My Grandmas' house.

My Grandmas is located in one of the most beautiful and privileged spots of Douro: Ferradosa. This used to be the house of my paternal grandmother bought after her death by my maternal grandmother to me, her only granddaughter. What was once an inhabited village back in the days where used to live the workers of the wine, olive oil, almond & CP, gave place nowadays to a peaceful & empty place. Proudly located at an UNESCO World Heritage site we wait for you all to share the magic of this place.

A restored house with all the comforts you need for a wonderful retreat and/or get-together with family and friends. This house is located in an old abandoned village near the river with a beautiful little beach. If you enjoy being in contact with nature, this is the ideal place; you can find otters, many varieties of birds, etc. The house has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and air conditioning. The pool is shared with another house. Meals are available upon request.

Refurbished in the year 2022, we took special care to cherish all these beloved childhood memories that our family had in this beautiful village. Parada is a picturesque village of the forgotten interior of Trás-os-Montes. The landscape is magnificent with the tears of the river Sabor and the new dam to sweeten the nature typical of the region.
