The first thing you notice about this apartment in Buxton is how beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean it is. All very fresh and tasteful which makes it very easy to feel at home. I loved the nightlights that popped on too! The location was brilliant. A minute or so’s walk to some great restaurants and bars. We enjoyed the Tap Room, Sock & Buskin cocktail bar, Santiago’s (tapas) and Simply Thai. Also Cavendish Pizza is an easy quick meal. The gardens, opera house and crescent are all very close too. We had a morning at the spa and could see the apartment from the outside pool! As expected with a location so close to things, there is some noise at night. It was warm weather so there were quite a lot of people drinking outside and being loud until midnight. We put the bedroom fan on which drowned it out a bit though. Top tip - when loading/unloading your car you can open a window in the front room and pass your bags through!

Absolutely gorgeous little cottage in a great location to explore the Peak District! We met the hosts mother upon check in and had a lovely chat which made us feel right at home. We loved the farmland nearby and the sounds of the animals outside as well as the lovely garden area where you can relax in the sun. Oh and the views are to die for! The WiFi was perfect and the TV was great to watch movies on during those rainy days, there was also lots of leaflets to help plan your trips around the Peak District. Worth noting, albeit this is in the process of being resolved from our understanding, if you are a light sleeper it may be worth baring in mind you can hear upstairs guests. It wasn’t an issue for us at all, but worth mentioning, however this didn’t affect our stay at all! Overall, we had a fantastic week here and would come back in a heartbeat, thank you so much Naomi for a wonderful stay!

The place was perfect for our one night stay with my parents and our one year-old. It was comfortable and very centrally located. Even though it’s right in the heart of the busy bar area of the city with the Windows closed it was quite peaceful at night. The living space was great for hanging out.

Very beautiful place to stay with stunning views and walks close by. Check in was very easy the apartment is lovely very comfy beds and everything you need for a good stay. Chris communicated well and gave me lots of ideas of things to do. Thanks a lot

Wonderful flat, really well decorated, clean and comfortable. Would recommend. Only slightly weird thing is that it’s a 2 bed but one bedroom was locked which I’ve never experienced before. I was travelling alone but would’ve been nice to choose the room I slept in, as I had to use the one facing the main road and was hot but a bit noisy to open the window overnight. Otherwise a nice place to stay.

We stayed at John’s apartment for our girls’ weekend. From the start, communication from our hostess fantastic. He was so responsive and gave us meticulous instructions for how to access the accommodation as well as lots of recommendations for car parking. The apartment couldn’t really be better located. Right next to an NCP car park and a 5-10 mins walk from great bars and restaurants. The accommodation itself was roomy and had some beautiful features including exposed brick work and wooden beams. The bedrooms were roomy, clean and beautifully decorated and the bathrooms were clean and modern. The accommodation has a lovely communal kitchen with lots of extras like tea bags and a coffee machine. We also loved the snug living room which had plenty of games, books and a TV to keep us entertained. Really loved the apartment and would definitely stay again. Thank you for having us!

Perfect AirBnB. Spotless flat. Dedicated parking. Central location. Good wifi. Great kitchen/living area. Also adjacent to a beautiful park with trails and playgrounds for kids - Norfolk Heritage Park. Cafe in the park, Duke's, is great too, btw.

An absolute gem! Highly recommend. We were a party of 2 families (2 adults and 4 kids, ages 13-17). This accommodation was perfect for our needs. It’s spacious, clean, a great location and even better than the photos. A well equipped kitchen, lots of board games to keep us entertained in the evening, and lots of bathrooms. Kiran is a great host. Very responsive and nothing was a problem. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely apartment.

We only stayed for two nights for a quick fly through visit, but we were really impressed with the flat. It was clean, tidy and comfy. We loved all the little details Sarah added in, so many recommendations on things to do and she even left us milk and biscuits for when we arrived. Really wonderful spot, great value for money, will be booking again.

Had an amazing stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure everything was perfect. This was my second stay here and would definitely stay here again when visiting Sheffield.

Lovely and very responsive host, great communication, which made checking in very easy. We stayed one night, it was exactly what we needed! Parking around the corner was suitable and the flat was easy to find. Definitely recommend.

Lovely stay

Another lovely stay at Diana's apartment. It has everything you need and is very comfortable - especially the bed: a great night's sleep! It is in a very handy location: on the bus route to get into the city if you don't want to drive, and only a few minutes from the beautiful Peak District. What more could you ask for? I am sure we will be returning.

We had a lovely relaxing break at this peaceful hideaway. Friendly and helpful hosts (with gorgeous little pooches) made this even better. It was perfect for our stay whilst we visited our daughter at UoS. Facilities and decor were excellent with super comfy bed and pillows. The patio gave us garden and sunset views and we enjoyed lovely walks in the local area. Thanks to Michael and Nicole for making us feel so welcome.

Excellent accommodation, comfortable, clean, well presented and located. Ideal base for visiting the Peak district with the benefit of being in the centre of Bakewell, giving easy access to shops and local pubs. Would definitely rebook when we next visit the area.

I booked out this property on short notice to host a party of 8 for my girlfriend’s Birthday and our experience was 10/10! The hosts David & Sarah both had swift responses to any questions I had. The property was amazing inside and spacious enough to house us all. Check in/out was seamless. Buxton town centre was less than a 10 minute walk away too, so perfect location. I’ve already recommended to many other friends and family. Thank you to David & Sarah for allowing me to make this weekend as special as I wanted it to be 😊

Very well appointed appartment in the centre of the Town. Convenient for shops (2 supermarkets), cafes and Pubs/eateries. Communication with Ben was easy and helpful, quick to sort out one minor problem we had. As we are in our 80's would have prefered on site parking but you can't have everything and we always found on street parking nearby.

absolutely fantastic I couldn't recommend it enough, my second time staying and certainly not the last I love the area it's in and the town center is a few minutes walk away! amazing place friendly owners and they respond fast if you ever need anything! immaculate to the very last corner an amazing stay would recommend to anyone visiting barnsley 10/10 amazing price especially for what you get I absolutely love it!

I work away from home quite often and it’s nice to find a stay which feels homely. A perfect place! I booked again as I’m working in the area again this week. Jenny’s apartment was lovely and clean and she was very informative with clear instructions etc.
