MacLeod Cove is a 3-bedroom cottage on the Bras d'Or, Cape Breton's beautiful inland sea. Enjoy ocean views and private cove, within 25 minutes drive of Baddeck, North Sydney (Newfoundland ferry terminal), and the Cabot Trail. Climbing ropes, trampoline, free range chickens! Enjoy the fire pit, water view sauna! Like many homes on the island, this is a very old, rustic cottage with lots of charm and the most comfy beds. Private downstairs 2-bedroom basement apartment located in the quiet community of South Bar. Take advantage of the view and great sunsets with a relaxing stroll down to the shore. Apartment is well suited for 2 couples, a small family or solo travelers. We cannot allow pets in our Airbnb…we are unable to make exceptions to this policy. Full size newly renovated kitchen available for cooking meals or prepping a light snack. Washer and dryer are also available for your convenience.

There is a private beach across the street or try Mira Gut provincial park beach approximately 1 km down the road. There is a children’s play structure onsite. The cottage has been newly renovated and is very modern and tastefully decorated - a true oasis!
