Le gite l'atelier est une ancienne menuiserie entièrement rénovée à neuf en 2025. Situé en lisière du massif forestier Mervent/Vouvant, et d'un des plus beaux villages de France "Vouvant", sans oublier à moins d'une heure en voiture : Le Puy du Fou, Le Marais Poitevin, La Rochelle, l'ile de ré et la côte vendéenne. Pour les amateurs de pêche le gîte se situe à 5 min de deux lacs de barrage réputés pour la pêche du carnassier.
