O'Rourkes cottage is situated in the picturesque valley of Glenasmole, nestled in the foothills of the Dublin mountains overlooking Dublin city. The cottage has 2 bedroom, sitting room and kitchen with a woodland garden. Ideally situated to enjoy the the Dublin Wicklow mountains . The cottage includes central heating, wood burning stove, cooker, electric shower. We are now operating a minimum two night stay. Escape to this private cabin with mountain, city, and sea views. Nestled at the end of our property, it offers complete privacy. You are also welcome to meet our alpaca, sheep, pygmy goats, pigs, and horse. It features a coffee machine, filtered water, toaster, kettle, heater, and electric blanket. A private bathroom is adjacent, with access to a shared full kitchen. A bus stop just 350m away provides direct access to the city center. As we are a farm, it’s not suitable for infants or infirm.

You will be staying in the garden of Ireland in Wicklow. The horse racing centre of Ireland is in nearby Kildare within a short drive. There are several Golf courses within easy reach. The capital city Dublin is within an easy bus ride. Locally, a drive or walk at Blessington lakes is a must or a visit to Rusborough House.

The Cabin

Our beautiful cabin is set in the heart of the Wicklow mountains 10km from the Sally Gap. The area is a haven for nature enthusiasts, cycling, walking and other outdoor activities. Kippure estate (adventure center) is 2 miles away. It is an open space with king size bed, we are happy to provide floor mattress or camp bed for additional guests or children. The kitchen has kettle, toaster, fridge, twin hop and microwave for your use. Bathroom includes walk in electric shower.
