Me and my friends loved this BNB!! The hot tub was amazing and the pool was an awesome addition. Instructions were clear and even called to walk me through everything. Plenty of places to sleep and loads of places to go!

this was the 3rd time our family has stayed,again we had a fantastic time! We chose to return due to the great space, a fabulous indoor pool, great kitchen and an amazing view. Great attention to details, comfortable for large families or groups and peaceful for just 2.

We felt like at home. The house is located in a private property with swimming pool and tennis courts. It’s very clean and very peaceful. Just a clarification about the description : there’s no bathroom in the basement. Then if you come with elderly people or very young kids, it could be annoying. If you like cooking, the kitchen is very well equipped. We´ll keep a very good memory of our stay in Ducktrap Retreat during the colorful foliage season.

Booked this place for our anniversary to get away from the city for a weekend.. we found exactly what we were looking for! The hot tub was wonderful, the house was clean and cute, and we had everything we could have needed! Estelle was very responsive and gave clear instructions for everything. Would recommend this place for a quiet getaway or a small group trip in the summer!

My return visit to the Boathouse was even lovelier than I hoped it would be. The location can't be matched by anything else I've seen. I enjoyed a September visit with my dog and was lucky to have pristine weather. I lived a very simple and healthy outdoors life and came home the better for it. The Boathouse is true to its description: it is simple and rustic and uncomplicated but well-equipped, and is perfect for one-and-dog, or for two people. A little coming-and-going from the neighboring houses meant that I didn't feel isolated. Margaret is truly an exceptional and friendly host who communicates promptly and clearly. I almost hesitate to share "my" Boathouse location with too many of my back-home friends because it feels so intimate and special. I already want to be back there. I offer my deep thanks to Margaret and to the place that I could - briefly - call home.

I recently stayed with my family at this incredible Airbnb that exceeded all my expectations. This property offered a hot tub, a pool table, and a level of privacy and tranquility that made for a truly relaxing getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was being able to watch the northern lights from the hot tub – it was absolutely magical. We spent a week in Acadia, and the location was perfect, just 15-20 minutes from Bar Harbor or the nearest town. The hosts were very responsive, and the place was fantastic for families, being both kid and pet friendly. It was a week filled with unforgettable moments, and I can't recommend this place enough!

An absolute dream of a stay! The pictures and description do not do this house justice. My friends and I were in awe when we opened the door. You could tell that every section of the house had the thought put into the comfort of whoever stays in the house. My friends and I were visiting Acadia but decided to stay a little further out in Brooklin. The drive to Acadia isn't bad...it's about 50 minutes to an hour to get to the visitor's center. We didn't mind driving. The view from the house was great in the morning. I slept with the blinds open to be awaken by the beauty of the view. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast and coffee before we headed out for the day. The bathrooms were huge and very clean. There is a catwalk that connects the two top bedrooms...SO COOL! Jen and Steve messaged me many recommendations in the area. I had a question about an area to explore and Jen and Steve responded within minutes with great suggestions. This is a dream house!

Quickly became one of our favourite ever Airbnbs - such a beautiful space, perfect for the two of us and two friends to use as a base for exploring the Maine coast. Completely immaculate, perfectly laid out, and with a great outside area and shared/private beach which was great for beach combing even on greyer days. Highly recommend Amandine Bakery which is just a few minutes walk, and loved the Three Tides waterside restaurants in Belfast just a short drive away. Jason was very helpful, and quickly responded to any questions (not that we required a huge amount as the house was so well appointed!). Would love to return.

The perfect getaway! We absolutely loved our stay. The house is so charming and the location is absolutely beautiful. It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. We will definitely be back.

Simply magical! Cozy and fun space. We enjoyed watching eagles and ospreys fish, seals pop their heads up, and even an adorable family of foxes from the comfort of the living room! Kitchen had all necessities for cooking most meals at home. A nice trail for walking down the road and an awesome beach where the kids threw stones and searched for seaglass each afternoon. We were all sad to leave!

My girlfriend and I stayed at this Air BnB while exploring Acadia National Park. The private parking was great due to me having a longer truck. We loved the view from the bed room window, and the living room sliding door. It was also great to have local shops and restaurants acouple minutes down the road. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Maine!

We loved our stay on Deer Isle. It was perfect for our mother and daughter vacation. Mary was the perfect hostess and the home was delightful. We loved being walking distance from a fabulous coffee shop and a beach to watch the sunset.

Such a peaceful and charming getaway! Loved the private backyard space and all of the cute design details. Plenty of fans to keep us cool and lots of supplies/activities. The little radio speaker was great and loved that there were some guidebooks to read and games to play. The first aid kit was fully stocked too which was so handy. SO glad that we had this spot to come back to after long days in bar harbor, nice to be away from the touristy area and to have such a cozy space to unwind. The neighboring town of Ellsworth was super cute and definitely worth a visit if you stay here. Would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to visit the area.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The hosts couldn’t have been any nicer. We loved the space was perfect for our needs. It was close to all that we needed but nice and quiet. The extra touches in the house like fresh flowers were lovely. Highly recommend this place.

As a Christmas gift to the family I booked Lucy's place for a long weekend. We were 4 generations together for 4 nights/3 full days! We cooked, we had a fire in the beautiful fireplace, read, did a puzzle, lazed around, played games and laughed until we cried! The accommodations were perfect...everyone had a private room and bath and best of all we were able to bring our pups! The place was friendly and bright and very comfortable. The bathrooms are gorgeous and the bedrooms bright and the perfect place to nap and sleep well through the night. We plan on going back next year and adding a day!

Greg’s place was perfect for our family and all the things we wanted to do. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and in a great central location. Although the main reason we stayed here was because of its proximity to Acadia, which we loved… our favorite activity was exploring Fort Knox- only a few minutes from the house. We would definitely love to return to Greg’s beautiful home!

John's place is absolutely beautiful and homey! The house has been totally renovated in the winter of 2025 and is very lovely, classy, on-trend in ways that make this seaside cottage feel so refreshed, current and relatable. And that's just the INSIDES! The deck overhanging the rocks to the shore is THE perfect place to hang out: start your day here with a mug of hot coffee. Have lunch and cocktails in the afternoon/evening while viewing the unspoiled, gorgeous bay. Nature and serenity are what this place is ALL about! Enjoy the total peace, privacy and happiness this home provides. It's a true gem!

My family and I had a lovely stay at Dean’s place. It’s just as depicted in the photos with gorgeous ocean views inside and outside. Our two boys had a great time wandering the shoreline hunting for treasure and exploring Acadia daily. We enjoyed our coffee on the deck & even saw a bald eagle one morning! We’d love to return when the boys are older and make use of the kayaks!

Very nice home, right on the ocean. Appreciated the well appointed kitchen, spice rack and clean BBQ grill.

The cottage was beautiful, I loved the artwork and light fixtures. The small details made Babettes home lovely and peaceful. I enjoyed watching the deer in the back meadow in the evenings and was most appreciative that my pup was welcomed there as well. I highly recommend if you tee looking for a quite get away

One of the cleanest airbnbs I have stayed at!! Comfortable beds and lots of space!! The kitchen had everything we could need to cook for 2 days! Hui went out of her way to make us comfortable.
