House holiday rentals in Bristol

This was the perfect home base for exploring various parts of the Maine coast. Beds were comfy, and each room had a wall unit to make it the temperature you like. Our kids loved being upstairs in the 3 beds room and having their own space. WiFi worked great, and that was with 7 of us on it doing various things - adults working, kids streaming. Would definitely stay here again.

This was one of the most memorable places I have ever lived at! The property is huge, well maintained and just a perfect getaway spot with the right amount of amenities. Will definitely recommend this place 10/10 to anyone visiting Acadia National Park.

We had a wonderful stay at John’s place, house was clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed for a month stay. Private and beautiful surroundings, responsive and friendly host, and a great location to explore Maine and the upper east coast. Memories to last a lifetime! Would recommend anyone wanting to enjoy to coast of Maine to stay here and have a great time, so much to see and do. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

I had a wonderful stay., they were fantastic in accommodations for me and my service dog who loved the yard. The home is beautiful and the host was very accommodating. communication was great. I look forward to staying there when I’m in that area again.

Booked this place for our anniversary to get away from the city for a weekend.. we found exactly what we were looking for! The hot tub was wonderful, the house was clean and cute, and we had everything we could have needed! Estelle was very responsive and gave clear instructions for everything. Would recommend this place for a quiet getaway or a small group trip in the summer!

My return visit to the Boathouse was even lovelier than I hoped it would be. The location can't be matched by anything else I've seen. I enjoyed a September visit with my dog and was lucky to have pristine weather. I lived a very simple and healthy outdoors life and came home the better for it. The Boathouse is true to its description: it is simple and rustic and uncomplicated but well-equipped, and is perfect for one-and-dog, or for two people. A little coming-and-going from the neighboring houses meant that I didn't feel isolated. Margaret is truly an exceptional and friendly host who communicates promptly and clearly. I almost hesitate to share "my" Boathouse location with too many of my back-home friends because it feels so intimate and special. I already want to be back there. I offer my deep thanks to Margaret and to the place that I could - briefly - call home.

Kathi’s place was great! Super close to the Downtown Portland/Old Port area. Kathi was a great host, extremely responsive and genuinely nice, plus she even made my family and I some delicious blueberry muffins for our stay! Her instructions were clear and she made us feel right at home! Would definitely stay again whenever we’re in the area!

It was so wonderful to find out that George and Paul were actually old friends from when I lived in Maine. They were wonderful hosts and made we feel right at home. They were always around so I could ask questions if need be. I enjoyed my stay a lot and loved seeing what they had done to the house and seeing the guys. Linda

Our stay at The Rowe House was absolutely wonderful! The space was immaculate, and had every amenity we needed. The host was welcoming and made us feel at home. The location was perfect - close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. We especially loved the kitchen that led to the side porch. The yard was well taken care of and had plenty of seating to hang out. Also the beds were very comfortable. It was truly one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had, and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Boothbay Harbor. Beautiful location!

We had a great week at Adam’s place! My family loved the quiet, natural setting and ease of access to Boyd’s Pond. The swimming area had a gradual slope into the water which was perfect for young kids. The big kitchen was great for cooking large family meals, and we also got out for fantastic seafood dinners at the nearby Shaw’s Wharf. Thanks for a wonderful Maine getaway!

This place has all the comforts of home and then some. Very thoughtful amenities including a smart TV, a turntable with a small eclectic vinyl collection, and indoor and outdoor games. Every room having lightswitches with dimmers and the separate climate control units in each bedroom were great! With beach gear available for a quick drive down to Popham and being able to bring the outdoors indoors by opening up the two retractable doors on the first floor were fantastic! Alina and Brian are very communicative and accommodating. We will certainly be staying here again for our next trip.

The house was a perfect place for our family. It is an easy walk to the beautiful beach, and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Rocky Coast Rentals is a great host.

Lisa’s place was perfect for our Mother/Daughter vacation. It was bright, airy, comfy, and absolutely amazing. We woke up to hummingbirds feeding on the deck and went to sleep watching fireflies light up the trees while being serenaded by bullfrogs. In between, we were able to travel to Boothbay Harbor for exploring and sightseeing. We hope to visit again soon.

Liz is a phenomenal host The home is newly remodeled and beautiful! It’s litterally steps away from the waterfront. She gave us lots of suggestions which we did including a stop in Camden on our way from BarHarbor for lunch at Camden deli and views from mt battie. We visited Maine Coastal Gardens and enjoyed the trolls and lush gardens (wish we could have stayed longer) and did a 4 1/2 hour whsle/ puffin tour no whale sittings but we saw lots of puffins, a seal and porpoise. Ended the day with dinner at ports of Italy Amazing food We would definitely stay here again only regret is we didn’t stay long enough

Very pretty location and private 😊 This is a lovely and authentic older home and reminded me of my great grandmother’s home with creaky wood floors and homey atmosphere! We were just sorry that we didn’t have enough time to enjoy the beautiful stone patio for morning coffee or evening meals!

Laura's place was newly renovated, clean, and peaceful. You can hear the river from inside the house when the windows are open. Even though it's on a main road, you can't see or hear traffic since it's set back from the road in a wooded area. Mattresses were very comfortable as well. There is a large mini split in the living room and fans in the bedrooms. The mini split cooled the whole house and in general the house stayed pretty cool even on hot days since it's in a wooded area. I highly recommend!

Fantastic location. Right in the heart of everything. Great parking. Communication was clear and timely. The unit was very clean at check-in. The unit is as detailed in the listing. There is no tv, which for many people is nice, unless there is something you want to watch on a rainy day. The wall between the kitchen and bedroom doesn’t go to the ceiling, as a photo shows but also the wall between the bathroom and the rest of the space does not go to the ceiling.

Quinn and Katya had a beautiful home on the most serene island next to Boothbay Harbor. My family and I stayed here for a long weekend and loved having this as our base. All 10 of us comfortably fit downstairs when hanging out as well as outdoors on their large deck. The walk down to the bay was short and quite the spot to sit and look out. The house came stocked with everything we could need and more including wood for the wood burning stove that we used when the house was cold upon arrival and a fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, utensils, dishes, spices) so we could make our own lobster dinner one night. We were really happy that there was 2 master suites especially since one was located on the first floor which was perfect for my parents who are in their 70s. Overall, we had no complaints and would happily stay here again if we were back in Maine. Thank you so much for opening your home to us!

Gregory and Sara’s place is comfortable, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Set back from the road and surrounded by trees, the round house is perfectly located and from the inside, enjoys views of trees and birds out of huge windows. We felt very welcome and enjoyed the wine, delicious coffee and popcorn that awaited us! If you are looking for a secluded place in nature and a short drive to picturesque mid-coast harbors, this is the place for you.

Great communication. House has a lovely view, especially nice sunsets. The screened porch is perfect for relaxing with friends or family. Comfortable, clean furnishings. Good Wi-Fi. Has everything you could possibly need. Just like described, be aware there are very steep narrow stairs to navigate to bedrooms. We would definitely like to return and highly recommend.
