Holiday rentals with lake access in Bristol

Gio was a delight to stay with. He gave clear instructions for check in and house rule while maintaining a relaxed environment. He additionally provided me with valuable advice for getting around the city and things to do. The location is not central, but the nearby m2 bus takes you everywhere you need. Would highly recommend staying here!

Lovely stay at Mels, very peaceful and managed to sleep 😴 well. Mel is very chatty and friendly and made me feel very welcome. Close to my family which was great. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Pearls wonderful air bnb to celebrate my Dad's 94th birthday. The house was stunning and very comfortable. The location was perfect, only a short walk to the front, not far from shops and great pubs. We didn't encounter any problem with parking outside the house. Would love to go back in the not too distant future.

The property is in a stunning location, stil within Bath city boundaries but with a beautiful view and very quiet surroundings. Living room and bedrooms were comfortable - even though the mattress in the master bedroom was too soft for me. Access is fairly challenging, so wouldn't be suitable for older people. Also the bathroom was rather unusually placed and accessible from the lounge only by going up some stairs across the top floor and then down again on the other side. But for us, as a family it was very nice and we had a wonderful stay.

We stayed with Daisy's beautiful home for a week and where lucky to have fantastic sunshine every day. The house is a great size and fantastic with kids with its secure garden including swings and slides. Daisy was very responsive on the lead up to and during out stay and recommended a number of local attractions. We loved the local pub Ring o Bells which is about a 30 minute walk uphill through quiet lanes which served fantastic food. The location was perfect for us being near to Cheddar, Bath and Wells with a large number of activities for both Adults and the Kids We hope to be back to stay soon!

Beautiful spot in Blagdon overlooking the lake and within walking distance of several pubs and cafes. Well stocked cottage, and a great base for everything Somerset has to offer.

I found Bonnie's place to be just what I needed. I had a good night's sleep in this comfortable, easy to find and reasonably priced accommodation. Bonnie was very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend.

Excellent accommodation, very clean, well equipped, perfect location, short walk to amenities & seafront. Lots of lovely homely touches. Very good communication with owner who was super helpful. Didn’t find key box straight away, but that was user error as hidden in plain sight 🤣. Thank you would highly recommend and would most definitely go back.

Fantastic stay, loved the outside area, quiet and peaceful in and out. The front room was great for relaxing later in the evening. Impressed by the shower, hairdryer etc, the little things that make a big difference. Great location for visiting Bath and the surrounding area. Will definitely stay again.

Lovely stay at Willow Warbler. The estate is beautiful & maintained to a high standard. Very peaceful. The apartment had everything we needed including extra touches like milk, travel cot, washing machine & dishwasher tablets, plenty of cooking equipment, tea bags, oil for cooking etc. There is a nice restaurant & pool on site. We didn’t use the gym as the opening hours weren’t early enough (10-5 so we were out for the day). We travelled with a 9 month old but there looked to be lots of things for older children such as soft play, water sports & play ground. Lots of bird watching to be done. Jane was very good at communicating with us & checking everything was ok. We used the apartment as a base to go out for the day such as to Oxford & Bourton but the apartment is very comfortable if you prefer chilling. Would recommend if you are looking for a quiet relaxed break.

Geoff is a great host, very helpful and responsive. The flat is very cozy, clean, has comfortable beds and a beautiful view. Loved our stay.

A perfect short-stay getaway with dreamy views across the water. The lounge and bedroom overlook the sea making it the perfect place to wake with coffee and watch the sunrise. The flat is well equipped. We cooked amazing local produce from the excellent butcher and greengrocer during our stay. The shower was a great way to relax after a long day exploring Penarth and the surrounding area. It's about a 10 - 15 minute walk into the town centre through a beautiful and peaceful park and Cardiff is a short train, bus or taxi ride away! Initially we were concerned that the flat might smell of fish and chips because of the takeaway below, but it doesn't. We can heartily recommend them - especially if you have food allergies and they also cater for vegans. Similarly the ice cream parlour on the pier were able to cater for celiacs and vegans. The customer service team were highly responsive. We would love to stay again if we attend events in the local area. BeachCliff is amazing

A cosy, clean and comfortable place to stay. Powerful shower. Nice dining area. Very friendly host and good food from the chip shop. Nice little high street and pretty walk around the lake.

Amazing stay, so peaceful and lovely. Location is great, secluded but close enough to drive to takeaway spots or Tesco. Not too far from the Brecon Beacons where we travelled to for the four falls trail. Would visit again, thank you :)

We had a wonderful stay in the cottage- it’s beautiful, homely and well catered and stocked. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and really try to ensure you have a great time there. The surroundings are brilliant and really worked for our multigenerational weekend get away- there was something for everyone. We will definitely come back. Our stay at Jacqueline’s cottage was superb. It is quite spacious, airy and bright. The house is nicely appointed and extremely well equipped. Jacqueline was very welcoming and a very responsive host. We would definitely stay again. We had trouble finding the place using the Airbnb map. It took us to a totally different location. Entering the address in your own satnav/gps works though.

This is our second stay at Lakeside Barn and again it lived up to our expectations. Such a beautiful place with peaceful surroundings. Anna and George are the perfect hosts and I would have no hesitation in recommending the barn.

Great stay with the family at Chris & Alexandra’s. Great cottage exactly as described and located in a lovely gated community. Comfortably housed 6 adults and 2 toddlers. We benefited from clear and detailed instructions both for finding the place and staying in it. The hosts responded promptly to any questions we had. Would highly recommend the place for family stays!

Fairhazel was a lovely cottage. Spotlessly clean with many thoughtful touches and lots of goodies. Lower Mill Estate is a lovely place to stay with lots to do - paddle boarding, swimming, walking, tennis and cycling. We would definitely recommend and will return. Thank you Jason

Helen and Paul’s place is the most beautiful and thoughtfully curated Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. This home truly goes above and beyond, every room is filled with beautiful, thoughtful touches that made our stay feel so special. From homemade sourdough bread waiting for us, to individual toiletries and everything you could possibly need already provided, it was clear how much care and love has gone into creating this space. The garden was absolutely stunning, with cozy, comfortable furniture perfect for relaxing. And the hot tub under the stars! Just magical. The entire stay felt like a peaceful retreat, and we left feeling completely recharged. Helen and Paul were the perfect hosts — incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We can’t recommend this place highly enough.

The cottage was a great place to stay in a beautiful rural location. Katy was very helpful and responsive. I would recommend staying here to anyone looking to explore the Abergavenny/Monmouthshire area or looking to explore the Brecon Beacons.

This is a stunning, very old property in the most beautiful location. We were grateful for the communication with Sally before and during our stay. There is so much to do both inside and outside the house. Wish we had more time to explore the area.
