would say that this is one of the best we have ever stayed in. The Good: - The size of the apartment is quite significant, especially for two people. - It is very generously stocked with everything we needed, included most importantly, coffee. - The bed was extremely comfortable. - It was extremely clean, particularly the kitchen and bathroom - The apartment itself is classically French in style. - The neighbourhood is very quiet. - The apartment is situated very near everything you would want to see and do - Joelle is clearly an experienced and dedicated Airbnb host. She was professional throughout and communicated quickly. She generously allowed us to arrive earlier than expected. - There was ample space to store our two bicycles securely The Not So Good - It is rare to write this, but we cannot think of anything negative to say about this Airbnb.

This stay was a gift for my parents. We had already done this and we had the idea to offer them. Like us , they thought the place was atypical and amazing. A soothing and easy-to-reach place. A clean and well-equipped place. Nearby there is Saumur and the zoo to visit. the area is very friendly. And thank you again to the responsive hosts whose access details are clear

Peaceful stay near Saumur, impeccable and carefully renovated and decorated accommodations. Many tours within 15 minutes or less. We were charmed and will probably come back to the area. Thanks!

Thank you to Marie and Anthony for this stay in their very well-equipped Airbnb. The sauna, spa and steam room greatly contributed to making the stay enjoyable. The accommodation, located in a quiet area in the courtyard of a condominium, is well insulated from noise. Small downside regarding the temperature of the jacuzzi, which we did not know how to set well, but Anthony reacted very quickly and helped us perfectly!
