Joe’s place was everything it said in the description and more. It was spotlessly clean, spacious, homely and inviting. The wood heater was fantastic and kept the house warm day and night. The kitchen had literally everything you could want and the bathroom was lovely! The water was only 25m from the door, bird life and we even had an Aurora! We will come and stay again for sure.

We loved our stay at Sunrise - very comfy beds, very clean, appreciated the milk in the fridge, beautiful views, great kitchen to cook in, very warm, Table tennis table was fun, lots of gorgeous birds, quiet neighbours thanks Jan we cannot wait to come back!!

Beautiful spot to spend a long weekend. So close to the beach and amazing to hear the wave crashing at night. Even though it rained quite a lot, we were explored the coast on foot, raced waves on the sand, and stayed cosy inside with the fire on and soup cooking on the stove. Kids loved all the games. Husband got out for a mountain bike ride and loved reading the retro mtb mags! Thanks for having us!

The house is lovely, very comfy, spotless, and well appointed. Plenty of parking and a great outdoor space. The hosts really appear to care about quality and they are very approachable and responsive. This was our second stay and it was as good as the first, and there is likely to be a third visit in the future!

Our family of 2 young boys and dog recently stayed 3 nights at Dan's. We loved everything about the place. The cabins are a great size, very well fitted out and designed, and have everything you need. Spotless and stylish. It was a wet weekend so we spent a lot of time indoors and loved it. TV and board games - perfect! A very short drive to Bicheno in a peaceful location. Dan was an awesome host. A must visit, and we'll be back!

We had such a lovely stay at this old salty shack! It’s hard to describe how beautiful the view is, with the shack perched on the hill overlooking the bay and the hills beyond. It filled with light during the day and we loved having coffee and watching the sunrise and sunset colours. It has the feeling of someone’s home — if you’re into perfectly curated spaces, this may not be for you. Chris was such a lovely host and great communicator. The beds were so comfy and the kitchen so well stocked. The espresso machine was a fun bonus! The bathrooms are older but clean and functional. Our only minor complaint was the construction workers across the yard — not a bother to us, just something to be aware of for privacy, as the glass bedroom sliding doors face directly out. Otherwise such a cosy, beautiful stay… we didn’t want to leave. We hope to be back!

Had a terrific and relaxing few days at the Shack. Suse and Sam were really lovely to deal with and responsive to any questions. They even called to check on us when there were reports of a power outage which was very thoughtful. The shack is lovely and is very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. There are board games and books and plenty of tea for lazy days on the couch but the location is great and was an excellent base for walks. Highly recommend and would stay again. Lots of lovely birdlife to sit on the deck and watch including a daily visit from a lovely big kookaburra.

Absolutely amazing cabin in close proximity to the trails of derby. the space is clean and bright with spectacular views of bushland. Host went above and beyond due to a personal issue that I experienced during the stay. absolutely first rate location and facilities. have already booked a future trip to the next door two bedroom location. 5 stars.

Such a beautiful little spot, close to the action at St Helens. Loved how well stocked the kitchen was. Communications also super clear. Would recommend.

lovely place that’s located right by the coast. walkable to key landmarks in bicheno and food nearby. our hosts were lovely though we initially turned into the neighbour’s property, and everything was clean and tidy. thank you for the lovely stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Jo's unit which was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed. Jo was a good communicator . The lovely surprise gift on arrival was very thoughtful. Thank you Jo!

Bordaga Unit 1 @ Scamander is a great place to stay, with beautiful ocean views

Great hosts and a great location. Lovely views from the deck and spacious living area. We walked down to Governors for a delicious coffee then walked down Jetty St and along the rocks and beach path. Recommend a walk to the blowhole at high tide. Would love to stay again sometime.
